Beautiful place great location not far from the Local shopping Centre and Lake’s not too far away highly recommend his place if you’re staying in Ballarat

Had a most wonderful stay here - the pictures don't do it justice! The space is absolutely amazing with huge windows looking out into gorgeous bush and the rock formations in the distance. It was peaceful, full of wildlife and an incredibly lovely space to spend a weekend, we definitely wanted to stay longer! Kitchen was well equipped, and had a spacious fridge for lots of people's groceries. We made use of the outdoor dining area which was divine to spend mornings and afternoons, and the living room, though looking small, easily accommodated 5 adults for movie nights 😊 Jane was responsive and graciously allowed us a later check-out, and was there for any questions we had. The only thing that could have slightly been improved was the cleanliness, the bed quilts a bit dirty and the house a bit dusty, but nothing that got in the way of our stay overall.

Amazing place and great host. It was very late when we arrived at Cath's place and found it hard to locate the house in the dark. But Cath was too nice to jump out of the bed and help us find it and even offered her help to carry our bags and stuff inside. we felt very welcomed and had a wonderful time. Had a great time with Cath's dogs too. They were very friendly and playful. Definitely recommend to anyone wants some peaceful time.

Kerri has created a charming 'home away from home', the place is so beautifully appointed with period details and cozy touches. She thoughtfully prepared items for breakfast and ensured us a comfortable stay for our family. Thank you for a special & memorable stay !

It is about 2km walk from the centre of Halls Gap, which is exactly what we love! Right near the Boronia peak trail entry. A last minute decision to stay overnight in Bendigo found us booking Lena’s gorgeous house; it was all very easy, the house spotless, containing everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had an incredible stay at Liz’s place. The location was incredible and so peaceful, we saw so much wildlife from the balcony including kangaroos! The space was spotless and had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

Although our stay was cut short due to a family emergency we had a wonderful time staying with Kurt and Nanette , the room was cleaned to the highest standard and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived at the property, The kids felt spoiled when they found some chocolates that Kurt had kindly hidden in the living room for them. We look forward to staying with Kurt and Nanette again in the future. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone , great value and superb hospitality. Thanks again Kurt and Nanette🙂

A beautiful house located on a quiet street in Halls gap. My family absolutely enjoyed the views from the backyard with lots of kangaroos at evening hours. Highly recommended for families!

A very nice stay in Halls Gap. The unit was small but neat and tidy. Lovely to feed the birds on the balcony and not far from the main street. Located back off the main road too, which meant not too much traffic noise. The air con is quite noisy and it was hot over the weekend and there were no fans available to use in the bedrooms. Otherwise a lovely stay, there were even apples and slices to enjoy as well. Would recommend!

Best AirBnB on our Australian trip!! Hosts are such kind, friendly people. They gave us ideas for Grampian National Park walks etc. Freshly baked bread, homemade jam, relish, fresh fruit and farm eggs - such a treat! Thank you Deb. Highlight was getting up for a spectacular sunrise - and seeing a cheeky fox sneak in to eat mulberries...then we watched a wild kangaroo jump the farm fence snd bounce off into the bush. Sunset over the Grampians was also beautiful. A cute cottage with everything we needed . Loved our 2 nights here. Thank you

Amazing Airbnb! Can’t recommend highly enough. Ella has restored the A-Frame with so much care, attention to detail and creativity. You instantly feel at home, with high quality fixtures and finishes, and ready to relax with thoughtful furniture, bedding and a beautiful peaceful location. Ella has curated the space to feel cosy and comfortable, with the perfect amount of furniture, homely comforts (quality of a good hotel) and a very clean and considered presentation. The kitchen is very well thought out, which made cooking so enjoyable. The bathroom is beautiful, with floor and wall tiles and a deep bathtub. The photos absolutely do not do the space justice. Ella has an excellent communicator and host. You can tell how much care and love her and her partner have poured into the place.

An incredibly peaceful and comfortable place to stay for my intense week of fieldwork - each morning I woke feeling refreshed and each evening I was able to unwind with ease.

We had a super nice stay at the C & C Park! The cabin had everything we needed, and it was so nice to relax on the small terrace at the end of the day. We liked the surroundings too. Stawell is a cute town :)

Fryer’s Hut is nestled among the native trees, in the historical gold-rush village of Fryerstown. Carla provided very detailed and helpful instructions and thorough directions, with photographs, which ensure getting there and settling in was a breeze. The Hut was in immaculate condition, with an extremely comfortable bed, a huge bath, and grazing kangaroos and horses just outside, sharing the stunning scenery and surrounds. I absolutely recommend this delightful accommodation, and Carla, the perfect host, to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxing getaway within a few kilometres of Castlemaine. We will gladly stay at Fryer’s Hut the next time we visit, if it’s not booked out! ☺️

A beautiful place designed for a couples retreat that allowed us to do some recharging while feeling in a heavenly home. We really appreciated the design of the place, and all the luxury goodies Yvette left for us to enjoy during the stay

This is such a lovely place to stay…..simple, unusual. Really cosy and comfortable and with everything (and more) that you need. The arrangement of the three little gumnuts along the curve of the verandah gave a feeling of drifting easily between “inside” and “outside”. And meals out on the verandah, with the birds, were a joy. The location worked well for me as I was in Newstead for several days over the Folk Festival and I appreciated the easy ten minute stroll from Gumnuts on the edge of town into the centre. Dimity is a friendly and responsive host and has created a really special spot for the rest of us to enjoy…..Thankyou!
