Maison Marvel is handy to Britomart shopping and restaurants, the ferries to Devonport and Waiheke, and a short pleasant walk through Albert Park to the Art Gallery, University and the Queen St movies. If you have a car, you're close to the Southern and Western Highway on-ramps for day trips out of the city. These factors more than make up for the immediate neighbourhood, which is fairly ordinary. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, and Kane is a responsive, generous host. I'd happily recommend it to anyone needing a base for a stay in Auckland.

Thank you so much for having us! My dad and I had a great stay. Gordon was so helpful and accomodating, provided us an early check in at not cost, helped us sort extra linen for the sofa bed (which was very comfortable!) and was a gem the whole trip. Also the sweet puppy who sometimes pops up outside is a delight. Amazing stay and well worth the price, would absolutely come back. Only 15mins to the city was so convenient.

We had a truly wonderful stay here. The unit was spacious, light and very private. It had all the amenities you would need. Also very clean and tidy. Silvana and Neno were fabulous hosts! We would highly recommend this spot to our family and friends. Thank you for having us!

Great mini break in Phil's lovely spot in Parnell. Was easy from whoa to go and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We will certainly be back! Well appointed, technologically savy townhouse close to Parnell and the Domain. Beautiful outlook over the trees and outlooks to the Auckland Museum and Sky Tower. Comfy beds, excellent shower and a well equipped kitchen all make this a standout property. One tiny thing to note is this property is down a long steep driveway and parking is on the roadside, so may not be suitable for everyone. Never had trouble finding a park though and got a good workout before any car ride! Super close to some lovely restaurants and cafes in Parnell which made things easy and a short car ride to Newmarket. Phil has a great spot and I couldn't recommend it enough.

The house was perfect for the five of us. It has lots of space, the hosts were very generous with the condiments and the space was light, comfortable and really clean and tidy. The wi fi was also brilliant!. While the house is nice and peaceful it is a short drive to the shops and about 10 minutes from the beach. We didn’t find this a problem and Leone and Mark were awesome to deal with.

A decent sized studio in a great location. Communication from Cannelle was great, she was responsive and gave us a late check out. No air con but it wasn't too bad at this time of the year.

Perfect stay at Josh’s place which is very well located next to Ponsonby road. Calm, clean and sunny appartment with all necessary amenities. Highly recommended for your trip in Auckland !

My two sisters and I had a great stay. The unit is light, sunny and had everything we needed. Very good walking distance to the Viaduct area and downtown Auckland. It was lovely sitting on the wee balcony in the morning and evening, with the Harbour bridge lit up in the distance. Pam left good information, and responded immediately with helpful advice to the only question we had. This was an excellent spot to base ourselves for a weekend in the city, we would come again.

Lisa was so lovely, and we loved staying at her place. It was even better than the photos! An amazing kitchen for cooking, a pool, a spa, and spacious comfortable areas throughout made for the perfect getaway. Lisa was super friendly and helpful throughout, we would absolutely stay here again.

The place was exactly as depicted. It was clean and spacious, excellent for an extended stay in Auckland!

Lynley and David's place was the accommodation highlight of our 1 month in New Zealand. The front and back decks were wonderfully set up to relax at all times of the day.. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes which gave us a nice option of eating in or driving the few km to Thames for a meal out. I hope we're able to return.

We absolutely loved our stay at Donna and Marks. The most beautiful, modern little home in a peaceful, private spot. The Bach has everything you could possibly need during your stay and Donna was an excellent host, making sure the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. We would love to visit again!

The stay was awesome! The location is perfect—within walking distance to everything: Lost Springs, supermarkets, and the beach. The house is clean and well-maintained. It is suitable for long stays. we've stayed at 6 bachs in Piha now, and this is the best. not cheap, but you get what you pay for. great facilities, great decor and lots of nice touches and location is unbeatable with views over the beach. one thing is that the upstairs and downstairs are 2 separate units both with their own bathrooms and kitchens. this would be great for 2 couples, one with a kid or two, but the levels are not internally connected. we just had it for the two of us and never went to the lower level.

I love love love this place !! We didn’t want to leave , we didn’t meet Elly in person but she was so amazing 😍, definitely going back to this place we LOVED it !

We stay in short-term rentals a LOT. Searching for an exceptional property where you know you will be comfortable and enjoy your time there can be stressful. Let me make it easy for you. The 40+ five-star ratings this property has are for good reason. If this property is available for your desired dates, stop searching and book it. The only nit-picky complaint we had was the lighting in the main bedroom's bathroom. There is a window opposite the mirror. While it provides great natural light, you must keep the shade down when using the mirror. Otherwise, the backlight makes it difficult to see your face clearly in the mirror. Bottom line: whether you are staying for a couple of days or several weeks, you will be very happy that you landed in this lovely property.

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Great host, clear instructions, respond to questions fast. Apartment was clean, cozy, spacious with excellent views! We, a family with 4 adults enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Linley's apartment was perfect! A beautifully setup place to relax in which had everything you needed, even down to a portacot for our little one. There a as also a swimming pool, spa and a carpark available. A quick walk to lovely cafes, and the Viaduct and downtown CBD. Just a perfect location! Linley was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and we would most definitely recommend a stay at this awesome air bnb. Thanks so much for everything Linley, and also to Karin! 🙂

I would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone and I will be checking Monica's Airbnb for all my future stays in Auckland. The location was amazing with views of the viaduct and walking distance to amazing restaurants and cafes. A beautiful rooftop garden to add some privacy and elegance to the stay and a wonderful balcony to relax on with a coffee. Monica was incredibly helpful and was super responsive.
