What an exquisite and inspiring view of Bethells Beach! The view from the deck was amazing. The cottage was very quiet and peaceful. John was an excellent host. We enjoyed walking the beach and hiking to Lake Waimanu past the huge dunes.

We had an amazing stay at this lovely home! The views are absolutely spectacular, and soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lush surroundings was truly magical. The house is well-equipped with everything you need, and the kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were all clean and thoughtfully set up. The location is wonderfully private, yet conveniently close to a stunning spa resort where you can enjoy delicious meals or indulge in a spa treatment with equally fabulous views. Just a heads-up: there are no shops nearby, so be sure to stock up on food and drinks before you arrive. Overall, this was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Coastal Acres Escape was nothing short of magical! This beautiful, peaceful, and homely retreat was the perfect place for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed—with a thoughtful treat of wine and muffins waiting for us. The breathtaking views were unlike anything we’ve ever seen, and every little detail in the house had been carefully considered. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for cooking, and the bathroom had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The luxurious bathtubs and bath salts made it impossible not to unwind completely. The location was stunning, the home was exquisite, and Sarah was an absolute pleasure—so friendly and easy to reach. We couldn’t recommend Coastal Acres Escape highly enough and will definitely be back to relax and recharge again!

Very nice tiny house. Central with Saturday market 2min walking distance. 5min driving from Palm Beach and Onetangi. Clean and parking spot. Very few and simple equipement for cooking.

It was exactly as it was described. A rural setting in a very quiet area. Everything was very clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable. Outside there is a lovely jacuzzi and a BBQ perfect for a summers evening. My family live close by so would definitely like to visit again.

景色がとても綺麗で、バス停から1分ほどのとてまアクセスの良いところでした。 バスは30分に1本通っているので、町まで出るのもワイナリーを巡るのも、レンタカー無しで気軽に回れた。 とにかく静かで景色も良く、とても良いロケーションだった。 ワイナリーのワインの試飲が土、日だけだったのは残念。 調理器具や簡単な調味料もあったのです 料理が楽しめました。 ジャグジーも常に暖かい。次は入りたい。 とにかく返信も早く丁寧で良かった。 また、利用したいです！

The main purpose for this trip was to help with our daughter's move to Auckland. From that, we were looking for somewhere convenient to her new place that we could use as a home base. Barbara's place was that, and more! True to the pictures, it's a lovely wee cottage with gorgeous views. Despite being in the city, the cottage is pleasantly private, looking into bush, with the bay beyond, and quiet. Moreover, the Coastal Track is just up -- or down -- the road, providing opportunities for bush walks, while restaurants and shops are also nearby and handy. We'd happily stay again on our next visit to Auckland -

Good house on stunning / sheltered small Auckland beach - large living room; well set-up kitchen; two very pretty front bedrooms and a third smaller/quieter; two good bathrooms; great verandah with chairs/table. House is down a good but tall path from a quiet street and literally a few metres from the beach, which is sheltered/shallow (and quite popular on warm days at high tide but otherwise quiet). 5-15 minutes drive to Kohimarama / St Heliers.

An amazing place to relax and unwind! The views were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect spot to escape and enjoy some peaceful time. The projector gave us a true cinema-like experience, which made our stay even more special. And the spa-pool so relaxing! It was the perfect way to end the day. The driveway was a little steep, so make sure your car brakes are in good condition. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and enjoyable getaway.

This has to be our best Airbnb experience yet and we’ve had some good ones. The cottage is everything we’d hoped for and more, beautifully presented and well equipped. A pleasure to stay in. Our hosts were just as lovely too!

We stayed at this property recently and found the space itself to be beautiful, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The location was great, and the property had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding regarding a late check-out request, which was initially agreed upon but later couldn’t be accommodated due to other bookings. While this caused some inconvenience, the host acknowledged the mistake and worked with us to provide a resolution, including a partial refund. Overall, we loved the property and would recommend it for future stays, but we suggest confirming any special arrangements with the host in advance to avoid potential misunderstandings.

Wonderful location on Waiheke Island with beautiful views and great outdoor amenities. Walkable to restaurants and stores. The house itself was comfortable and well stocked. Brad left a nice bottle of wine. We did let Brad know that the house did not seem to have been professionally cleaned before we arrived. We didn’t let that ruin our trip and still had a great time on the island.

Beautiful cottage, great peaceful surroundings with all the comforts of home. Wonderful location surrounded by fabulous forestry. Gorgeous cottage & a short drive to Oratia village. Was extremely lucky to find such wonderful accomodation to be near family less than 5 minutes away. Highly recommend to be close to Piha & the west coast beaches. Kelly is wonderful to deal with and the cottage a real asset in a great setting. Will definitely book again, thank you Kelly.

Was a great location! A close and easy walk to the beach. Very clean and comfortable place. A quick drive to downtown Auckland but a nice peaceful distance from the big city. It was perfect! I would highly recommend staying here!

Our daughter was getting married at a local venue, and the location of Lichfields Cottage was perfect for the bridal party's preparation for the big day. The cottage was comfortable and clean, and Kirsty provided a very useful list of local amenities and was responsive yet remained discreet. Thank you Kirsty for your kindness and we enjoyed our daily visits from the dog and the chickens. A wonderful distraction for our nervius bridesmaids.

Wow! What a beautiful location and what an amazing home. The house has every amenity you could want and as a keen cook the kitchen is so well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with beautiful linen. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and didn't want to to leave! Thank you so much for letting us share a little bit of paradise on Waiheke! We will be back!

As architecture buffs, it was a treat to stay in this carefully renovated Craftsman bungalow. This is a small house with a big personality and we loved it. Looking out over the large Auckland Domain Park is like having your own country view in the midst of a vibrant, bustling city neighbourhood. Elliott has thought of everything to make his guests’ stay as comfortable and homey as possible. The place is spotless and the beds remarkably comfortable. And Elliott is so helpful and easy to reach. He knows his city well so his suggestions of things to do and places to eat are spot on. Stay here, you’ll love it😊

This little place was a coastal gem and perfect for our stay. Gay was easy to communicate with and the cottage was cute and wonderfully curated. In fact we wished we had booked another couple of nights to completely chill out. It was extremely peaceful and a delight sitting on the verandah watching the sunrise. We would love to go back !

Loved staying at Stuart’s place. Worked very well for our family weekend away with three kids. Short drive away from beautiful beach with lovely surf. Great host!
