We were looking for a last minute booking on a home close to Boone and came upon this listing. The place was spotless clean and had everything that you may need for a short stay. The instructions and the check in and out process was super easy. My teens loved the giant tv screens and the pool table and we loved the view and the privacy. We would love to stay again but this time in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the porches and the views more.

Extremely clean and welcoming home. The access to the farm and honey store makes staying here one a one of a kind experience. Very dog friendly which we appreciate so much. Communication was excellent. Porch is Cracker Barrel style which is 10/10.

Absolutely loved staying at Amanda’s place. It’s secluded from the main area you will be visiting as it’s higher up in the mountains but it’s a 35 mins drive to the town. We walked the area within the community and it was quiet and had friendly neighbors. The place itself has anything you need, we bought groceries before getting to the cabin and were surprised when we got there that the place was so well stocked. The cabin was clean and smelled nice, and Amanda was responsive from the moment I booked and asked for recommendations for tubing to the day before check in where I had questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My group had the most relaxing weekend at the Fleetwood Flat! The rooms were clean and stocked with anything we could need — including warm robes for after we hit the hot tub. The owners were very quick to respond and gave clear instructions for check in/out. I highly recommend staying here for a great weekend with nature and friends.

Sadie’s Place was a a really peaceful and quiet getaway. It had a lot of space and plenty of beds for big groups and the property has some beautiful views and nice walking trails. It is convenient to West Jefferson and Sparta and there’s plenty to do in the region. I would highly recommend staying here and we plan to again!

Extremely beautiful cabin and location. The view was amazing got to watch numerous deer feed in the field across the street from the balcony. Enjoyed listening to the river rushing by every day. Was able to experience snow the first day and even go to do a little sledding. Steve was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was peaceful and very clean. Great stay and will definitely be back in the future.

The home and grounds were pristine, private and beautiful. We enjoyed the space for our animals and family to spread out and then come back to together. The fire area outside with the hot tub was a huge win for the grandkids. The inside was perfectly appointed and well stocked. We will return here as a family! Perfect fit for our big growing family.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway!! House was nice and clean! Plenty to do and eat within a short distance! Amazing views from the balcony which made the perfect spot for me to propose!! Would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay! If I’m ever back in the area I would definitely stay again!

This cabin is a perfect mountain retreat! Stylish cabin with plenty of outdoor hangout space. This place comes equipped with anything you could possibly need- pots, pans, dishware, laundry and dish detergent, even shampoo, conditioner and body wash! The hosts were super nice, helpful and friendly- they gave us a guide on the must do’s around town and activity options around the neighborhood. Even giving us step by step instructions on how to get to the house in case Apple Maps had led us astray! Couldn’t ask for a better stay or better hosts! :)

Great stay within walking distance of Beech Mountain Ski! The condo was very clean and cozy. Check-in and check-out were made easy with clear instructions from the hosts. I would stay again!

What an incredible stay!! John was an amazing host and you can tell that he cares for his guests. When we had an issue with the door he came over right away and fixed it himself!

Great place to stay! This made the 3rd or 4th time I’ve stayed here and it gets better every trip! Plenty of parking if you’re pulling a boat and places to hook up to power outside! Plenty of privacy!

Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect getaway. The views outside were stunning, offering a peaceful and private setting to relax and unwind. Everything was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities available and well-maintained. The location was ideal—secluded enough for privacy yet within a 30-45-minute drive to a variety of activities, including snowboarding, skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat!

Richard was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need including board games, cooking ingredients and lighters/fire starters. Location was very peaceful and perfect for a romantic getaway for 2 people. Overall loved the experience and would definitely come back!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Tucked Inn. It was so peaceful and relaxing, the seclusion was exactly what we wanted! Our two pups had a blast in the snow and loved all the space to play. We would love to plan a trip here again one day!!

Absolutely stunning home! The hosts were phenomenal and very attentive. The location was perfect for our weekend visit to West Jefferson. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips, and I highly recommend this home for a peaceful retreat.

We normally travel somewhere new for Christmas every year. This year we decided to just make it about spending time with each other and our dogs. We couldn’t be happier we chose this cabin and will probably return in the near future. So beautiful and peaceful, just what we needed to recharge as a family!

Super cozy! Found everything we needed for our weekend Christmas tree trip. Perfect location to walk into the beautiful town! Loved the extra bedding (teens would share a bed so the couch came in handy) all and all it was EXCELLENT! And our pup loved the fenced yard!

Acorn Acre is better than you can imagine: unusually private and peaceful. Nothing that feels tiny about it; well thought out use of space. Charming decorations by obviously dog people. Lots of windows for an open, bright living area. Deck is large and overlooks extensive private woods with lots of doggy walking space and a flowing creek. Shower is great and bed and pillows are very comfortable. Everything in good shape and Wi-Fi is excellent. Gravel Road in good condition, and no more than 10 minute drive into Boone. Highly recommend and intend to return.
