One of our favorite stays to date! We stayed as a family of 4, on a hiking trip. The property was exactly as pictured - super comfortable and clean. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, bathroom was clean, and we loved that we had access to plenty of shampoo/conditioner, TP, detergent, coffee, creamer, etc. The location was quiet and safe. In addition to the hot tub and fire pit, we had fun playing horseshoes, disc golf, baseball, football, throwing axes - so many fun family activities! We (our kids especially!) also appreciated the complimentary s’mores kit, which we used every night. Ahmar was a great host, proactively checking in to ensure we had what we needed and super responsive with a couple questions. They’ve done a great job of making this place feel like home and taking care of all of the details. Highly recommend this listing!

Absolutely perfect to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. The hot tub is perfect next to the pond. Loved the deer feeder! It was beautiful and we will most certainly be back!

My sister and I stayed over the weekend with 5 of our kids age ranges from 13 to 3. This cabin is amazing!It was by far the best stocked place I have ever stayed in! There is nothing you could think of that you couldnt find. From spices, to high chair, to oil(which we forgot to bring), pleanty of dishes, pots and pans., even essential oils😁. It was as if someone actually lives there full time and just let us borrow it. The kids loved the toys( sorry we didnt put them back in the basement), books appropriate for everyone, board games, a nitendo( that was impressive brought me back to my childhood), playstation, you name it Tim has already got it in there. Towels, blankets and everything smelled fresh! The outdoors was amazing, we got lucky and it snowed which was an extra bonus! We will deff be back in summer time to enjoy that pool too! I cant say enough how amazing the cabin and the surrounding was!! Thank you Tim for somehow being able to think of everything! We LOVED IT!

Super clean and cute! Went there for a quiet night away. Perfect for what we needed. The bed was really comfortable too.

My son, two dogs and I loved Christina and Larry’s place! It was homey and sweet and had a great kitchen and AMAZINGLY soft sheets on the bed. I came to rest and I sure did! Minutes away from great hiking in Saint Francois SP. It was a perfect quick getaway from STL and we plan on going back soon. The baby goats were adorable! We cooked all our meals and hung out and the dogs had a fenced in yard- sooo nice. One thing to note is that the owners have a big flag up in support of our current president, which might be a dealbreaker for some of my city kin. (I’m from a small town in IL so am used to such enthusiasm from folks in the country.) Oh - and eggs are only 4$ a dozen, and we got a couple cartons - so good! Christina is an animal person like me, so we connected over that. My son enjoyed driving around the back roads. All in all, a wonderful stay. Thanks, Christina and Larry!

Fantastic location! We had a peaceful 4 night stay at this cozy mountaintop cabin. Spotless and supurbly decorated! The setting was incredibly tranquil, perfect for a getaway from the grind of daily life. We loved sipping our morning coffee on the deck while planning our daily hiking adventures to some of the beautiful nearby state parks. The hosts were friendly and communicative, making check-in/check-out a breeze.

Quiet and peaceful area. Great for a weekend getaway.

This was our second time staying here. And we will be staying here again in the future when we come visit family. It is very cozy and a beautiful place to stay. Always clean and host was always responsive very quickly.

I’m glad we stayed at one of Linda’s cabins. She’s an excellent host! We originally rented side A, but I realized after booking that it didn’t have a kitchen, and we planned on cooking most of the 5 nights we were there. She so graciously switched us to side B! The farm is SO beautiful, and thankfully the rain cleared away long enough for my daughter and I to walk one of the trails — even though we had to work around some giant puddles. 😆 It’s seriously so gorgeous! This particular listing is a cabin with 2 sides rented out, and the walls are PAPER thin, so just be aware of that! Definitely no fault to the host, but we could hear a lot of movement next door. I’m sure they could hear us too, though we tried hard to keep our 4-year old contained while indoors. Haha! THANK YOU, Linda! We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer and dryer. Personally, we would choose a single cabin next time, just for a little more space and less stress about our daughter’s crazy activeness. 🤭

My daughter’s outdoor wedding was on the property, and the reception was at the lodge. The cabin was absolutely perfect for my daughter’s seven bridesmaids for the night before and night of the wedding. The cabin was spacious with multiple showers , individual beds, etc. Linda is a perfect host!

The place was absolutely breath taking! We were lucky enough to have the grounds to ourselves and it was like an Ozark oasis getaway, but still in touch with society. We’ll be recommending this to friends and family for any getaway/event needs! 🖤

Tho place is amazing. It’s buggy as expected. It’s the second time visiting and it met expectations both times.

This was one of the best Airbnbs I ever been in. Very nice and new with great character. A beautiful pond with fire pit and the house was super well decorated. The host was super nice and accommodating. Will be back for sure!

Private cabin with historic charm. Loved reading about the history of the home and seeing old pictures. The WiFi was fast and dependable - able to stream shows and even have a zoom call. Beds were comfy, and there was extra blankets if needed. be prepared that there isn’t much room to put clothes in the upstairs bedrooms, though more than plenty in the main bedroom. Hosts were very responsive. Nice neighbors who also happen to be the handymen for the hosts. Our dog loved the cabin and had the whole front room to play with toys on the comfy rug.

This was a great find for us. It was a grandson trip so he thought the place was really awesome. We did too. It’s smaller but had all we needed. Perfect. Lots of great discounts coupons to local establishments. Hostess was always handy to check on us. And quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay again. 100% satisfied.
