As first time airbnb guests, Blueberry Haven has definitely spoiled us for all future rentals. Karen and Walt have created a comfortable, bucolic environment without skimping on any amenities. Combined with their attention to detail in all areas of the house, Karen’s and Walt’s warmth, friendliness, and generosity make Blueberry Haven THE place to stay. This place was great…super comfy and cozy, beds were comfy, hot tub was a great amenity after a long day out and about exploring. And the views were spectacular! And we were even lucky enough to catch the northern lights dancing across the sky as we were leaving for the airport. Would definitely look to book again! :)

Our large group was very comfortable. The beds and couches were very comfortable. Loved the large dining table. It was a great location for us to attend the basketball games at the Alaska Airlines center. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Very convenient to Girdwood, the arm and towns further into the peninsula. Perfect place for a couple days for my family of four. The hosts were onsite and very friendly and helpful with issues and ideas. Note it’s rustic living - very akin to a mountain town in the western lower 48 - with kids sharing a bunk bed and animals on site engaging with you. We loved it and would have no concerns staying here again.

Lovely place! Linda and Rick were so friendly and helpful. They are experts of surrounding exploration and fishing. They provided a lot of useful information touring around Anchorage. 100% recommend!

John place was just as described, we felt right at home. John is a nice host and responded right away. Location was great in the middle of town close to a lot of places that we went to. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful, welcoming and helpful host! Everything was clean. They even had breakfast items left for us. So accommodating! And very close to the airport and restaurants in town.

Love love love this spot. Definitely one of my favorite Airbnb experiences so far. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful for the whole trip. She even let us get a pretty late check out to accommodate our pup’s surgery. The view is stunning. The house was very comfortable, the hot tub was an amazing addition, and it felt like our own private oasis. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone visiting Anchorage!!!

Such a sweet little getaway. They left us some local blueberries and rhubarb applesauce but we didn’t get a chance to eat any because we were so busy didn’t make anything with them! Such a sweet thought. Also had cute truck sheets for my son to sleep on! Great hosts, would stay again!

Best experience in Alaska. If you have even clicked on this listing it is the place for you!!! From the fishing right off the dock for some decent size rainbows, to the clean comfortable cozy living area you will not find a better option! My son and I booked a two night stay at Shirley’s place towards the last 4 days of our vacation. As I hung up from her welcome call i immediately extended for the rest of my trip! The view from the bed is like it was painted there for you! The living space is like having an apartment next to the most amazing Alaskans you’ll ever meet. She even stocked the fridge for us with some breakfast fixins. Her husband Butch is fantastic! He shared tons of info about life in Alaska as my son and I intend on moving up here next summer to build our own place! From cooking us diners to inviting us to the state fair they made us feel so much like family we decided to pitch in on some lawn work with Butch!!! Forget looking for gold in Alaska this is a true DIAMOND!!!

I had to book an airbnb last minute and Scott and Wendy were very kind and helpful. They provide lists of local amenities and restaurants and their home has an Alaskan charm to it. Would stay here again!

We felt right at home! Mary was an extremely gracious host. She took time out of her busy day to spend time with our daughter on her farm. It was like we were visiting with family. Thank you so very much!

We are 1.5 weeks into our visit to Alaska. Traveling every town! But nothing beats our stay on the lake with June. It was Absolutely beautiful and everything/ more than what we imagined for our wedding night! I can not stress enough how much this stay meant to us! The views, bed comfort, fire place and bathroom just blew us away!!! Don’t pass up!!!!! You will regret it!

We definitely hit the jackpot on our first trip to Alaska by staying at Barry’s place! The views of the mountains were incredible - definitely breathtaking! This was a perfect distance from the city life in Anchorage. I cannot express how beautiful the views of the mountains were from this airbnb.

Came up to celebrate 2025 Iditarod-exactly 100 years since our original 1925 Serum Run; and had the wonderful opportunity to stay with Elijah. The neighborhood was perfectly safe and quiet, and Elijah was greatly informative and accommodating. Beautiful Room and Bathroom, Great Hot Tub, Spacious House with plenty to do and see! Had a close encounter with a neighborhood Mama Moose and Calf, but all ended well, and even more lovely birds to watch! Staying here was definitely a highlight of my trip, and I'm proud to recommend this host for your next trip to Anchorage. You're in for a great stay and a great time.

This place was amazing. There is so much to look at - the memorabilia is amazing. The place is one of the cleanest Airbnb's I have stayed at and she has thought of everything. The breakfast is wonderful - the kids loved picking something out of the freezer. It's a very short walk to breweries and restaurants. Carol is a lovely person, with a good heart. I would highly recommend anyone staying here. Don't stay in Anchorage!
