Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Walk out basement to the few steps to get to the beach area. Well stocked kitchen. Recommend bringing your own water if desired ( well water I believe) . Beautiful sunsets. Game room was fun .. bring quarters to play though . Highly recommend

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

All the amenities you could want--kitchen had everything you would need. Lots of family games, toys and books for children. Every room was cozy and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend Melissa as a hostess!

Kate was an amazing host. Very communicative and understanding with people flying in from out of town and needing early check in. The place was incredible and highly recommended to anyone coming to Traverse City.

Beautiful home with lots of amenities. Family greatly enjoyed our stay, especially the pool and hot tub. Flint was quick to reply and very helpful with his responses. Highly recommend.

The Mangy Moose is the place to be! John has thought of everything! We came over our spring break (March) for fishing, so we didn't get to use all the summer amenities... But we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen (for yummy home cooked meals), awesome large dining table (for meals and games), large tv with lots of channels, beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and the kids LOVED the club house. Plus the 4-bed & 4-bath setup was perfect to blend (2) families together for a very comfortable stay for 9 people (total) for the week. This place is a true gem and we are already talking about next year!

The house was excellent and exactly what we needed for our stay in the area. Close to our venue, the area has so much to explore and do. We were able to easily get to a lot of awesome places.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin retreat! The location was perfect—set on top of a hill with tons of land to explore. It was so quiet and private, exactly what we were looking for. Our kids had an absolute blast running around and adventuring through the woods and open spaces. The whole family loved being able to disconnect and enjoy nature together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting! We also really appreciated the little things, such as the welcome bottle of wine. Great stay!

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. Such a beautiful property! It was quiet and serene. The inside was spacious but comfortable, we felt right at home! Since it was a little chilly when we went, I was still able to enjoy the views of the lake from the couch with a cup of coffee. Brenda is a great host, very responsive, provided clear instructions, and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Carl's. The pool table and hot tub are my kids favorite part.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The home was very spacious for our group of 5. We did struggle to find Ubers and Lyfts and taxis seem to book up quickly so we would suggest planning rides in advance. Other than that we couldn’t have asked for a better space and location for our trip! Annemarie is a great host and kept us informed and up to date throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely home and walking distance to everything!

This home was a perfect place for a women's mini retreat weekend. It was a very comfortable space for 6 ladies. A suggestion would be a little heater in the main floor master bath for colder months would be helpful. It is quite chilly in there. We hope to stay again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was so nice and clean and very open inside. Had just about everything we needed for our two night stay. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful property. Loved walking the trail in the woods with our dogs. Wish we had more time, but would love to come back and stay in this home again. Kelsey’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay! It had all the amenities we needed and more—everything was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The kids had a blast with the games, and the hot tub was a great way to relax. Kelsey was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

2nd time staying here and both times have been amazing. Always a super clean air bnb, Taylor is quick to respond to messages and so nice. Absolutely love staying here. The downstairs bathroom was upgraded since our first stay, and looks awesome!
