We stayed here for 3 days and 2nights and I must say if you really want to relax and be with the nature , this is the place to be! Its so relaxing and you’ll just hear the birds on the trees while swimming in the pool. I especially love the trees sorrounding the place! Although its like a compound, you’ll still get the privacy you needed since the place is full of trees! If you’re a nature lover you’ll definitely love the place. Although I think the house can do some improvement it’s still worth it. The air condition from the middle room leaks and a there’s some rattling noise. Also it can get hot in there during the day. I also think it lacks some kitchen utensils and bowls. But still the place is great we really enjoyed our stay there specially the kids, they enjoyed the swing the tree house and the pool! Will definitely go back in here ❤️

Jessal’s place is really nice and peaceful. I am recommending this place when seeking for a more quiet, and relaxing stay in Baler.

Jessal was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I was so sad, I thought we were not able to push through our visit due to the aftermath of the typhoon Pepito around the area and we have to cancel our booking. Glad that 2 days before our supposed stay, their electricity power was back! It feels like meant to be. Jessal also grant us a complimentary upgrade of our room and we were so thankful. Their staff is very helpful and polite, the ambiance/location of the place was so serene and peaceful. I would recommend this to my friends and family, and we will surely be back!

Jessal, Haji, and Ate Joy were really helpful throughout our stay. They were responsive to our needs and provided recommendations to make our stay special. The place was as described. It was clean, private, and quiet. Location is quite a distance from the more popular Sabang beach but the area has its own charm with the quiet beaches, rock formations, and local community. Highly recommended especially for those who want to slow down and just want to have some peace and quiet. If coming without a vehicle, Ate Joy can assist you with Kuya Paket, her trusty tricycle driver who is equally helpful.

Highly recommended bed & breakfast in Baler, glad to discover this peaceful and relaxing place. Spacious suite, with very accommodating staffs. Plus, we really enjoyed their Vegan breakfast. Superb! Worth every penny!

sir mario and ms toni were quick to respond whenever we have questions and requests during our stay. their dogs are also friendly and very well behaved. will definitely come back! 🫶🏻

Mario was very responsive to our needs and quickly provided solutions to the issues we encountered. He also gave great recommendations! The place is located near the beach and good local eating spots and cafes. The room looked like the advertised photos. It was clean and comfortable. Balai by Dogtown is good value for money and will definitely stay here when we end up in Baler again. Also big bonus is they were so accomodating to our dog!

Wish we discovered Balai sooner! Thank you Mario for the space - simple, clean, quiet, just a few blocks to the beach, with great food places nearby.
