A wonderful, cozy basement apartment that felt like home. Loved the decor, warmth and functionality of the space -and appreciate the AK themed art! And unlike most rentals - the care put into the bed and linens was much appreciated - especially for a cold Alaska winter!

I had an amazing stay and a wonderful trip, largely because Kale’s place is well located by places and still far enough away to relax and be completely at peace. The northern lights didn’t show up, but you can’t arrange everything!

We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s place! They were incredibly responsive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

I'm conflicted writing this post, only because of how great it was and I don't want it booked up when I'm trying to go back there. This is what an Airbnb is supposed to be, the host cares about you being comfortable and went above and beyond in what's expected. The owner is on site, but was not bothersome, we spoke but is was in passing and it was a pleasant interaction each time. Oh yeah and the animals, they're always willing to come by and say good morning and a sad goodbye. My family and I cant wait to go back and check on Betty...you'll see what I mean when you stay there.

We were moving out of state & they were very accommodating for my family and our pets during our transition. Great spot & very peaceful. Loved the garden, very useful kitchen, comfy beds & great big table with lots of games.

This place is like a little slice of heaven. Very quiet location, felt secluded and not at all like being in someones backyard. It was easy to find, easy to park, cozy to hang out in. I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of the best accommodations available in Hope. If im ever down again this will be the top of my list for staying.

This place was great! It was quiet, private, in a convenient location. The hostess was proactive in informing me of situations around the property/unit. I would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we booked until the moment we left, Scotti made us feel like friends, not just guests. She was friendly, helpful, and communicative. The place is actually bigger than it looks and has everything you need. You're minutes from the zoo, grocery store, gas, bank, restaurants, etc, but far enough away that the only disturbance you'll have are the cars occasionally passing by. I'm sending this listing to all my friends and hoping that one day, we'll come back and rent both halves of the home.

Great place to call home base while in town for shopping! Quiet and awesome location for shopping! Hot tub was a super fun and relaxing addition! Absolutely recommend.

We had a 1-month stay at Jeff's place. This place is right by the city trail system and is walkable to downtown (~1.2 miles). There is also a bus stop right outside the house. A couple of us ended up working here for a bit. There was one desk for use and the internet there was good for work. The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans/utensils and there were plenty of towels and linens for use. Jeff was very responsive throughout our stay. We were not able to get the mail ourselves, but Jeff or his wife was happy to grab it for us when it came. I did have my parents here as well and they enjoyed the place. It was spacious with 3 floors and we were able to spread out. The bedrooms were nice, beds were comfortable. I did spend some nights in the basement, and it can get noisy when folks use the bathroom. Overall we did like this place and would stay here again if we come back to ANC.

One of the best properties I've enjoyed. I was only there overnight, but it was an exceptional stay! Daniel reached out(day of arrival) to ask what time we would like to enjoy the Nordic Spa, as I had inquired about when booking and it was ready to go. The entire space was tastefully decorated and had all of the little extras that make a stay that much more enjoyable. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry pods. a variety of teas, freshly ground coffee and more. We enjoyed talking with Daniel , making it a more personal stay. I am an extrovert, so I fully enjoy my guest/host interaction if available. A truly enjoyable, lovely stay! I highly recommend Daniel and Savannah's proprty.

We stayed at Holly’s place for a ski trip with our kids and some extra family. The location is amazing - private and also walking distance to the lifts. We loved the fully stocked kitchen, cozy atmosphere, upstairs TV space and amenities. The mudroom with space to hang wet ski gear is incredibly helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Girdwood!

When I use AirBnB I want to know that my host will communicate clearly with me and respond should I need to contact him. Scott does an outstanding job of this and this is why we have stayed at this property for seven years. Scott is an excellent host and the property suits our needs perfectly. We will be back!

this was a beautiful house and close to everything, exactly as described ! greg was easy-going and communication was top tier. he made our time in anchorage wonderful :) 10/10 recommend !!

Me and my family loved our stay here! My son had a blast playing with the animals and when he fell asleep me and my wife got to enjoy the wondering hot tub. Hearing the animals through out the day was wonderful, would definitely stay here again!!!
