If I had an issue or question the phone numbers provided were very responsive. Lovely house. Big and spacious. Great views from ours. Nice warm temperature inside. The hot tub might not be hot on the first day of book in though.

As a multi-generational group of eleven - ages ranged from 3 years to 84 - we had a wonderful few days in The Manor farmhouse. Upon arrival there was a warm welcome from Andy. The Manor is a friendly, comfortable, welcoming house that wraps itself around you. It's very homely. There’s an amazingly well-equipped kitchen and it was a joy to stand at the island in the conservatory prepping meals while looking out at the wonderful view. Everyone slept well in lovely bedrooms which are beautifully appointed. An amazing swimming pool and a games room provided fun for children and adults. Feeding the animals with Ruth on the Sunday morning of our stay was a high point for the children. A relaxing, restful time was had by everyone – The Manor is a truly wonderful place which gave us all some lovely memories. Ruth and Andy are providing something very special – their high standards are clearly reflected in the accommodation and all that is on offer at Woodlands Manor Farm.

Really lovely lodge, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and the layout is brilliant ! A few very minor things that would be useful is just perhaps a little welcome pack with some milk / coffee/ butter and maybe a mini jam/ biscuits and in the bathrooms a sachet of shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel / soap perhaps. Just for late arrivers… as we were after a very, very, long journey. We only had one night there sadly and would definately like a longer stay in this beautiful place but it is such a long journey for us. Highly recommended though !

Really enjoyed my stay at High park barns, it was just as described, in a beautiful and convenient location. The barn itself was spotlessly clean and spacious. Would highly recommend

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

Nice little chalet. It's a bit of a walk down to the sea (we didn't walk it because we were told the recent rain had washed out some of the path so we drove to a nearby beach).

Wow. What a stunning place to stay Beautiful house. Amazing grounds and scenery. Pool tennis court and bar with games room was a great addition. Alistair was a fabulous host. Very friendly most informative and a genuinely nice guy. Would highly recommend the clay pigeon shoot on the lawn which Alistair organised. 10 out of 10 will definitely return in the near future. Thankyou Alistair for an awesome weekend!

Absolutely perfect! There was everything you needed, all the essentials were there, for a stress free stay. Nicola was very friendly, kept good communications and gave lots of instructions on how to find the property. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and tidy . The downstairs bedroom with bathroom was especially good for my elderly mum. We appreciated the scones milk and bread that was ready for us. Honestly, it was perfect, lovely to be able to walk to the town, beach and coastal walk. Nicola was so lovely. Thank you, would recommend to anybody.

This is an immaculate home from home. It’s very well equipped, beyond expectations for an Air B&B. We arrived to find milk, tea, coffee, cookies. It’s quiet but within walking distance of cafés and restaurants and an easy drive to Saunton Sands which is a stunning beach. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely return. Unfortunately I left my laptop behind and didn’t discover this until we had got home. Lynda responded to my message immediately and arranged for a neighbour to go in and collect it for which I was extremely grateful! Thank you so much.

a beautiful home: everything had been done with care. Felt very much at home there because the atmosphere of the house is so homely, and yet also elegant. Beautiful views from the house. Tricia made us feel very welcome. And the location is so lovely for walks and relaxing.

Really lovely place, much larger inside than it looks from the outside. Well arranged to make the most of the space and very comfortable. In a great location, less than 15mins drive to the best of North Devon’s beaches - Woolacombe, Putsborough, Croyde and Saunton. Lovely touch that a parking pass for Putsborough was included with the cottage. Super clean and easy to keep clean. Richard was great at responding to any queries and friendly from booking to check out. Area is quiet and very safe. We would 100% stay again. Thank you for a wonderful break with the dogs, none of us wanted to leave!!

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

Hallagather Farmhouse was a very successful find for our family Christmas week. It fitted us all in nicely - 6 adults, 4 pre-teen children & 2 dogs - all had lovely bedrooms with an en-suite or dedicated bathroom - plus one downstairs. Plenty of open space downstairs and a huge kitchen with the Aga keeping it warm all the time. The wood-burning stoves kept us all cosy when not exploring the short walk down to the beach and Combe Barton Inn, the coastal path, Tintagel, Padstow & the local beaches etc. Becky provided a Christmas tree and was a good host. I'd thoroughly recommend Hallagather - it certainly suited our three families & our pets!

we absolutely loved our stay at Steve's place. we were a group of 4 adults with 4 kids (2x 1 year olds and 2x 4 year olds). Steve was very responsive and helpful in advance and checkin was very easy. we were also able to check in from 2 hours earlier than listed. the house is well located just by the main row of shops and restaurants in Croyd and has parking for 2 cars. we'd definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at the house. Really comfortable and spacious. We were 2 x families of 5 plus a dog and the house was perfect. A short walk into Bude which is lovely. Very convenient to be near Morrisons and the shops. Thanks Anna and Sally, we hope to return one day.

Stayed for a weekend here for my birthday and was absolutely stunning. Toni was thoughtful and kind and left a happy birthday banner and kindly gifted me a card and chocolate - thank you again. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and felt like being at home. Toni was able to help and answer with anything that we needed help with Will definetly be coming back in the future. We had a great stay at Priory House celebrating a 30th birthday. Wonderful, large, private property with plenty to do and everything you need! Felt very spacious even with 16 people and Richard was really responsive throughout. We will definitely look to book this property again for any future large gatherings!

A fabulous play to stay. We loved the house and its feeling. Great attention to detail, nice style, many plants, had all things needed in kitchen. lovely bright garden, very good communication and smooth experience. Really loved it,

An excellent base for our needs (4 adults and 2 children) being close to the Tarka Trail. Very clean and comfortable. Our only criticism would be that the number of glasses and bowls was limited.

Beautiful house with plenty of space for 2 families of 5 staying. Hot tub was a lovely addition and the views were beautiful. Would love to return one day!

We loved our stay here; the home was fantastic. Our group consisted of six adults and three young kids. From the kids' perspective, the house was amazing for playing hide and seek, monster chasing, and a huge added bonus was the two Shetland ponies in the backyard. They named the ponies Isabella and Glacier (after characters from Unicorn Academy). They loved the chance to get up close and pet them. The kids also enjoyed pizza from La Bocca (would recommend) while watching the amazing sunsets in the evenings. We were delighted to see them draw the sunset on a canvas using pastels. Overall, we enjoyed the place so much. Cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was great, and with the open-plan kitchen, everyone got involved, making our time together really special. From the perspective of cold water dippers, the adventurous among us were swimming in the sea every day in March from various locations. They were spoiled for choice, as there are so many options.
