What a fabulous getaway tucked into the woods next to the lake! Beautiful views and so many personal touches throughout the home and boathouse. We felt right at home and super appreciated all the "extras" where Suzanne and Frank went above and beyond. We enjoyed going out in the kayaks and watching all the wildlife. It was just the retreat we needed to celebrate our 15yr anniversary. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful fall break on the lake. We have visited the lake for years and love the area. It was wonderful to have the option for a lake front property.

The place was gorgeous and our stay was outstanding. We are super grateful to have had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful place for Christmas. The house was equipped with every single thing we needed and more. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and anything you'd need for cooking and host a big family. We had a lot of fun fishing in the rain out by the lake. We absolutely loved the Christmas trees and holiday decor throughout the house. Every single nook and cranny was beautifully decorated and thought out. We had plenty of room to spread out, even on the day where it rained all day. The big, clear windows throughout the house gave us a breathtaking view of the surroundings and the closed in porch was a popular spot for us to hang out, listen to the rain and play Jenga. The donkeys, Taco and JuicyFruit are super sweet but we fell in love with Tula, the cute kitty. Our hosts were proactive and lovely. Thank you so much! Would definitely stay here again :)

This was our third trip back, and hopefully not our last. The house and property are perfect for a quiet getaway in the country. Our two young boys spent every minute fishing (and catching), playing in the woods, collecting firewood, building forts, making smores... everything but staring at some type of screen. Highly recommend!

We stay here due to working on a property in the area. After a long days work, its WONDERFUL to come back to a place that feels like "home". We sit on the front or back porch while enjoying a cold beverage and peace and quiet! There's a variety of things to do: fish in the pond, play games inside or outside or just sit by the firepit in the back yard!

This was my first time using Airbnb and it was everything I had hoped for and more. The hosts are incredible people, friendly, helpful and outgoing. We wanted a weekend getaway to relax and disconnect and we had that in spades. The home and area was incredible not to mention we had the best time fishing on the private lake. Which by the way the hosts provided two boats with trolling motors and were in excellent condition. The pictures are wonderful but when we got there it all felt like it was on a completely different level. Everything was gorgeous and perfect!! I’m eager to book another stay out here on their property in the spring! I would highly recommend the hosts and the property.

If you are looking for a perfect getaway this is it. Everything you need and more including lantern for night fishing, bait trap, cast net, extra battery's charged and ready to go for the boat. BBQ and bonfire pit, and the porch swing were some of my favorite things (charcoal and firewood provided). I will be renting this peace of paradise again. Hosts were super friendly, offered early check in and late check out.

Our Family stayed at the cottage for the weekend to take our son to The Polar Express. The Cottage is a very short drive to the train station. We can not say enough good things about Roland and his hospitality/cottage. The cottage sits on BEAUTIFULLY well kept land. You arrive on beautiful cobblestone, and you are greeted by the most inviting little cottage get away that we can not describe better than the feeling of the movie "The Holiday". As a family we have already made the decision to come back at least once a year. Roland was very quick to respond, and be of help. Roland let us borrow a kennel for our dog while we went to the train, he stopped by to drop off the kennel and him and his wife were some of the sweetest people. An absolute delight. The cottage was perfect. Pristine condition. Spacious bathroom, towel rack warmer. Homemade Fig muffins. Great tvs with movie streaming options. A fireplace, and stocked coffee. You can tell this cottage is well cared for by its owners.
