Stayed for the weekend with my husband and daughter. House was clean and just beautiful. I appreciated independent temperature control for each sleeping area, and despite the chill - and a wall of windows - we were cozy! Too cold to go out on the lake but we did enjoy the hot tub! And our daughter loves exploring the creek bed. Area around the property is uninspiring but very close to downtown Waco for a visit (shops, silos, etc). Look forward to returning!

The cabin and ranch were very nice and matched the description. We arrived after dark to check-in and it was a little difficult to find our exact cabin as there are several like it but they do have signs showing the cabin names outside each one. Once inside we found the cabin was comfortable and matched the listing. We had one problem the first night with getting hot water but that was fixed by the next morning. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. To note, the only seating options in the living room area are a couch/futon that can seat up to 3 and 2 bar stools and there are no tables or surfaces outside of the kitchen counters so finding places to set things can be difficult. There is a long road to get to the ranch that is paved but does have numerous dips and potholes. Finally, the stairs to the loft area are steep. The ranch does offer activities that can be booked directly through their website, we booked a couple and overall enjoyed the stay.

The house was clean and very well kept! Everything was labeled and easy to find. There were so many amenities we had plenty of room to spread out and all do things we enjoyed! The kids loved the tree house and playing in the backyard. We loved the hot tub, and coffee on the porch! We will definitely be back!

This cabin was exactly like the description and was an excellent place to stay also was easy to check in and out. We would recommend this a good place to stay.

“El Álamo” es una cabaña muy linda y acogedora, nos encanto que cuidan cada detalle para hacerla un rinconcito especial en el campo. Mi esposo y yo fuimos el fin de semana para celebrar nuestro aniversario, y este sitio fue muy lindo y perfecto para lo que queríamos: TRANQUILIDAD! Escuchar y ver a los cardinales en el árbol junto a la cabaña, poder observar los ciervos y antílopes en frente al acercarse el atardecer, alimentar a los burritos, disfrutar del paisaje, en fin! Cada detalle hizo que nuestra estadía fuera espectacular! Kelli fue eficaz al responder mis preguntas, además que la recomendación de Country Spring (un viñedo cercano) fue muy acertada, fuimos allí y disfrutamos una ocasión especial. En fin, recomiendo al 100% este hospedaje si quieres disfrutar de unos días con tranquilidad y en armonía.

We completely enjoyed our stay here! The place was beautiful, peaceful, and clean! It was a fantastic place to go and relax. The lake was still a bit cold but we enjoyed walks and drives in the surrounding towns. We loved grilling each night, the fire pit, and relaxing in the hot tub and looking at the stars. Our interactions with Evolve were pretty meaningless. They seem to just be a management company and don’t know the details of the property. However, the owner engaged with us to give us check in instructions. Now having contact information, when we had questions we just reached out to him and he was always very responsive and helpful. Many times we arrive and think “wow this isn’t what I thought we were getting” in a negative way. However, with this place, it was at least as good if not even better than the pictures and descriptions. All we needed to do was show up ready to enjoy! We highly recommend this place for a nice “get away from it all” trip.

Beautiful private space, can be lots of fun if visited with friends and families occupying the other houses.

Thank you for a beautiful night away from the city!! Clear signs led us from the main road straight to our retreat. We stayed in a cozy little nest called the Sunflower Cabin! There was plenty of entertainment available including a nice TV, board games, cards, and puzzles. Well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and hot chocolate (plus marshmallows) too! Vijay even left half a bottle of white wine for us in the fridge - which paired perfectly with the hot tub on the patio. Can't stop thinking about the fabulous bathroom setup (HUGE walk-in shower, standalone tub, towel steamer, and complimentary robes). The bed was so comfortable, I hardly remember closing my eyes. Vijay has perfectly captured all the comforts of home while also ensuring a 10 (nay, 11) out of 10 spa experience. We'd love to stay again (we'll test out that fire pit)!

Enjoyed our tiny home on a hill in the middle of nowhere! The sunrises and sunsets were unmatched! We loved that we could take our mini schnauzers and enjoy a little serenity for a couples getaway. Would love to come back and do more porch swinging and cooking out. Thank you for a great weekend!

We really enjoyed the little cabin! We had a great time. Everything we needed was right there. The people were fantastic and Buck was outstanding. We will be absolutely looking forward to staying with him again

This was a true hidden gem we found! The hosts were very communicative, from booking, pre-arrival, to checkout. The cabin was very well appointed with many thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was clean and we enjoyed the quiet secluded countryside. Would recommend for anyone looking to escape the city for the country!

Our stay at Kim's place was terrific. Very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. We got to watch the deer coming up to feed by the front porch. Kim was flexible with check-in time, allowing us seniors time for our afternoon nap! The property was as described and very clean. Plenty of towels and dishes. Overall, a great stay for six retirees. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jon's cabin. The property was very clean, with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. The location was perfect for walking our dogs and had a big fenced-in area. The host was very responsive to our inquiries. This was the perfect getaway for us and our dogs, cozy and secluded with everything we needed for an extended stay. Would highly recommend

We found this the perfect little get-away place for a 4-day escape. It had everything we needed and more. It was peaceful and comfortable and the host (Nannette) responded quickly should we have any questions. Read her helpful instruction booklet on the coffee table when you first arrive, it will tell you everything you need to know about the place and the area. Then just relax and enjoy.

For anyone attending or hosting an event at the Stonebridge Wedding and Event venue in Blum, this is the place to stay. It can sleep up to 9, has lots of linens and towels and is just lovely. Well decorated, the kitchen was the best stocked with lots of items for cooking/baking at ‘home’. We were sad it wasn’t cool enough to take advantage of the fire pit outside.

We loved staying in this cabin! My kids really enjoyed sleeping in the loft. The location was perfect for exploring Dinosaur Valley State Park and the Glen Rose area. The cabin had all the amenities we needed and the host even left a small treat to help enjoy the campfire circle. We would love to visit again!

James provided a great place for our adventure weekend. The place was way better than expected. I would stay again.

My husband and I Spent a few days in Waco to celébrate his birthday. Checking in was fast and easy. Upong entering the house we were met with a birthday sign and some balloons which i thought was very thoughtful off 😁. Kerry is fast at responding to your questions and needs. The house met our expectations and it was perfect for the 2 of us! We definitely recomend this awesome place 100%.

Exactly as described! Cara is very responsive and anticipated our needs, she also has a hair dryer! Bathroom is small, but the bed is nice and soft!

Was a great place to stay. The location is very peaceful and the house was very clean and comfortable. The whole process from check in to check out was very easy and smooth! Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The house was beautiful. You could tell the host put so much thought into the decorations and amenities. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with supplies. The bed was super comfy and she even had a heated blanket for me to use since it was so cold during my stay! She was also very responsive. I would for sure stay here again and recommend it to others!

This cabin was cozy and conveniently located to our event we were attending. Very clean so a plus in my book! Unfortunately We didn’t get a chance to venture out and explore we just needed a place to lay our heads and shower. Host is very responsive. All good things 😊

It was amazing!! Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed it!! We went to the state park and camped then decided it was way too hot so we looked and found this place!! She was very friendly with it being last min! We really enjoyed the AC! lol definitely will be back!
