My girls loved this place! The house had plenty of amenities, and the owner was very responsive with the few questions we had. Easy check in and Easy to find because the instructions are very clear and precise. Not to far to hit up New Orleans and Baton Rouge located right between them, and then get home to a peaceful location! Would definitely stay there again

Our family of 6 from Wisconsin thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The golf cart ride and alligator sightings added to the excitement. The kids caught several catfish off the dock. The deck/dock is perfect for dinner/socializing. The neighbors are great. The listing is exactly as described. If we ever are in the area again we would definitely stay here!!! 5 stars!

BEAUTIFUL home. The stay was absolutely darling. The host was easy to talk to and accommodated needs due to code not working. She answered after hours and got my team situated. Would recommend. You wont regret booking!

i absolutely love the stay! it was personal for our group of 5 bathrooms was super clean just wish it had more then white towels because everyone makeup was getting everywhere 😫. i loved the master bedroom bathroom the tub was perfect . wish they provided cleaning products. the shower gave us a hard time because water was getting ever where. we had a few problems with nets and outside bugs due to the location and it being a lakefront with big windows and large doors . VERYYYYYYYY spacious, no clutter, nice floors, comfortable beds, and just lovely all around . will stay again the only con is ITS SO FAR!

The best family vacation we’ve had to date! The Landing was immaculate! Melinda thought of everything!!! The neighborhood was safe and everyone was so kind! Each day we took off for a new adventure. You can go an hour or less in any direction and find something amazing to do! We loved coming home each evening to relax at The Landing! We will 100% be back!

This cottage was like a tiny house. I brought a crew of 6. Me, my husband, 12 , 13, 15, & 16 yr old teenagers! We knew ahead of time what we were in for. I admit I did miss a table but what we did get to do was eat our meals out side under a covered area around a picnic table with extra chairs next to the water. It was what we needed! We wanted family time. We also brough our boat to do some fishing. They answered every phone call and every text and talked and laughed with my kids outside. We got stranded in the middle of the Amite River about 10miles from out cottage, going up stream with a trolling motor. The shaft broke just a few hours from dark. Talk about panic setting in. We reached out to them, they did not hesitate to come and get us and tow us back. That is not just a SUPERHOST, that's what I call good people at heart!

Our stay at Our Little Diversion couldn't have been better. It was the perfect home base for us to explore southern Louisiana and visit family nearby. The location is peaceful, quiet, and soothing - certainly welcome after a busy day being the typical tourists in New Orleans or Baton Rouge. And a morning cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water can't be beat. The house was spotless and well stocked. We had everything we needed and Dionna was incredibly responsive to our pre-arrival questions. We would absolutely stay again the next time we're in the area.

This house was absolutely perfect for my family! We had such a great stay, it was so peaceful and quiet. Looked exactly like the photos. My kids loved fishing from the dock which was a huge bonus! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay! This location is perfectly situated between New Orleans and Baton Rouge with easy access to amenities in Gonzalez. The golf cart ride to the cabin is fun and really makes you feel like you are on an adventure. Very peaceful setting with easy access to everything you could want to do. The recommendation for The Coffee House we highly recommend as well! Dennis and his wife were very sweet and accommodating and made sure we were taken care of during our stay! We will be back again!
