We were staying here whilst we attended a wedding in the area. The conversion of this fire house to flats was of an extremely high standard. Everything was really well thought out. Lots of storage in the triple wardrobes and the bed was really comfy. The kitchen had every utensil you could need, a microwave/combi oven and even a ninja air fryer. The instruction manuals for everything was in one of the kitchen cupboards and this was really useful. Everything was spotless when we arrived and there was even a pair of binoculars in the living room to help soak up the outstanding views from the Juliet balcony. The bathroom was stylish and the waterfall shower was great and it was easy to get the correct temperature. The artwork was beautiful and of the area which was a nice touch. I always look for a full length mirror and coat hooks in an Airbnb so I was thrilled to see hooks by the door and 2 in the bathroom along with a full length mirror in the bedroom. We had a fantastic time here!

The apartment was very convenient for the Loahaline to Fishnish ferry- in fact you can see it from the lounge window. There is a useful shop a couple of minutes walk away, along with a petrol pump. The apartment itself was really clean, great shower, comfy bed. The kitchen had a combination oven/ microwave, plus an air fryer and a small hob- perfect for cooking evening meals.

The original house has been a private home and hotel before becoming holiday accommodation. The owners have done a great job at retaining all the best features. The rooms in our apartment (lorimer) were very big and the bed extremely comfortable. Lounge and bathroom are both very big. The gardens are beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Only downside of this particular apartment (ground floor) is that there's no direct access to the garden. Not a big deal for us but might be if you were staying with a dog that needed direct garden access. Our dog is very relaxed about these things so it isn't a big issue. Overall the accomodation is very dog friendly with dog treats, dog towel and a throw for the furniture provided. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay with the best night's sleep of our mini-Scotland tour. This is a great location for reaching many of the major sights in the area with many hidden treasures thrown in. if we were to return to the area, we'd definitely re-book

Very enjoyable time. The house is beautifully situated with a wonderful view over the Sound of Mull. Every need was catered for and I would have no hesitation in recommending Willow Brae to others.

Damon's place is lovely and the location even better. For a extra special meal, walk down to the Taynuilt hotel... amazing

This unit seats in a large estate that has been converted into 6 self-catering units (+owners & helpers units). The unit we stayed in (MacLeary) is on the 2nd floor, freshly remodeled, cosy and bright. Huge bedroom with large, comfy bed. Big couches in the living room, it was nice to hang out by the fire place after a long day of walking in the rain... The gardens are gorgeous, outdoor space is shared, well equiped with bbq's & multiple seating areas. Very pet-friendly place. The owners are very nice and friendly and welcomed us themselves upon arrival. One of the best AirBnB's we've stayed at. Highly recommend. And make sure to go to Kilchrenan Inn for drinks and/or dinner (reservations recommended), about 15/20 min from there.

1st time in an Airbnb. You always wonder on your first booking how things will pan out. Needn't have worried. Everything was homely, able to relax in a comfortable environment. Sabina was on hand to assist and advise and has a lovely personality and understanding coupled with a lovely sense of humour. So, will we repeat the excersise. Definitely if all hosts are as good as Sabina.

Mel’s place is nothing short of incredible. From the minute we booked to the minute we left Mel was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The welcome hamper was perfect for us and very generous. The place itself is idyllic. It feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but yet you have everything you want and need on your doorstep. The house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, warm (we stayed in February!) and has lots of high quality features. The view over the loch is incredible and changes everytime you look at it which only made the whole trip even better. We managed a boat trip with Cruise Loch Lomond on Mel’s recommendation and a walk up to the hydroelectric station again, on Mel’s recommendation. Both amazing experiences. I would recommend a stop at the farm shop in Luss for some square sausage and rolls for breakfast. Thanks Mel 🙂 Lou, Darius and the kids.

We had a fab stay, great location, excellent home from home. The weather was fantastic which enabled us to use the lovely peaceful garden.

Wir hatten als Familie (eine Tochter, 4 Jahre) einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Pinemarten Chalet. Die Unterkunft ließ von Ausstattung und Lage nichts zu wünschen übrig und war idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen in den südlichen Highlands. Mit dem Mietwagen sind viele verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (kleinere Shops aller Art beim Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum, größerer Supermarkt in Killin), Startpunkte für Wanderungen und andere Ausflugsziele gut erreichbar. Der kleine Laden im Portnellan Holiday-Park (mit mehreren Häusern in verschiedenen Größen) bietet zudem auf kurzem Fußweg das Nötigste auch auf kurzem Fußweg und Ausleih-Möglichkeiten für Bücher, Spiele und Filme. Die Ausstattung war perfekt, der Blick auf den Ben More von der Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit und bei (fast) jedem Wetter einfach traumhaft. Die Kommunikation mit Lucy und Cameron klappte hervorragend, sogar Eier von Enten und Hühnern konnten direkt bestellt werden ;). We'll be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Cumbrae View House for 5 nights in March. It’s a home from home and is in a great spot for walking along the sea front or up to the Largs view point or along to the marina. Great to have off road parking too. The house is nice and spacious and the complementary bottle of wine was very nice after a 7 hour journey to get there. Nicola is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be using the house again when we come up to visit family. Thanks Nicola x

Wow! What a beautiful place, the photos don’t do this justice - the property has everything you need and we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Although located off a track, you really are not far from the coast and beautiful walks from the property. Rothesay is only a few mins drive away, you don’t feel isolated. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

This was truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is cosy, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need — from an immaculate bathroom with fluffy towels to a welcoming living room featuring a fireplace and a large, comfortable sofa. And the views? Absolutely breathtaking. The welcome goodie box was such a thoughtful surprise — a perfect touch that speaks to the hosts’ exceptional hospitality. We felt completely at peace here and enjoyed a truly restful stay. We’ll be recommending this gem to all our friends, and we’re already looking forward to coming back on our next visit to the Highlands!

Mairi was the most perfect and wonderful host who made us both feel extremely welcome from the get-go to our first stay in the Scottish Highlands. Mairi provided us with extremely clear instructions on how to find the accommodation which was super helpful and easy to follow. After a delayed check-in as a result of our tyre bursting, Mairi was extremely supportive and understanding and allowed us to check-in later than planned - thank you so much! The Skyfall apartment was the best place we have stayed in. From the apartment being spotlessly clean to pristine standards, the most comfiest bed we've slept in, amazing facilities, a super-relaxing bath-tub to the breathtaking views from the balcony...it was the most perfect, peaceful and relaxing stay you could ever wish for. This was our first stay in the Highlands and we will definitely be back to stay here as this accommodation is perfect for a relaxing visit for exploring some of Scotlands most beautiful landscape. Perfect stay for wedding at Turnberry! Beautiful room, beautiful location !

We had 2 nights there on impulse to celebrate our wedding anniversary. But what a holiday it was! The self catering flat, a self catering annexe, is such a fabulous place to stay! Flat is well appointed, quiet and spacious, and the kitchen one of the best equipped that I've come across. The bed was super comfy (which I can't say for all beds we've slept in). We have only positive things to say about our stay in Ballachulish: scenery outside the window is just stunning; cycle ride around Loch Leven (just over 20 miles) in gorgeous surroundings was ace, and to cap it off, we also had a row on the Loch with Glencoe Boat Club. Thank you Caroline.

We are just back home after a short break in Lochaline. It really is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view across the water to Mull. The house was fully accessible with parking right outside the door, all on one level and an easily accessible shower. Very much needed for me as I’m disabled and it can be so hard to find suitable places to stay. The house was very clean with a great selection of utensils and supplies like fairy and dishwasher tablets. I highly recommend a stay at Lesley’s place!
