We really enjoyed our stay at Sally's place – this cottage was exactly what we needed during our 4-day stay in Taupō. The cottage is a short drive away from the town centre, and we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of Acacia Bay. The space had everything that we needed (and more!), and Sally was extremely welcoming and friendly whenever we had the opportunity to chat.

From the first time we entered the house, the view was amazing. The house is stunning with a million dollar view of Lake Taupo. The location is great and convenient. We love every second staying there. And Kerry was very responsive. Thank you for sharing the house !

We three people stayed here for one night. Easy to find and rather private accomodation. The place is part of their main house, but you have your own private access. Nice view into the mountains and the lake from your own balcony. The rooms are very tidy and clean with a very functional kitchen. We slept really well and enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The stay at this house was great! Our family of eight, including two under two, found the location and properties amenities perfect for a family night in and enjoying each other’s property! Vess’ instructions for our stay were spot on and left us without questions from the moment we arrived until we left. Her communication was amazing from the moment we booked our stay. Would most definitely recommend this home to visit when going to Ohakune! 😊

My group and I had a great time at this house. it was easily able to accommodate 10+ adults and had space for all of us to relax and make the most of our time there. Barry was a great host, very responsive to messaging and flexible with our groups requests. We would happily come back.

Fantastic home, surrounded by the mountains. Perfect for travelling families. I loved that it had two bathrooms, especially when there is lots of movement in the mornings. Chris was incredibly flexible in accommodating my family, went above and beyond! Would love to come back in the ski season.

This was my second stay. It is a idyllic location: private but accessible, with a beautiful outlook. It is well maintained with all the facilities that you need with a few delightful extra touches that make you feel a valued guest.
