Alissa's home was beautiful and relaxing. The views are amazing. Even on the rainy days, we were able to watch dolphins from the comfort of inside. The decks are wonderful. We watched the fog and sunrise over the bay in the morning and the sunsets at night. If you are a stargazer, you will really enjoy the lack of light pollution. We spent hours outside at night watching shooting stars and Venus set into the Gulf of Mexico. We made meals in the well stocked kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom was amazingly comfortable. Alissa was very communicative and such a wonderful host.

We had an awesome time at Phillips's place. We loved the yard and the upper porch for our dog. Shuffleboard game was awesome! We walked on the beach 3X a day! Bonus was Scallop Republic right across the road! 5 stars all the way!! Would definitely stay here again!

Easy to find, very cozy, and home like vibe! I fell in love with the city around the air bnb I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to visit the area.

Great spot for a quick winter beach getaway. The weather ended up colder than expected, but we were cozy and comfortable in the house and could see the ocean from our warm spots inside, even on the afternoons that we chose not to get out to the beach. The house and furnishings weren't lavish, but the unit was clearly well cared for, and we had everything we needed for a restful time away.

Adrian’s home was very cute, cozy, clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The view was awesome. We spent lots of time out on the screen porch, and walking on the beach. Also spent time exploring Port Saint Joe and Apalachicola. Both cute towns. Found a group of friendly pickleball players at the park in Port Saint Joe. Cool windy week, unfortunately, but we still had lots of fun.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We had our morning coffee on the deck off the master bedroom watching the sunrise and enjoyed winding down listening to the waves from the beach at night. It’s very peaceful and the beach was uncrowded.. If you are looking for a comfortable place to unplug and relax this is it. Brooke always responded timely to any questions we had.. This is my 2nd stay at Tidewater Retreat.. I enjoyed it both times

Great little beach house right near a quiet, not crowded beach- very peaceful and serene! There are a few small stores and restaurants nearby but it is good to stop on Port St Joe for groceries before heading here. It’s run by Coastal Joe vacation rentals and some of the check in communication was initially confusing but they were very friendly and responsive and made sure we had all the info we needed. One thing that could be improved is earlier communication about a last minute security deposit taken, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. Overall a great stay!

The kitchen was equipped with lots of appliances such as coffee maker, blender, and toaster. They have chairs, umbrellas, and toys for the beach so you dont have to bring any if you dont want to. The golf cart was a great bonus and many options and availability of beach accesses. The beach is like a lake. Its not blue but its still very peaceful and great for little kids because you dont have to worry about the waves knocking them down. Its not over crowded either. If your elder the sand to the water isnt long and its easy to get to it from the wood walkways after a nice golf cart ride. The laundry is on the 2nd floor. The 1st community pool is huge and very nice. It has clean bathrooms and a nice pavilion. You could walk to it. The 2nd pool has a small playground and you have to drive there. Overall it was a nice place to stay with a big family.
