I hadn’t researched the area well when I booked this home and didn’t realize that we’d be on the other side of the river from Porto. I’m so glad that I didn’t know as I might not have booked and we were thrilled with the location and the home. Being on the river was like watching a movie at all hours of the day and night. We loved the walks across the bridge to Porto and enjoyed the riverside restaurants and activities on both sides. The apartment is quiet and has very comfortable beds which is more important the older we get. There are stairs with the apartment on three levels. We enjoyed our brief times on the terrace and would have spent more time there in better weather. Isa responded quickly when we had a challenge with the washing machine and it was fixed the next day. She also showed me how to use the coffee machine, which produces fabulous coffee. It wasn’t difficult but I needed help. The place has everything needed for a great visit and we highly recommend it.

Appartamento nuovo, in stabile nuovo, dotato di garage (privato dell'appartamento), mentre piscina, lavanderia e palestra ad uso comune. La descrizione corrisponde. Zona tranquilla vicino allo stadio (non ci sono state partite durante il nostro soggiorno) a pochi minuti dalla metro e da alcuni supermercati. Comodo all'uscita dalla città (noi abbiamo noleggiato un'auto e girato per il nord del Portogallo). L'host Thomas in particolare è stato molto gentile e disponibile, anche in seguito ad un piccolo inconveniente con la chiave del garage, risolto nel migliore dei modi. Consiglio vivamente!

O Apartamento muito bom, com entrada interna para um shopping que facilitou muito as compras e restaurantes no final do dia quando chegávamos cansados. O João e um host muito educado, solícito e atencioso. O único inconveniente da localização é não estar perto de um metro, mas já está em construção e logo isso já não será um problema. Outro ponto que eu achei negativo, principalmente porque aluguei outros apartamentos em Portugal, foi que ele cobrou uma taxa de turismo em dinheiro, e nenhum dos outros hosts me cobrou, ou se cobrou incluiu no preço, como tive problemas com os cartões do banco, isso me causou stress por ter que conseguir sacar dinheiro.

We had a great stay in Villa do Conde! The apartment was bright, clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. Laundry was also a great plus to have. Bruno even offered to arrange for a shower stool for my accessibility needs which worked out great and was very thoughtful. There is also a small lift in the building for those who have trouble with stairs. There is both underground and street parking available. Great communication with Bruno from the beginning. Location was great and close to the center of town, it was also very handy for travelling to other beautiful towns and cities such as: Pavoa de Varzim, Ponte de Lima, Braga, Barcelos, Viana do Castelo, Porto and many more. The scenic views of the ocean, remarkable sounds of the waves and the beautiful boardwalk that offered places to eat and drink right on the beach was just the icing on the cake. :) This was a great accommodation and would definately recommend.

A nossa estadia foi excelente, o apartamento é novo e todos os móveis também. Para nós que trabalhamos com a internet, ter um local com mesa e cadeiras confortáveis é importante. O apartamento tinha uma mesa grande com cadeiras boas. O anfitrião foi mt atencioso e proativo. Voltaria facilmente. Um ponto de atenção é apenas que a água aquecida é por caldeira, então para mulheres de cabelo grande, precisam controlar o tempo no banho para não ficar sem água quente.

Le logement est conforme à la description, il est très propre et spacieux. Les hôtes sont vraiment réactifs et ont été de bons conseils (contact taxi, recommandations restaurants). L’arrivée et le départ est autonomes, c’est très appréciable. Le supermarché en face a bien dépanné. Tout était parfait! Un grand merci aux hôtes!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. António is a responsive and welcoming host, always available when needed. The apartment is well-equipped—sharp knives, plenty of dishes, both capsule and filter coffee machines. The bedrooms have good mattresses and pillows, the living room is spacious, with great view, and the design is excellent. With three bathrooms, everything was convenient. The location is fantastic—just a two-minute walk to the beach, surrounded by great restaurants, and only 30 minutes by metro to the center of Porto. The apartment was spotless. Everything was perfect, and we would love to return. Thank you so much, Antonio!

An amazing apartment in a perfect location - literally you could not pick a better location, it is a stones throw from a Metro station and there are shops and cafes in the street below, and a tourist information a few doors down, there is so much going on with street performers you can see from the balcony! The apartment looks exactly like the pictures, it is very big and airy. There were clear instructions for everything and it all worked well. Air con/heating system, great power shower, comfy bed overlooking a market square at the back, TV with loads of channels and everything you need to prepare basic meals in the kitchen (pots and pans etc - but you do need to buy your own tea and condiments etc). It was spotlessly clean, I loved spending time in this apartment. It is so easy to walk to many of Porto's sights and attractions from here. Really a perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Porto :)

Thank you, Maria, for our pleasant and enjoyable stay in Porto. The apartment is well located, very comfortable, clean, spacious and we also appreciated the access to the gym. Maria communicated very quickly and was very supportive with all her suggestions. We would highly recommend staying at Maria's place and if we are ever back to Porto, we would hope to stay here again.

