Heather's place is one of our top favorite Airbnbs to date! We love everything about it. The 180degree mountain view was just spectacular and hard to beat. The amazing view can be seen from every part of the apartment - bedroom, tv room, dining and even from the kitchen while I'm cooking. We also love the layout of the apartment and the large walk-in wardrobe right next to the spacious bathroom is a dream with plenty of clothes hanging space, chest of drawers and even a bed linen chest/bench. We also much appreciated having the washer/dryer. It's a great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle and to unwind and chill. We even saw wild turkeys and deers roaming her huge backyard against the mountain backdrop. Heather's apartment is very private even though attached to the main house and has all the amenities needed for even much longer stays which includes a spotless one car garage plus storage space for other outdoor adventure gear. Heather's apartment gets top marks!

Die Unterkunft von Lauren ist sehr schön und makellos sauber. Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Leider ist tagsüber momentan eine Baustelle die etwas Lärm macht. Wir waren viel unterwegs, daher hat uns das tagsüber nicht so sehr gestört. Kommunikation war auch sehr gut. Hat alles gepasst, wir würden wieder buchen. This was our second visit to “Home Away From Home” and it perfectly describes how we felt staying there. It is comfortable and peaceful and just allowed us a wonderful restful week. Nancy and Dave are great hosts and communicated often to be sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is decorated so beautifully and Nancy provides a well stocked kitchen to use. Loved having pleasant conversations with Nancy during our visits. Certainly will return again on our next return to Maine

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall ambiance of the apartment. This is an old building with uneven floors but I loved the feel of the place. Having an updated bathroom was great, especially the heated tile floors! The views of the river were great. I felt right at home.

Very nice place. It was very clean and cozy. If I had to give a few minor nitpicks, it would be as follows: chairs were wobbly, shower was a bit cold, mattress was a little hard. But those are just nitpicks. Overall, I enjoyed the location and would gladly stay again.

The apartment was exactly as listed. Clean and comfortable and located near many shops and restaurants. Also very close to Lost Valley Ski Area which is great for beginners and families.

Great place to stay, love the scenery at Cathy’s place. The pictures doesn’t do it justice everything was beautiful. Both her and Mr Toby were very pleasant and knowledgeable about any questions I had during my stay. It’s a lovely apartment I highly recommend it to anyone I’ll definitely be staying again next time I’m in the area.

Lovely, cozy, and warm despite the cold weekend! The communication was perfect. The roads were plowed early in the morning after the snow so getting in and out was no trouble. Would definitely stay again!

Extremely peaceful and relaxing! The rental is more like a home than a cottage/camp with its recent tasteful, pleasing, and very functional renovations (the flooring was well done and looked great; the mini-split system made it very comfortable even when it was in the 90’s; and, the new furnishings were attractive and comfortable). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

I can't say enough great things about my stay. very spacious and accommodating. It felt like my home away from home. I will definitely be staying here for any future visit. It's far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful and serene yet close enough to the city that you won't have to travel too far. The host made me feel very welcome in her home, and was very quick to respond to any questions I had.

Awesome after Christmas getaway with our 4 adult children. Plenty of room to be together and apart. Appreciated the well stocked kitchen and plethora of towels! Old school fun with the many game choices. Beautiful sunrises over the lake and enjoyed numerous walks ON the lake. Will be sure to recommend to others looking for a lovely, comfortable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The house was very clean and well stocked with all that we needed to enjoy our winter break (especially appreciated the coffee offering). This was a great home base for our ski days at Mt Abram - will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Jeremiah was a terrific host and his place was very comfy and relaxing! We felt right at home!

Our stay at Margaret's home was very relaxing and comfortable. Pristine bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The lake view was so much more than we anticipated. It was serene, peaceful, and breathtaking.
