This was the second time my husband & i have enjoyed a long extended mountain weekend. Cabin is up to date, clean, with beautiful views & a nice hot tub! Close to Canaan Valley State Park, Black Water Falls , and the Dolly Sods. We can’t wait to book again!

I'm very pleased with the place we were coming through and needed one night we had a 37 foot RV and they greated us outside at 9:30 pm to help us get RV in and park . I did get stung by a wasp and the husban came quickly to bring wasp spray and they were going to make sure there was no wasp nest outside or in the home when we checked out early morning besides that which is a uncontrollable situation since it is a cabin they went above and beyond and the cabin was just so perfect with everything you need to feel comfortable we wish we could have stayed longer and explore but won't get to but that one night made a true experience just with how the host was attentive to our need of help .

The house was exactly what we expected based on the listing. The house was clean, modern and we enjoyed the lake views. Our family also enjoyed the privacy of the backyard for the fire pit and hot tub. A lot of homes in this area have steep driveways and we appreciate that this house’s driveway wasn’t that steep. It could easily hold two cars. We also had great communication with from the host. This was a great stay for our family of 4!

My wife and I needed a trip away from the city for the long holiday weekend where we could enjoy some good activity in peaceful surroundings with our dog. This cozy pedestal cabin in Black Bear Resort was just what we were looking for. Check in was easy by picking up the keys at the resort lodge. The place had everything we needed to a cook a couple nights for ourselves, including the gas grill on the deck. The wall-mounted 4K flatscreen TV with Roku let us relax after three active days out and about in Canaan Valley while we listened to the thunderstorms roll over the mountains each evening. This would certainly be a fine place for folks (especially with kids -- there were two sets of bunk beds in the loft) to use a base for their WV adventures any time of year!

Served our family well for a 2 night stay in Franklin! Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Close proximity to town. Great communication from the host. Easy check-in and check-out. Would highly recommend and will book again!

Cheryl was a very responsive host with a beautiful venue -- it was private and peaceful but still close to the lake and a short drive to local coffee shops, breweries, and pizza. My kids got a kick out of the lofted bunk beds an spiral staircase. It was helpful that there was onsite laundry. Would stay again!

This was a nice place to stay, it has a very nice view and easy access to the main road. It also had good size parking for all vehicles which we usually struggle with. We also got a quick response to a concern we had. And Even tho our trip was cut short we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Brittany's AirBnB was a great spot for a weekend ski trip to White Grass! The place was spacious and the location couldn't be beat. Check-in/check-out were easy (once we went to the right building--in the dark we mistook a breakfast spot for the office). It would've been nice to have some shampoo and conditioner provided for guests so that we didn't have to bring our own. Otherwise, it was a quiet and cozy space, and we appreciated the wide kitchen/dining area for playing board games and making breakfast!
