The house was a great experience, Danielle was great to deal with, she was very helpful in helping us coordinate tours and advice on where to go. The house was very clean and private. We were a group of 8 (4 adults/4 kids) and we had ample space in the home.

Our group of extended family had a great stay at the Zen village. The kids were so entertained by the pool, plenty of space to explore. We milked the cow one morning. It feels like a rainforest treehouse and an experience like no other. Juan was so helpful and even helped us change a flat tire on a Sunday! Mario ordered our pizza from Pizza Ranch to be delivered upon arrival for our first night when we were too tired to cook or drive into town. We cooked two family dinners on the big pavilion which felt super special and private. Can’t say enough good about it. This Airbnb is an experience in itself, and a little oasis for coming to and from adventures. The only negative - thin blankets and pillows.

Ingrid’s place was amazing and exactly as described. She was a thoughtful and responsive host and left wine and chocolate to welcome us. We would definitely stay here again. The road up to the house is best navigated with an SUV.

great location, peaceful and only a 4 minute drive to La Fortuna downtown, and 8 minutes to the waterfall. Camilo was super welcoming and gave us an overview of what to do in the area.

We enjoyed our stay! It's a nice, clean home with scenic views in an authentic, safe community. We bought a few basics for breakfast (eggs, queso blanco, milk, coffee, juice) at the nearby community mini-market (a few blocks away) so we could make breakfast at the place. If you want fresh fruits & veggies, you should stop at a bigger market on your way (La Fortuna? Or El Castillo?). We ate dinner twice at the nearby La Terraza restaurant, which was good. We loved the batidos de fruta (fruit smoothies/shakes - 'de leche' ('of milk') . My favorite is the batido de papaya (de leche). My kids also tried the strawberry, pineapple, maracuya (and I think others, too!). We enjoyed the dishes we had there, too. Internet at the house can be spotty, but there's some cell reception, too. If you're on vacation and just checking your email from time to time and researching things to do in the area, it's fine; if you're looking to be a digital nomad, this is probably not the place for you.

Stylish space and great location very convenient for all the Fortuna/Arenal area has to offer, in a quiet neighborhood just outside of town and right off the main road. Loved the outdoor spaces and patio with beautiful, lush tropical landscaping. The inside lacks a comfortable place to gather, but we were fine with the outdoor spaces for that. Great views of Arenal from the street.

What a wonderful experience we had at this property! Of our 3 homes we stayed at during our time in Costa Rica, this was the most personable and felt the most authentic to Costa Rican living. Leonardo’s mother, Damas was a true gem! What a beautiful woman! She showed us her garden, brought us fresh bananas, cut some coconuts from the tree, showed us her unbelievable orchids, and so much more! She treated us like her personal guests. The pictures of the property do not do this place justice! Gorgeous, fun, educational and WOW, just so fun!! It is a bit of a a drive to La Fortuna (about 30 minutes), but that’s what makes it special and more of an authentic experience. It’s not a touristy place to stay, but close enough to LaFortuna to do the typical tourist attractions. Thank you for sharing your home and your mother with us!

AMAZING. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, the view is WAY better in real, the room are big and clean with hot water, really a piece of paradise!!! The only thing to know, there is a breakfast for a great price available. Otherwise you need to think to buy some food to eat. It is not far away from the little town where you have a few restaurants (maybe 1-2?), a little convenient store and a place to get meat but it is a bumpy road to come back to get it, so think ahead and buy it before you get there!
