Such a beautiful place to unwind for the weekend! It’s conveniently located close to the south end of the Shenandoah NP, and there are multiple breweries and vineyards nearby if you aren’t up for hiking. Mary and David were wonderful hosts and we definitely enjoyed our interactions with them (and the furry friends). The house itself is big and homely, with a huge backyard and there’s also a patio for stargazing on clear nights. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!

This house was amazing! The view was beautiful and the house was very spacious. William was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Harrisonburg area!

La casa di Karen era nel posto più tranquillo in cui sia mai stato. Era confortevole e sembrava di essere a casa propria. Tutto molto pulito. Karen è molto socievole e simpatica e i suoi uccellini fanno molta compagnia. Ad un passo dalla James Madison university, tutto a portata di auto in meno di 10 minuti. Spero di tornare

It was our first time visiting Staunton and Beth gave us lots of ideas about the area. She was a super great host and very friendly. She gave us our space but was always available if we needed her. I would definitely stay at Beth and Janly's again!!!

Great spot! I was visiting for parents weekend and it worked great. They communicated really well and we totally felt at home. The house is super clean and the hosts are really nice! We would give this 5 stars and will def come back in the area

This space was as it appears on the pics and had a lot more things to do. The surrounding is beautiful and great for hiking. I loved every bit of it, from the beautiful dog to the nice chickens. This space has a lot to do and the host was good to me. Will definitely book again when I’m back that area. I recommend it.

My second stay, and I've no complaints. Hosts are very responsive if you have a question. Will absolutely stay again.

What a dream of a place this is, we wish we were staying a week instead of a day. The breakfast was warming and delicious. I cannot explain the decor and setup , except to say- the room was like it came from HGTV and the whole place had all the bells and whistles

The bed was SO comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic! Love the location to walk around town. We always enjoy our stay at the JW house!

We absolutely loved our stay! I honestly cannot wait to go back. It was quiet and secluded, beautifully curated and everything we were hoping for. Like going camping, but with some major upgrades. Breakfast was delicious, Ray and Rosemary are delightful, and overall we felt like it was our own private little place. It’s no frills, but all charm

What a fun stay! We got to witness the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen here. The animals on the farm are so friendly. I was able to take my dog for the stay and he met bigger animals for the first time and they became friends instantly. I loved what they have done with opening up the family farm to enjoy. It was very personable and they made us feel like family. The homemade country breakfast was also one of my favorites. We were visiting the area hiking and decided to stay since it was a few hours away and I am glad we were able to stay here. Although our visit was short, it was sweet. Thank you for welcoming my family.. beautiful stay.

We stayed here in Nov 2024. Ms Linda is a great host! The listing mentioned a continental breakfast. That’s the only inaccurate thing about the listing as her breakfast was outstanding! It’s a full blown meal and delicious! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, cozy, remote, rustic and relaxing. Very nice setup indeed. We will definitely stay again in the future. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay and breakfast was delicious! The room was immaculate and the bed was comfortable! Walking the farm and feeding the animals was a highlight. Highly recommend!