Gute, ruhige Wohnung in der 3. Etage eines Wohnkomplexes, die mit mehreren Personen ausreichend Platz und Komfort bietet. Wir haben die Aussicht auf das Meer vom Balkon sehr genossen. Der Wohnkomplex ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber dennoch tolle Annehmlichkeiten wie das Hallenbad, Fitnessgeräte, Sauna. Gerade das Hallenbad im Spätherbst ist toll. Ausreichend gute Restaurant sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe sind vorhanden. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Vom Nachbarort kann man alternativ mit dem Zug nach Porto fahren.

We loved staying at Mathias’s beautiful apartment. The view over the river was stunning and it was away from the busy tourist areas, but also very handy to wherever we wanted to go. The guidebooks, maps, and local recommendations were highly appreciated. A highlight was our trip to Afurada, where we ended up spending the better part of a day. The apartment is beautifully appointed and comfortable with everything we needed.

Excelente apartamento, bem mobilado, decorado e limpo; boas áreas, comodidades maravilhosas (vista, piscina, garagem, bicicletas, mantas para o sofá, produtos básicos para a cozinha e WC, ...). A anfitriã foi muito simpática e sempre pronta a ajudar. Recomendo!!!

A beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need for a family holiday! Natacha’s place is spotlessly clean, lots of space and so many little extras it really felt like a home from home. The views of the sea and the sunset from the balcony were amazing! The pool was huge and clean and the surrounding area peaceful but close enough to Porto and Gaia by bike or a quick Uber ride. There is a boardwalk and cycle path just across the road that goes all the way down the beach to Porto. There is a supermarket nearby and some lovely beach bars and restaurants along the front. Natacha was a perfect host - friendly and very responsive and helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions for our stay. Our teenage girls loved the surf lessons that Natacha suggested and we had lots to do and lots of sights to see. Thank you Natacha for the perfect stay. We recommend 100% and would definitely stay again!

The place was great and a real gem in Porto. Close to the beach and into city as well. Claudia was very helpful throughout the time we were there with recommendations for things to eat and do around the area. Had a lovely time and will definitely look to stay here again 😊

This apartment is spectacular!! It has the feel of a luxury San Francisco penthouse apartment. We could listen to the waves at night. Multiple restaurants are within a 2 block area! While It's not technically IN Porto, it's a very inexpensive Uber ride away...and we saw a lot of the city that way without having to walk! The platform bed setup as one solid bed was a bit challenging for an older couple, but overall, the apartment made it worth the challenge! We'd definitely stay there again!

Great space, was nice and clean. Would 100% book again if staying in Porto agree in the future.

Loved it. Playing tennis from sunset to 5am (floodlights). Bbq on the terrace. Rooms were clean. Everything about this place was perfect. We even got some tasty baked goods every morning delivered to our door Easy to get ubers and uber eats. All the boys had a great time and want to go again. Its a great villa to just chill in, you dont get bored. Loved every minute.

The stay at Arianas place was just fantastic. She is super friendly, helpful and we felt right at home. The House is very charming, nicely decorated and very clean. It has everything you need. The location is very close to the beach, to the supermarket and close to restaurants and bars. It’s a quiet neighbourhood and we felt very safe. All in all just a perfect spot to enjoy some days in and around porto. Thank you Ariana for beeing such a good host! :)

Espaço incrível, fui para lá com a minha mulher no dia 14 de fevereiro (dia dos namorados) o Ricardo teve o cuidado de nos deixar o ambiente todo a requinte para tal! Zona do jacuzzi linda , a meu ver está super bem situado no melhor sítio para tirar uns dias para relaxar em plena paz! Super recomendo!!!

Where do I even start?! Staying at Maria's Casa do Rio felt like a magical home away from home. Maria and her sweet dogs gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us a beautiful tour of the property with an overview of its history that you should not miss. She was very accommodating to our check-in time and sensitive to our plans during our stay, which were not many. Since we didn't have much planned for our spur-of-the-moment visit, we were delighted when Maria gave us many suggestions of activities on our own as well as ones with her such as a tour around the area, canoeing, hiking, yoga class, massage, cooking together and so much more. The charm and kind embrace by Maria was otherworldly and an experience in itself that we won't ever forget. If you have any reservations on booking your stay here, you shouldn't because you will not regret a single second at Casa do Rio. Every moment during our stay here is one we will treasure, and we'll be back to visit Maria and her Casa.

I had an amazing stay at this airbnb! The house was incredibly cozy, spotless, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. The location couldn’t have been better—it was close to everything, making it super convenient to explore the area. On top of that, the host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I’ll definitely be coming back

Tiago est très accueillant. Toutes les informations ont été utiles et ont facilité notre arrivée. La maison est très accueillante, fidèle aux photos. Ce n'est pas indiqué dans les descriptions mais la piscine est chauffée en plus d'être couverte. Nous étions une famille de 6, des enfants aux grands parents, je recommande vivement.

We had a fantastic time, we especially enjoyed the heated pool and details in every room (bath robes, quality interior and cool appliances). Ideal location, close to airport, city centre and beach. Well worth a visit!
