la casa cueva es una monería, tal cuál las fotos... muy cómoda y si buscas tranquilidad, la tendrás. el pueblo lo tienes a tres minutos... lo único que no lleves tacones por las cuestas que hay. Paco y Claudia son unas maravillosas personas muy atentos y amables. la mini piscina fue espectacular mis hijos y nosotros la disfrutamos a tope.el jardín es precioso e ideal para los desayunos y cenas. cocina muy bien equipada. y por las noches de verano no te enteras del calor. sitio muy recomendable

This was our second time at Pepa and Juan‘s beautiful Cave Houses that they have renovated with such joy and creativity and care. We stayed here for the first time six years ago and have talked about it as the highlight of our trip to Spain for over six years! We were so happy to finally return. Pepa and Juan are as delightful and wonderful as we remember them. And the Cave Houses were as beautiful and clever as we remember them. The infinity pool with the waterfall in the cave was what my daughter remembered most and it was all so fun to play and relax in. Pepa and Juan have made such a special place for relaxing and enjoying a unique dwelling. The caves are immaculately designed, cute and fun to be in, and the infinity pool is refreshing and delightful overlooking the cliff and ravine. Pepa and Juan are AMAZING and kind and attentive and VERY accommodating. This place is special, unique, and unforgettable.

La ubicación del alojamiento es ideal porque está al lado de las dos calles más famosas de Setenil. Hemos disfrutado mucho y con la tranquilidad de que teníamos la casa al lado. Tanto la llegada como la salida fueron flexibles y Juan Luis estuvo muy atento a la hora de contestar a nuestros mensajes. La casa está muy bien, limpia y completa. Muy recomendable.

We had the BEST stay at Julien’s cave! The cave is super cozy and described perfectly by the photos and description. The location was ideal for outdoor activities and the town was super cute! Amazing value for what we paid!

What a beautiful and unique experience! The cave is cozy and beautifully decorated, bigger and lovelier than in the photos. Pepa and Juan were very helpful and the valley is incredibly peaceful - 2 cars passed in 3 days. There are natural hot pools with incredible views less than 30 minutes away. We will certainly return!

Leuk om een keer mee te maken. Slapen in een grot. Even wennen. Maar toen ging het goed.

The view from this location is STUNNING any time of day. It’s in the older part of town, so the streets are great to walk and explore. A ton of cafes and restaurants extremely close. The only tricky part was initially finding it! You can’t drive up to the cave, but they do make that very clear in the listing. We were unable to find free parking, so each night we had to pay 15 euro for parking, and it was about a 15 minute walk up hill. It was well worth it!

Ubicación perfecta en la montaña, colmado de paz y tranquilidad. Destacar la amabilidad de Lieve, que respetando tu intimidad está presente para lo que necesites. Nos dio algunas indicaciones sobre la casa y sobre lugares que visitar en la zona. Casa cueva muy acogedora donde cocinar en la chimenea y pasar la tarde a la luz de la candela es todo un lujo. Limpieza excelente y casa con todos los detalles para pasar unos días maravillosos rodeados de paz y naturaleza.

La estancia en la casa de Maria Jose ha sido espectacular, las fotos son totalmente como la casa. Es un lugar idóneo para estar tranquilo a parte de poder visitar todo, a parte Maria Jose está siempre atenta a cualquier cosa que necesites o quieras visitar. Sin duda repetiremos más días porque la estancia se nos hizo muy corta.

We had an incredible stay. We weren’t able to stay in the cave we had originally booked, so Carlos upgraded us to an even bigger and more beautiful cave and it completely exceeded expectation. The views from the terrace were stunning, the log fire was cosy, all the facilities and appliances were high quality and new, and the entire property was so cleverly laid out. A really special way to spend New Year.

Jorge’s place was just as pictured. The house was beautiful, clean and cozy. Jorge met us at check in and provided clear instructions, including regarding the parking. The house is located in a small village so there isn’t anything to do there, but it’s a great place to gather with a group of friends and have a good time. We went to the grocery store in the next town (12 minute easy drive) and purchased groceries and drinks. We enjoyed staying at Jorge’s house, thank you for the hospitality!

We had a fantastic stay at Khaled’s place! The apartment was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable night. Khaled was incredibly helpful, giving us great recommendations on places to visit and where to eat. The next day, when we had an issue with our car, he went out of his way to assist us, which we truly appreciated. His kindness and hospitality made our stay even better. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

Este alojamiento es muy tranquilo y tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar, llevas la comida y te la puedes hacer en barbacoa o en la cocina, la piscina con jacuzzi es muy agradable para pasar el calor. Aparcas entre arboles a la sombra y el pueblo esta a 5 minutos en coche.

We had a wonderful stay. They thought of everything and generous with snacks, towels, pillows, blankets, coffee etc. they have thought of everything and their pride in the place is evident. I highly recommend this place. We were taken on a magnificent tour up the top of the ridge by the owner. Can’t say enough. We wished we stayed more nights.

The house is fascinating- some of the downstairs rooms are actually carved out of the rock- the pictures can`t really do it justice! You got a real sense of the history of the house, whlle at the same time it had all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including the best wifi connectivity that I have ever experienced in Spain- incredible for a mountain village. The house was very well equipped for a walking holiday, with an extensive library of local guide books and maps, as well as binoculars and walking poles. Ann-Helene was extremely kind, even though we made several changes to our booking due to family issues. We appreciated her patience.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!!! Staying with Ayyoub and his family has been one of my highlights of the trip. Beyond the beauty of the actual rooms and location of the house, Ayyoub has an incredible spirit and energy that welcomes you beyond belief. He gave us local recommendations and went out of his way to help us find some things we needed. Additionally, the bread his mother made for breakfast and the soup for dinner was some of the best food I’ve had in Tunisia. We’re vegan but they had no problem preparing an incredible dish we could eat. Such a peaceful place — I wish we could have stayed longer!

We wanted an authentic experience. That’s exactly what we got. Off the beaten track and up in heart of Sacramento. It felt like a privilege to live in this historically significant area in the actual caves where generations before had been raised. The friendly neighbours were all delightful and enhanced our stay. The perfect location with its expansive views of the valley and of the Alhambra. We spent two whole days taking vantage of the beautifully quaint outdoor space where you choose shade or sun until it sets over the palace. Just a 1 minute walk from the door is a view point where locals and other tourists gather to enjoy a sangria and the sunset. So extraordinarily peaceful. Transport options are abundant if walking isn’t your thing. As somebody that has travelled a fair bit I found this whole experience magical and have certainly broadened my mind. More practical info. Beds are firm and comfortable. The no frills shower is a delight too. One happy couple here .

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à la Cueva ! Le logement est calme et la piscine magnifique. Excellent emplacement pour visiter la région. Notre hôte a été très serviable.

Would highly recommend this property ,from the minute arriving until leaving everything was perfect .Our host greeted us,with a bottle of home made wine and then showed us to the house to which I must say was beyond my expectations.The property was very homely and extremley clean . We had the most amazing view from our patio area of the Sieera Nevada mountains . Just to say if you want a relXing time with great hosts then this is the place
