Spent a day in Ocho Rios with my family of 6 visiting Dunn’s River falls, and needed a place to stay overnight as we had a flight to catch the next day in Mobay. I booked at a different air bnb in a different gated community that went really bad, as we entered that house it was taken over by ants that my 2 young sons freaked out about and refused to stay there. So I was left without a suitable accommodation at almost 6 pm at night when I searched and came across this listing hosted by Janet and luckily it was available. I booked and it was ready for me within 20 minutes. Janet was a great host, the place was modern, very big screen TVs in all the rooms, locks and keys for each rooms in case travelling with a group, garbage bins everywhere, good size private backyard for kiddies to play or private couple time, AC kicks in instantly with cold air, separate beach towels provided, access to laundry to wash and dry my beach stuff, comfy bed and linens, and as my kids said…. NO ants/bugs!!!

Being my first time at an air bnb , I must say I enjoyed every moment , the host was very responsive and the location remarkable , would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay in this accommodation. It’s a two minutes walk to a fantastic beach and the large pool. The accommodation offers a great kitchen and all appliances you would need. It is a quiet area. We really enjoyed it. Communication with the host was very easy and efficient

This is our second consecutive 3 month visit to this property. David is an amazing host! The location is unbeatable. A very short walk to Ocho Rios Bay Beach. Everything that you need is within walking distance. This includes grocery stores, restaurants, ATM's, etc. Margaritaville is directly across the street in a complex that has a number of restaurants, gift shops, tour operators, etc. We will definitely be returning to this property for another long term stay! Our stay at Cheerful Tropical was excellent absolutely perfect ! The location was ideal for exploring the city ,the space was spotless and beautifully decorated and Lophain was incredibly responsive to our questions .We especially loved the comfortable bed and the well stocked kitchen .I Highly Recommend!! Am looking forward to staying here again in the future.This place is located in Portmore St Catherine at Caribbean Estate Community,security is excellent no one will enter the complex without proper permission . Everything was amazing! Cleveland and Janet are outstanding hosts, both very friendly and genuine people. Cleveland offers rides for a very reasonable fees and had great suggestions for things to do in the area. The area is gorgeous and as a solo female traveller I can’t recommend this area enough in terms of safety. The locals are chatty but always kind. This is totally beyond the hosts control but the area isn’t super quiet at night with bars playing music until around 11 to midnight and animals in the area, so if you’re a light sleeper I’d suggest earplugs :) overall it didn’t have a negative impact on my stay because it just felt like part of the flavour of the area. The value was amazing, the cabin is simple, clean, and beautiful, it’s a perfect spot for those looking to slow down and to get to know a beautiful part of Jamaica with a vibrant culture.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Bamboo Treehouse Great Huts Resort ! The treehouse was beyond amazing – perched in a beautiful, serene spot with breathtaking views that made every moment feel magical. The design and atmosphere were perfect, creating a cozy and immersive experience in nature. The staff and host went above and beyond, always friendly and incredibly hospitable, making sure we felt welcomed and cared for. Our Airbnb host was fantastic – responsive, kind, and truly dedicated to ensuring we had a memorable stay. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique and rustic getaway in Jamaica!

Niambi’s place is definitely a hidden gem. It’s super rare to find an Airbnb in Jamaica with a swimmable, uncrowded beachfront that isn’t exorbitantly expensive; Niambi’s place is the exception. The house is right on the ocean in Long Bay, a quiet town that’s a 20 minute drive from Port Antonio attractions. We spent so much time on the deck, enjoying the ocean view, eating meals outside, watching the sunset, and stargazing. I swam in the ocean, and the beach was so secluded and peaceful… 99% of the time, we had the entire coastline in both directions to ourselves. Local residents were friendly, and it was nice to be in a place that wasn’t oversaturated with tourists. We enjoyed some great food at local restaurants and drove to Port Antonio in our rental car to explore the area. Niambi was very responsive to messages, and her local contact Monica made check-in and check-out easy. This stay was the perfect way to spend the last half of our vacation before driving back to Kingston.

We had such a lovely stay! I could sit on the balcony for hours blissfully watching the ocean waves. While directly off the main thoroughfare, we barely heard much noise. Very quiet within the apartment complex with very few people around. We enjoyed the private beach on the property but didn’t swim. Just a heads up that it’s very rustic so wear thick soled shoes. But a pleasant place to sit and ponder life or meditation. For swimming, we enjoyed Dosha Beach (locals call it coconut grove beach), a short drive from the apartment. The Jamaican owners charge ~$2 US dollars for adults and less for children. Bring your own chairs! And grab a patty from the store near the top of the road down to the beach. There’s a bar at the bottom of the road. For food within walking distance of the apartment, we enjoyed Delly’s! Nice folks and good prices.

