This is how a private rental should be! From the initial contact right through to our checkout, we felt like we were simply heading up to our own space for a few days. We felt like welcomed guests, (you know how some hosts make you feel like you are a bother...not Teri!) and everything was as we hoped it would be. A very clean space with all the amenities that were listed, plus a few extras. Plenty of space to spread out. The updates to the bathrooms were so nice! The Fire and Frost restaurant is literally across the street which is convenient and the slopes are literally out the back door (maybe a steep walk for some, but if you are capable of skiing that part of the mountain then the walk should be no trouble---if this is your first time skiing, don't plan to ski out your back door) The firewood came in handy for a cozy fire. This felt like a second home (well cared for) more than a rental...well done and we would certainly consider staying again!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay! Emilie’s Airbnb was super cute and cozy. Also, the location is perfect. Within a few blocks we were in downtown Staunton.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The huge windows provided stunning views of the slopes, and we loved watching the skiers. Each morning, we were treated to breathtaking sunrises. The house was full of thoughtful touches, like a guitar, ukulele, and even a telescope for stargazing. The location was perfect! Right across the street was a golf course where we could take our dog for walks along the cart path. After long days of skiing (including tackling the black diamond trails!), we enjoyed cozy family dinners in the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed to make meals. The house was also super convenient, with plenty of charging stations so everyone could keep their devices powered. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we were well-rested for another day on the slopes. The neighborhood was peaceful, and parking was never an issue. This was the perfect home base for our ski trip, and we would absolutely stay again!

Slavic's place was perfect for our family of four! He included detailed instructions about where to park, how to get in, and about Wi-Fi. We felt very safe, and everything was very clean. It was a quiet neighborhood, and we barely heard his parents above us—just a few footsteps in the morning. The filtered water and spotless, full-size fridge were quite nice. My boys were delighted by the full-sized complimentary chocolate bars. The linens were clean and quality materials, and the beds were super comfortable. There were pull-down shades, which are helpful, but if you want total darkness, I would bring blackout curtains and painter's tape. There are many outlets and mirrors, so people can get ready just about anywhere. We liked the automatic light outside the bathroom so you could see during the night. We also appreciated that we could lock the door that led to the second floor for peace of mind. Thank you for an incredible stay! We will absolutely be back!

We contacted the host for a last-minute booking the day before we were scheduled to arrive. Host was very responsive and got us booked immediately. The Augusta suite was perfect! We didn’t want to leave and even requested an extension of our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Hoping to stay here again in the future.

Great stay! It was great bringing our pet on our snowboarding trip. Plenty of room and pet friendly in suite 1. Great location for local breweries, hiking, and snow sports. The bed was super comfy! Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed staying at Kirsten's and Chris's. The place was easy to find, super clean, and very comfortable. Kirsten and Chris responded within minutes whenever we communicated with them. We had to leave a day early due to a snowstorm, so they refunded us for most of the second night of our booking. Wonderful experience!

I had a great experience at this Airbnb. We were on a roadtrip from FL to NY and were so drained from driving. Our GPS told us we had arrived to our Airbnb and turns out I had actually placed the wrong address in the GPS so we had been going the wrong direction to the ORIGINAL Airbnb entire time! We really didn’t want to drive 2 more hours to get to the original Airbnb, so I went to searching to see if we could just find somewhere to rest! I found this cute little place and Sharon understood our situations and accepted us on such short notice, she greeted us and showed us around the place and we just felt so right at home. I couldn’t even be upset about the mixup and not being able to go to the original Airbnb because this one was such a blessing! Everything happens for a reason!

Perfect spot for our family ski weekend! Cozy and beautifully decorated! We had such a good time skiing and then coming back and relaxing together here. Highly recommend!

Jill's place was very convenient for our son & his family on a recent visit. The kids enjoyed seeing the goats. Would definitely rent again in the future.

Perfect for a quick getaway for my friends and I! The best part was being super close to the ski slopes/snow tubing and the late check out. We originally planned on just one day of skiing and snowboarding, but got to get in a couple extra hours with the late check out and close proximity. Thanks Carissa!
