We had a wonderful stay here, The surroundings are beautiful, the place is clean and has everything you could need. The outside space is great and once we had the fire going the hot tub soon warmed up. A great weekend and a great host. Thank you!

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

A perfect stay that exceeded our expectations and was even better than the photos. Angela was responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our Christmas was one to remember. I can’t recommend this house and its surroundings highly enough!

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Jess is a thoughtful and accommodating host. The cottage itself was full of character and well-equipped, making it the perfect getaway for my friends and me. What truly stood out was the extra care Jess took to ensure my comfort, as I have a disability. She went above and beyond, even replacing the banisters to make the space more accessible. This level of attention and kindness made a huge difference and truly set this stay apart.

We had a great week in Baldock at Malex's beautiful home! Lots of space and 2.5 modern bathrooms with big tub was nice. Easy train to London and Cambridge with a short walk to/from the station. Plenty of nice town & nature walks around Baldock. Make sure to check out Day's Bakery for fresh-baked pastries and sandwiches. Malex was very kind to meet us on arrival to show us around the property, but respects your privacy and is available only if you need help with anything. WiFi was solid, kitchen well appointed and modern, heating warm in chilly February, comfortable furnishings, laundry in-home if needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommended as the perfect base for exploring Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Thank you Malex! Gary

A really affordable and cosy find in a lovely part of the country. Perfect for a weekend away while close enough to Cambridge if you want to stay connected.

We had a wonderful stay in this family-friendly and quiet area. The flat is clean and well-maintained, and the host was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The large Waitrose within walking distance is very convenient. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no lift in the building, which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage. Overall, a great place to stay with no complaints.

Sharon’s place was fantastic. It’s located in a very peaceful and quiet village. Its worth noting that there are no amenities in the village, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing :) I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day 2024 and what a find this cabin was. As the listing states, there's no TV but that was fine with us and we spent a lovely couple of days enjoying countryside walks (our dog loved it!), conversation, board games and reading. It was wonderfully peaceful and we all felt refreshed from the break. The only very minor issue was that there is only a combi microwave and a 2-ring induction hob. I brought along an air fryer/oven so was able to knock out our Christmas dinner pretty well but be aware if you are planning to cook anything exciting. Additionally, despite having an induction hob at home, I couldn't work out how to get it working but that wasn't an issue for me. Great wifi, wonderful walks abound, we were greeted very nicely and then left to our (happy) devices throughout our stay. I can recommend The Willow Tree in Bourn for wonderful food but we didn't try anywhere else, given the times we were there. Many thanks, Jonathan.

We were very impressed by the accommodation, a little more expensive than we usually pay but considering the location, all the little extras and the quality of accommodation it was worth it We found the hosts extremely welcoming and proactive in their communications with us. We loved the garden and the attention to detail in the fitting out of the Coach House.

The house was everything that was described and had a lovely setting. There was every convenience and it was exceptionally peaceful and quiet. The views were really lovely and we both really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Even though it was very peaceful the house was very near the town centre which was great for cafes, restaurants and shopping. All in all, a very nice place to stay and we hope to return.

Everything about Emma's apartment was as described. There's plenty of space, it's in a very quiet area but very conveniently situated, with very good dining, drinking and shopping options within an easy walk, and about a half hour brisk walk to the center of the city. There were enough Nespresso pods to get is through the first couple breakfasts, along with croissants, cereal, jam, juice and milk. M&S market is about a 5 minute walk if you need to resupply. There are a few flights of stairs to navigate, and the bathtub is a little high up requiring some caution climbing in and out, so it's not suitable if you have mobility issues, but that's spelled out in the listing. Overall, it fit our needs perfectly.

We had a very busy schedule and ended up only staying at Maria’s annex to sleep in. It was perfectly adequate for our needs and would have been pleasant enough had we been there in the daytime as the annex has reasonable privacy and its patio backs onto a large garden which is a bit of a sun trap. Maria was very happy to accommodate any requests and would have made up an additional bed for us if we had asked her. (we found the double bed a little small for us as we are of a more “ sturdy” build ! But we managed just fine .) We also enjoyed meeting Mika , Maria’s cat, who was very friendly and liked hanging out with us! We would choose Maria’s annex again.

We were met upon arrival and shown to our room. Everything was explained to us and if we needed anything just to ask. The property is very easy to find and was just as you see in the photos. Royston is a lovely town with nice restaurants and a Tesco had lots to look around and had the perfect access to Cambridge. We had a lovely time.

We’ve stayed here before and as always immaculately clean, comfortable, good location near centre of Royston with everything we needed.