My family and I absolutely enjoyed our time here. The apartment is on the ground floor with gorgeous views of the ocean, the place was peaceful, clean and close to several restaurants, beaches and activities. I would highly recommend to others.

This is my fourth time staying at palmview estate townhouse. my stay at palmview estate townhouse Mammee bay ochie Rios St Ann Jamaica was absolutely amazing the host is truly very responsive the apartment is very clean. and the house is very beautiful and the apartment is central located to all the attractions once again my experience at this beautiful apartment is a memorable experience and can't wait to visit again thank you. We enjoyed the location and condo. It was clean and confortable. The pool was nice and refreshing. Amazing views from the balcony!

Sharon has a great Airbnb villa in St Ann that sits beachfront inside an amenity filled community that looks and feels like it’s from a top travel magazine. She is very friendly and responsive making sure that her guests have a great overall experience. Michelle who works on Sharon’s team served as the house manager and chef during our stay and was fantastic at making us feel right at home and her home cooked meals were some of the best. Would highly recommend for any group or family looking to have a great tropical vacation in beautiful Jamaica!!

Chillin is quaint and quiet with the most amazing beach, 2 mins walk from the property. Symone is a 5 star host and is exceptional. The breeze on the balcony is also very soothing and the design and colour scheme delightful. Lester, the security guard is very polite and helpful. Overall a 5 star stay. Thanks Chillin for renewing the body of an exhausted female professional. Symone, you are the gold standard of hosting.

Vacationing at Timelesss was an exceptional experience. Kerry-Ann was incredibly informative, quick to respond, and made the stay seamless. The house was secure, located in a safe and quiet area, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities needed to feel at home. During my stay, I enjoyed surfing at Jamnesia, which had friendly staff and a great vibe, and swimming at the nearby Bob Marley Beach. This Airbnb truly felt like a home away from home, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again whenever I’m in Kingston, Jamaica. Highly recommend!

Perfect Place for a relaxed time. the lower balcony above the Cliff was my favorite Place. somewhere there was a shady Place always. we were a Party of 6, with 3 girls at around 20 years of age. there were ample spots to have privacy. the house could have hosted 2 more people in a separate room. Diana, Clive and the night guard have been most friendly . there were not many mosquitos. with vapes and coils for the outside we could sit outside all night long. we did not miss anything. to go to the beach (5 min. drive) or other places, a car is mandatory. we had 2 to provide options. Now we are in the South and miss our home away from home, already. thx Penelope !

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was well furnished and equipped and spotlessly clean. We are from the UK so it was nice to watch BBC news (there are many other channels) on the living room TV. There is direct and free access to the lovely beach in front of the resort. We had some questions and Stafford responded immediately and helpfully. Stafford fully deserves his 5 star rating.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at Colin’s place! He was incredibly responsive and proactive in communication, making sure we had everything we needed. He provided contact details for a great driver, which was really helpful. The apartment is in a lovely complex with a pool and a grill by the bar that serves great local food – highly recommend the steamed fish in particular! Would definitely stay again.

What can I say? Truly a hidden gem. This was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever stayed on The Yard. The ocean was beautiful, the river refreshing, and the reefs a bonus. Caution for snorkelers, the ocean is quite shallow (3-5 feet at most) so if you plan to visit the reefs, be very careful to not disturb the environment. The caretaker Pablo was an utter DELIGHT! He was informative about plants, trees, or anything else you wanted to know about the area. He also guided us to a place on the property to enter the river so we could float down into the ocean. It was relaxing and magical. If you plan on cooking for yourself the kitchen is well appointed. We made enchiladas, lasagna, and even focaccia bread from scratch. We also enlisted Christine for meals. She was an excellent cook and overall welcoming and loving person. Also, probably the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. We had them do our laundry mid week and it was line dried and super fresh. 10/10 would recommend.

I absolutely loved all 10 days I stayed. My room walked right out to the pool. There is a gate you can leave from and have access to a beautiful beach next door. Everyone was so friendly. I brought my 13 year old daughter and she was always busy doing something!

It was such a wonderful experience being at Susanna’s apartment. She was Very Friendly and informative! I was Touched to find a beautiful card and bottle of wine that was left for me to celebrate my birthday, what a pleasant surprise! I left right at home being in the apartment and my family and I enjoyed the pool. I would Highly recommend this property and would most certainly rent this apartment again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Steven's place. Bit of a cliche but the photos don't do it justice. Much bigger, really quiet, amazing views, clean, comfortable and great location. Steven was also just a great host, relaxed, easy, friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a great stay. Will definitely make a return visit.
