Nestled in the tranquil locality of Sumbal, this charming cottage is just a short 30-minute drive from the bustling attractions of Srinagar, offering the ideal blend of serenity and accessibility. Mornings begin with the delightful chorus of countless sparrows that inhabit the lush greenery surrounding the villa—nature’s gentle wake-up call. The well-maintained and aesthetically kept villa exudes an old-world charm, and every room radiates warmth and positivity. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt an instant sense of comfort and belonging. And at the heart of this idyllic setting is the person who makes the entire experience a truly memorable one. A heartfelt appreciation goes to our gracious host, Shahnawaz, whose thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly special. It was a genuine pleasure to chat with him.

To sum it up, we felt like we were at home. I was travelling to Srinagar with my parents and wife. We stayed for 4 days and it was a very comfortable stay. The place sparks with homely vibes. The rooms are cozy and the lawn outside gives you ample space to walk after a good meal. Vidur ji is really an amazing host. He would come down every day to check on us if we needed anything, gave us some good recommendations to eat and shop and took care of all our requests. Desraj ji and Arjun daily served us finger licking meals in breakfast and dinner. They also prepared some local authentic dishes. Overall I would definitely recommend their food over any other restaurant in Srinagar, it was that good. They would make you anything that you would ask for and that too fresh and hot. What else do you need on a vacation. They would also make you great tea whenever you would ask for. Overall I would definitely recommend Wazir house to anyone looking for a cozy stay with great food and location.

Great host ,beautiful amenity

This was our first trip to Srinagar and choosing Nehel's property was the best decision. Nehel was always available during the entire stay for any help we needed. The best thing we felt was that we were staying at our home only. The icing on the cake was their home made food, which was absolutely perfect. We wish Nehel and her family the best and hope that they continue to make people happy with their loving nature.

The place was amazing we felt right at home, it has all the necessary amenities and the garden is a big addition. Few things they can improve is on the lights outside which they turnoff after 8/9 it should be well lit. And drinking water if an RO can be arranged thats great

I stayed at Tasleema ji's home with my family and it felt right at home. She is warm, welcoming, always responsive and available for all our needs. It was a pleasure to try her delicious cooking, especially Kashmiri wazwan and Kahwa. The place in itself is a full fledged home with all amenities and a beautiful garden with lovely roses, a pretty sight to wake up to. I would highly recommend staying at Tasleema ji's place, tucked in a peaceful location near airport for anyone visiting Srinagar.

Outstanding experience, great stay. Hafiz uncle was very helpful and responsive throughout the whole trip. He also suggested some great restaurants and places to visit nearby. This is a must recommendation for everyone. Cheers.

Great place to stay with family. Good peaceful location with all the amenities nearby. They have a caretaker who makes great food and the host is very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!
