We've stayed in BnBs from San Diego to Reykjavik, and Adam's home tops our list. The views are endless—from city lights to the Alaskan Range mountains, Ullrhaven’s shut down ski resort, and the forever sunset. Romantic lighting is everywhere, from candles to rope lights around the decks and hot tub. The bed is superb. The Lichtenberg-burned window ledges, done by Adam and a friend, were perfect for holding our hot beverages. The home is far enough from the city to feel the peace of nature, yet close enough for fun activities like Ivory Jacks or Running Reindeer Ranch. Meeting Adam was a highlight, learning how the home evolved from a shipping container and a hot tub with a ladder to what it is today (watch the build on IG). He checked in with us immediately after we landed to ensure we could reach his house with our rental car after three days of snow (have 4WD even in April!). He responded within minutes to any request. We are grateful he shares this one-of-a-kind home.

David is extremely helpful. He has everything you might need(even a curling iron). His home is warm and comfortable. Pretty area..would make a great Summer stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The view of the sky was absolutely beautiful—perfect for watching the aurora lights. The cabin itself was very nice, clean, and accommodating, with everything thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite things was the front area of the property—it was open and vast, unlike many other listings that were completely surrounded by woods. It made the views even better. This was my first time staying in a dry cabin, and it turned out to be a great experience. The hour-long drive to Fairbanks might seem like a downside at first, but the scenic views along the way actually made it a highlight. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for peace, beauty, and a real Alaskan experience. Thank you Eric and Hannah for this wonderful experience!

I really enjoyed our stay at Daniel’s place. The place is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Check-in was easy. It was very clean with all the necessities. The kitchen was well stocked and had all of the cooking accessories that were needed. Daniel was a very responsive and great host. He provided great suggestions for things to do in the area. One thing that I would recommend for other guests who will be visiting during winter/spring when there is snow on the ground is to make sure the rental car is either all-wheel or 4-wheel drive. We visited end of March to beginning of April and the roads were icy and snow covered and if I hadn’t rented an all-wheel drive, we wouldn’t have made it up some of the hills in the area. I would highly recommend staying at Daniel’s place!

This is a rustic space in beautiful surroundings. It was cozy and the bed was comfy. It’s about 20 min south of Denali national Park so convenient for those visiting. We saw moose along the road not far from this place both mornings.

The place is comfortable and cozy. Alaskan weather is harsh and unpredictable. Having approachable hosts makes all the difference. Melissa and Ryan live upstairs and helped us a lot. Their house is as lovely as they are. We highly recommend this place!

Abby's place was lovely, well appointed and included all the things we needed. It was peaceful, close to Denali and easy to get to grocery stores etc. While it might seem expensive, for the 6 of us who stayed there, we found Abby's place on par with other hotel rooms but it enabled us to cook and all be together in the evenings. Abby has a lovely place, with all the things you need to visit the area and/or Denali! You won't regret staying in this lovely house.

For a single night stay this cabin was beyond accommodating! Greg was able to work with me and my check in and out time, along with providing insight on what to expect when arriving and the road there! My only flaw was staying only a single night, hopefully in the future if I plan a similar trip I can restay at this wonderful cabin!

Cabane isolée magnifique. Perdue dans les bois, calme absolu hyper agréable. Très propre, Denver s’est assuré que nous soyons bien installées. Il a mis à disposition du spray contre les ours et des jumelles pour observer la nature en toute tranquillité. On a beaucoup apprécié le séjour.
