We had a great stay at Benjamin’s house. Comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 4 children. Benjamin’s communication was excellent throughout. The house is lovely and the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space. Very well equipped. Bakewell town centre is under 5 minutes walk away. Playground and pub also very close. Located on a quiet cul de sac with enough space on the drive for three cars. Would highly recommend.

The cottage is beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches round the place, bubble bath, washing up liquid, blankets and some lovely welcome treats. The village is so beautiful and the cottage is absolutely lovely. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and excellent hosts. Always ready to answer any questions we had and popped by when we needed help Would 100% stay here again. The home is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The area is peaceful and perfect for a getaway. We was here for a friend's wedding, so didn't get to explore the area too much but the house was a great place to relax after a long day. Thanks to Robbie & Kelly for being excellent hosts.

A great house in a peaceful area of the Peak District, with plenty of space for five people (plus a dog). The rooms were all spacious and tastefully decorated. The views from virtually every window were spectacular. Thank you very much to the hosts.

There is not one thing I can say about my stay here that isn’t positive. From the moment I booked it William was so responsive and when I got there it was cosy and warm and I felt right at home. The whole place is spotless and homely and William has thought of everything that anyone could possibly want. The fire is a dream and I was even given extra logs so I could keep it going on my last night. The kitchen is pristine and has everything you need to cook a meal. The garden is private and enclosed so my dogs could go outside without me worrying that they might get out. The bed is super comfortable and I would love to know where it is from because I want to get the same mattress for my own bed. I couldn’t recommend staying here more. I already can’t wait to come back. The dogs were in their element laying in front of the fire after long days of walking and exploring the area. The location is perfect for exploring without driving. I loved spending Christmas at this caravan. It was beautifully warm and cosy in a gorgeous location with lots of excellent walking routes. Lovely hosts make you feel so welcome too.

Great stay as a family of 5 with two children and 1 infant. The stay was pleasant and a great location. We visited alton towers as well as Thorpe and Ashbourne. Great communication. Great recommendations. Very nice cottage and had everything you need to cook, relax, etc. Rooms were good, we didn't love the bed but it's personal choice. A bit noisy having our baby in the travel cot but we slept okay. We didn't get to explore any walks but seems to be in such a fab location to do some.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the cottage. Festively decorated and we had a nice welcome surprise on arrival. Check-in was super easy and we had quick replies with any queries we had. Comfy beds and vintage decor and furniture. Only negative was that I thought the radiator in the double room wasn’t working, until check out day when I realised it was just turned down to zero! So I was chilly most nights! 🤣. The swimming pool was great and we had it all to ourselves which was a bonus. I didn’t see the games room but friends kids that visited had a great time there. I would recommend and I would stay again for sure!

We stayed in the main farm house in a group of 6. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in every room. The garden was large with a hot tub, outdoor seating and sand pit for the kids. Loved the fact you can feed the goats, there was a full guide to recommended places nearby for days out and places to see or visit. The host was really lovely and available to help whenever we needed. We would definitely love to come back here and see more of the surrounding areas and especially chatsworth house and gardens. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to have a chilled, peaceful holiday and for people wanting to get out and see the beautiful local towns, history and days out with the kids. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

A Beautiful restoration of a 19th century chapel . My grandchildren thrived in the huge rooms & giant sofa & So many hiding places! My daughter relaxed in the pool & sauna . It was a perfect break Thankyou Samantha

My parents had a lovely few days in Margaret’s beautiful home in Ashbourne heights. Margaret was so helpful with any questions we had and was really kind. Her home is beautiful, so homely and comfortable. Ashbourne heights is a great place to stay and so much to do not far from the site. Will definitely be back again in the future and highly recommended. Thankyou so much Margaret x

What can I say about this place.. 100 things 100 times over!! I did not want to leave! On top of the amazing customer service despite it being a self check in, I felt super welcome immediately and made to sure his property which was absolutely to die for stunning; And looks far better than the photos lead on to believe, was kept squeaky clean and decluttered, exactly how it was when we arrived! Was meant to be only a simple stay for us as we intended on doing hikes in the local area but it ended up being the total highlight of our trip! Being able to allow our four dogs off leash from the front door of the property with no worries was absolutely amazing and they all extremely enjoyable the independence and joy of well kept, Clean grass, and the completely enclosed area surrounding ten Entire property, part of it with the main castle and part of it completely private with the hot tub and sauna to the rear. Never have I ever felt so secure in a property than this home. Highly recommend!!

Perfect stay whilst researching family history of a relative who lived in Belper in 1880 for my book. Emma was kind enough to let me stay an extra hour so that I could finish the piece I was working on!

Fantastic stay in this beautiful cottage for our Wedding Anniversary, clean, cosy, peaceful and extremely relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

We stayed at Wendy’s as a base for hiking around the Peak District. The location was spot on! There were cafes and pubs only a few steps away, many supermarkets only a 10 minute drive (if that) and the hikes we wanted to do were only up to 30 minutes drive away (depending on what hikes you choose of course). The property is stunning! The beds were comfortable, it was cosy and warm. The bath was a big hit post hike! I’d advise anyone with mobility issues that the two single beds are in the upstairs bedroom which have very steep steps, but this what you should expect from a cottage. Just perfect! Thank you Wendy. We certainly would come back!!

My husband and I stopped at this lovely airbnb for the night of our wedding day. It is in a fab location next to Whistle Barns and is a short walk from a canal. It is very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. There is a place to park your car also. Julie was a fantastic host and would definitely recommend staying here if in the area or attending a wedding at Whistle Barns

What a beautiful place!! I would definitely stay again and we are looking for our next weekend away where we can stay here, very friendly, beautiful surroundings, I have recommended to my family and friends. we didn’t take a dog but could see how this would appeal to someone who does. Space was spotless and beautiful views all round, easy instructions to find the place and a recommendations book for everything you can do mostly within walking distance which was an amazing touch, thank you to the hosts for sharing this beautiful place!!

We stayed in Luke’s accommodation for my wife’s 40th - from the off Luke was extremely responsive and helpful when planning where to eat and where to walk locally, with lots of recommendations. The pesto at the peacock was a 10 minute drive and a restaurant we can’t wait to return to. The accommodation was easy to find, quiet and secluded. Exactly as described and shown in the photos. The garden area was a sun trap and fantastic place to relax, with the hot tub also a nice touch. We would definitely return and thank Luke for the hospitality.
