Victoria is the most helpful, accommodating, responsive host I have come across renting a home. The house is really lovely and set up nicely with everything you need. It is a 3 bedroom home with 3 queens and one of the queen rooms also has a nice bunkbed. There is a bit of traffic on the road but that seems to be normal for most places around the area. I brought a couple of West Point Cadets there since they got an unexpected Labor Day Weekend pass. We ended up hanging at the house one night and just having frozen pizzas and watching TV and it was really comfortable and relaxing.

Rob was very responsive to all emails and texts and all the instructions for checking in/checking out were very clear. House was exactly as advertised. Easy to get to beach and town. We had a really nice stay.

Delightful stay at this very clean and comfortable space. During a hot and humid week we felt fortunate to be in this cool house which was well equipped with efficient air conditioning and ceiling fans. Comfy sectional and deep cushion chairs were quite conducive for socializing. All beds were equally wonderful. While there is a beach in walkable distance, we preferred to drive to the more popular Seven Presidents so very happy to have had the beach passes provided. We appreciated not having to bring our own beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and beach towels ! It was also lovely to be able hop on a bike and head to a local coffee shop. House is located in a quite family neighborhood so while not a walkable location to much, everything is a quick drive away. Overall lovely stay. It’s obvious proprietors care deeply about the property and quickly responsive to any questions we had.

We are locals to Long Beach who needed a place to stay while moving apartments. We were graciously hosted by Pat and Ciara quite last minute, thankfully they had open availability for the dates we needed, and they let us extend our stay/offered late checkout as needed which was such a huge help to our situation. All aspects of the house were very cozy and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Communication was top notch, it was very easy to find and get in and out of the apartment. Great location, steps to the beach and so many restaurants all within walking distance. We will be recommending their space to any family or friends who come to visit from out of town!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour chez Jenna. L’appartement était spacieux et très propre, comme sur les photos. Bien situé, à quelques minutes du boardwalk, quartier tranquille. Nous avons rencontré Jenna et son mari, qui étaient très gentils. Ils se sont assurés que tout se passait bien pour nous et ils nous ont donné des recommandations de restaurants. Je recommande sans hésiter!

Joseph, was an excellent host who made our stay truly enjoyable. The rental was spotless and well organized. Yep, the location was perfect. It had nearby restaurants and some amazing scenic views made our stay much more memorable. Thank you!

The house was beautiful and even nicer than the pictures. We loved the pool and the beach was right there. Tim was super responsive- especially around check in time. Would easily stay there again next time i am im the area !

This is a perfect spot in a magical place. Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. The views from the house are stunning. The deck is incredible and I loved listening to ocean waves all day and night. My friends and I had a great time. Will definitely be back! Thanks again.

Hidden gem!!! Shhhh don’t tell anyone this place was fabulous and I want to stay the whole summer! Nothing bets fire island and this house was the perfect retreat!!! Beautiful, spotless and well put together! Loved it! Perfect for a family or friends get away!!! Hosts were responsive and friendly as well. Close to beach and great to a have a pool for part of the day! Great location walkable/bikable to Seaview, Ocean Beach and Ocean Bay Park for dinner was a breeze! A must!

We had such an incredible stay here! The home was beautiful, communication was excellent, check in was easy, and an early drop off of our bags was accommodated. Highly recommend and would love to return next year!

The house was stunning, immaculate and very private. Mark was a generous, gracious host and I was invited to dinner every evening. Very welcoming and made me feel like one of the family. Highly recommend.

We had a wedding to attend in the Red Bank area and I was looking for a nice place that we could use as a central location. Adams unit was just what we were looking for. It had 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything we could need. Everything was in working order. The sunset's from the back yard were awesome! The unit was large enough for entertaining family members after the wedding. It was too cold to use the pool and we didn't have time to use the hot tub however it was up and running. Everything considered, Adam's place was nice and convenient . I would certainly book again when in the area and would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a nice 5 bedroom home.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location can't be beat, just around the corner from food and shops. Easy walk to the lifeguard beach. Our week was a bit stormy, and the two glass-enclosed balconies were perfect for watching the clouds and lightning roll in, and sunsets too. The house also offered great family-centered spaces for the evenings, when we were done with sun and beach. Enjoyed dipping into the pool in the early mornings and late evenings. Dave was appropriately available to us before and during our stay for any questions.

The house is great. Plenty of room. Close to beach and bay. The market is a short 1 minute walk. The beach is a 2 minute walk. Chairs, umbrellas and beach cart are waiting for use. Great place. Greg and Sandra were very responsive. Looking forward to next year.

Great and clean place, exactly like the pictures, safe neighborhood, and right by the beach.

The location was great. Walking distance to good restaurants and the beach. Good mountain biking trails not too far away. We visited in October. Maybe too chilly to go swimming, but perfect for sitting on the beach enjoying the surf, sand, sun, and a good book. Chris was an amazing host. The house was very clean and the perfect size for our family get together.

This is an adorable home in a lovely neighborhood by the beach. We were visiting family and so happy to have a place of our own. Cassandra was really responsive and her place fit all our needs. We would love to return in the summer for beach time! We would for sure rent agaib. Peaceful and lovely.

This place is awesome for what it is - a large home that can accommodate many people with a ton of space. It also doesn't have the Airbnb special room of 4+ beds that sleeps 8 to pump up the amount that can sleep there. This listing is straightforward. The keyless entry is awesome, everything in the house works, and there is plenty of parking and amenities. It is older and dated, however, and lacks a few finish details but for what it is, this house is very, very worth it. Each room was separated enough to have privacy, the kitchen was functional, and the dining room, living room, and entry/sunroom all offered enough room for everybody in our party to feel comfortable. I would stay here again, especially with a large group. We were 7 adults and 6 children (all under 8) and this was 1000% better than a hotel or other living arrangement. Thank you Ashley! You were a great host!

Christina’s place is a lovely cottage by the marina and walkable into town. The main loft bedroom and sitting area is spacious and comfortable. We stayed for the holiday with our adult daughter and we were all comfortable and cozy. She had her own bedroom on the main floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while we visited our family over the holiday.

The place was beautiful!! It was very relaxing, morning views with a cup of coffee was the best in the morning!! The place had everything you to cook , to go the beach !! Only thing I wish I had time for was to paddle board the place had it all !!! Definitely if I’m in the area would stay here again !!! Well worth the money !!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Surf Shack. The the house was just right for us with 3 kids with plenty of space inside the house and on the deck the kitchen is very well appointed with everything we needed in for breakfast smoothies, picnics and grilling. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the fact that the house is right by the beach! It’s also a very easy walk in to town for ice cream, iced coffees and supplies. We were all in and out of town multiple times on all the days. Joseph was super friendly, helpful and quickly answered any questions I had about the local community and activities and deliveries to the island. He was very flexible on arrival and check out times and an ideal host. We would love to come back and stay and would recommend it to other visitors to Fire Island.
