Epic view and super cool location. It's just this little house in the middle of a giant pasture up in the foothills of Mt. Sopris. There's nothing but horse ranches and split rail fences surrounding you. Super quiet and dark at night -- yet only 10-15 min (scenic) drive down to all modern conveniences. We had regular visitors on property including prairie dogs, elk, fox, one very cute neighbor dog and numerous birds. Photos on the listing are quite accurate but do not do this property justice. It's just a vibe you have to experience in person if you can. The host was friendly and responsive but I will warn; for an AirBNB this place is a little more "self-serve" than normal. There were not a lot of instructions for things but I think the owner is laid back and takes care of most everything needed, so guests can spend more time relaxing and enjoying that awesome view! Book this place now.

The pictures of this place do not do it justice. Kim has considered every detail when it comes to being a great host. From providing special towels for makeup removal to providing hand warmers for the cold winters, she left no stone unturned. In the words of my girlfriend, “I don’t want to leave.” I’d recommend this place 10 out of 10 times. The location is great (10 minutes from a super market and 15 minutes to Vail village), and the amenities are top-notch (heated bathroom floors, jacuzzi, high-speed internet). If you’re on the fence about this property, I say pull the trigger!

Great place, if I ever come back to Vail I will definitely try to stay here. It was about 5-10 mins to the main villages/ski resort. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms and living room are all so cozy. Just what we imagined a snowy ski vacation in the woods would be like.

Rob is a terrific host and we had a wonderful stay his home. We hope to be back soon and cannot thank him enough for making his home available to us.

Perfection. Go ahead and book this place right now. It is absolutely stunning. After a day of skiing with our kids, we got to come back and unwind in the hot tub, looking over Sobris mountain and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The design and location of this home is amazing. You wake up with the most amazing view you'll ever find in any airbnb anywhere. I'll stay here again in a heartbeat.

I really enjoyed the responsiveness of booking company; the house was missing any Kleenex, and the HVAC was pretty wonky. But they responded with Kleenex and a few small space heaters to help out. (The back of the house gets hot, while the front is very cold....but with a few tweaks, and using the electric fire place etc, the stay became enjoyable on day 2 and 3. The Hot tub is a wonderful feature, though only fits 3 adults comfortably....amazing views. The kitchen is well appointed; and I appreciated that they have left 'left over' items from other guest like condiments etc. (Knives could be placed in a separate drawer from other utensils; and they could use a sharpening :) ) This is a good spot for like (4) people, but a bit cramped with (6) adults. All in all we enjoyed the stay, the great communication, the flexibility, cleanliness and interesting host decorations!! We would recommend this experience for a fun weekend in Leadville to ski and snowshoe again!!

It was a beautiful and very comfortable house with nice beds. Excellent kitchen and dining room with ample room for our large family. It was a short drive to either Beaver Creek or Vail. I would definitely stay here again!

Location for skiing Beaver Creek is great. Riverfront gondola and lower beaver creek lift then you are on the slopes. After skiing, ski Leave the Beav directly to the Riverfront gondola. Walked to 3 different restaurants in Avon for dinner.

Easy to the slopes location. Ski Valet was a great feature as well. Great location in Avon.

Had a great, comfortable stay! Location is convenient to get to both Beaver Creek and Vail. The only downside is that the Westin Gondola doesn’t take you to the main Beaver Creek Village side where the ski school is. You’d need to take a shuttle or drive there. Tip: Request for a room facing the creek/mountains couple of days before your check-in day, though our view facing the town wasn’t bad either.

A beautiful, clean, home. It was hard to leave the hut tub next to the creek!

Great place to stay! The views of the mountains and the lake from the house were amazing. The host was communicative and we enjoyed our time there.

Margaret’s place is the perfect Christmas wonderland escape. Beautiful place that made us feel right at home. A white Christmas we will look forward to every year! Highly recommended. Scenery is absolutely breathtaking!

Very clean and neat. It worked well for our family of 6. Nice master suite separated from main house. Situated between 2 other houses but feels very private because of fences, and no dwellings across the river. The driveway is steep so we parked at the street to avoid getting stuck in the ice. Quick drive to Beaver Creek was easy for skiing.

Beautiful cabin close to Glenwood Springs. The hosts have thought of everything and the cabin has lots of thoughtful details. Beautifully furnished and the hot tub and fire pit were a great addition to the stay. Our family had a lovely time, thank you!

Loved this super cute and rustic cabin. It had a wood burning stove, as well as electric radiators so you don't have to keep the fire alive all night. The lodge was great and had complimentary coffee and tea, as well as wifi, a bodega with items to purchase, sauna/hot tub, and comfy couches with a fireplace - great spot to hang out if you want out of the cabin.

Kim's place was absolutely beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights in Glenwood Springs and I would highly recommend her place. The amenities including the hot tub were so nice. Super private and very clean, a perfect home for a group traveling to Glenwood Springs.
