Beautiful location, beautiful place, and beautiful host! This was better than expected!! Even though the loft is right in the middle of town, it was still quiet for the most part. There was a band playing in the warehouse next door, but they wrapped up at a decent weekend hour and it was cozy and quiet once more. The location could not be better. Lucretia is a fantastic host!! Absolutely recommend and absolutely will be back!

This beautiful apartment is a hidden gem in the heart of the historic Downtown area of Talladega! Sunny and Rusty have truly captured the soul of this home in every detail. The entire space is ample for relaxing including a formal parlor that has a fairy tale library feel that you never want to leave. The den has a comfortable sleeper sofa and TV for gathering to watch an evening movie. The space continues with a full, well appointed kitchen with numerous luxury touches throughout. The owners have crafted a true "at home" feel with every detail. The hall bath has a huge claw foot tub for soaking that further draws you into that time period of days gone by. The Master Bedroom is located off of the den area with more fairy tale feels such as the draped bed with luxurious linens, an extremely comfortable mattress, and a beautiful en suite. This home is not another Interstate stopover, but a true experience. The church bells from across the street are, well heavenly. Highly recommend!!!

This was exactly what we needed to overnight while cycling Chief Ladiga and Silver Comet trails. It backs right onto the trail. Bed, kitchen, shower, and space in the living room for the bikes. Safe, quiet, and easy to find. Close to Dollar General and Pinhoti Pizza.

We enjoyed our mornings drinking coffee overlooking the beautiful and peaceful lake. The kitchen had everything we needed to allow us to make formula for our infant. They provided us a pack n play as well! The freezer had plenty of room to freeze all our ice packs to keep her bottles cold out on the lake. We love how close it is to Little Bridge for an easy place to eat.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, ground-level apartment. The location is only a few minutes from family so perfect for us! The apartment is a wonderfully peaceful respite after a day spent with a house full of rambunctious grandkids! Super clean and fresh with convenient parking just steps from the entrance and Wendy is the ultimate host making sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait for our next visit!

Mark was very friendly and I loved the privacy and comfort of the room. I was chasing a rare species of bird in the Talladega National Forest, and this was a convenient staging point in my quest. Mark has put a lot of thought into organizing the space, especially making the Wi-Fi password easily available and providing soaps, towels and everything I needed.

We fish tournaments across the nation. I always worry about space to park truck and boat. The pictures were accurate. I was able to drive in and out without worrying about tight parking. The place was clean. I worry about theft because I have $15k of things in my boat. I had no issues. I will be back. It’s central to Smith and Guntersville.

We loved this place! It was the perfect place for our family Thanksgiving gathering! Beautiful home, lovely yard and dock area, peaceful surroundings! The grandkids loved the fishing, and the big kids loved the home theater for watching football! Great home layout with many spots for small group conversation and fellowship. Absolutely wonderful screened porch and fire pit area. Good bedroom setup as well. Lisa was very helpful and responsive. All of us really enjoyed our time together here. We would most definitely come here again!

The home was spacious and perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets for the chilly weather. Our kids especially loved the variety of board games, which kept them entertained. If we’re ever in the area again, we’d love to stay here!

Close to everything right were we needed to be and the perfect size.

A wedding brought us to the area, and Dawns place was perfectly located!! We loved the spacious yard, quiet environment, and wonderful amenities. The fire pit was much needed since we were visiting on a cold weekend in December!
