Charles and Sally’s chalet is located only a few minutes from the centre of Pemberton. The chalet adjoins their house and sits within their 6 acre garden, which is a stunning oasis floral tranquility. It was a delight to be out on the deck and watch the copious amount of varied bird life that visit and feed. The stunning gardens are testament to the hard work and dedication Charles and Sally commit to their upkeep. The chalet is well equipped, providing everything you want need for a comfortable stay. Sally and Charles very kindly left us some breakfast cereal, milk, tea, coffee, eggs (from their own chickens) and some lovely home made biscuits to help us settle in. We met Charles and Sally (and Hudson their friendly Golden Retriever) when we arrived and we departed. They are a lovely and friendly couple who respect their guest’s privacy. If you’re looking for a unique, peaceful base whilst enjoying the area, Charles and Sally’s chalet would be ideal.

We had a wonderful two nights in this adorable chalet, so close to the town and train station. We especially loved the private outside space and appreciated the lovely local bread, fruit and preserves left for us. Our hosts couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, thanks guys 😊

We loved our stay at Karridale Cottages. Its the second time we have stayed and it is a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The photos don’t do the views justice - both sunrise and sunset are spectacular! Mark was flexible and responsive and we were able to arrive at last minute late in the evening after being rescued off a mountain by helicopter. This was the PERRFECT place to rest and recuperate after a big adventure in the mountains, with spectacular views of mt wellington, an incredibly comfortable and good sized bed, and great location for sunrise and sunset drives to the top of mt wellington and just 15 mins into Hobart centre with great vegan cafes. Loved the stay. We even extended for an extra 2 nights.

Our stay at Vicki’s chalet was as we had hoped. The facilities were spotless and the chalet was an easy walk to the village and lifts. As it’s situated along the river the surroundings are peaceful with views into the trees and up the mountain. The living spaces were comfortable and well appointed. Thanks for the experience.

We can say nature at his best. We really enjoyed the stay and cottage was very spacious and nice to stay and I would say it’s a must visit place.

Sandy's Place was Adorable. We felt very welcomed and the place was easy to access. We were met with dozens of kangaroos which was so lovely to see. The area and surrounds were so peaceful and relaxing. The big backyard was awesome where we spent the afternoon and playing pickleball and had a BBQ We felt at home right from the moment we arrived. We would visit again for sure

We had great fun and kids loved the lodge. The location was beautiful and the tracks accessible. perfect place for trekking in the snowys in summer.

Great location at Dinner Plain - easy to get to ski hire, cafe, pub etc. Accomodation was set up really well with bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of space downstairs for family to relax, enjoy the wood burning fireplace and the view. Simmone was great, communicated clearly and well. Loved it!

Another amazing stay. If you’re in doubt about the snow conditions, this is the perfect place because it’s an experience in itself!

Tania’s place is perfect clean and well equipped. All amenities and things were perfect and complete. She has perfect attitude to every detail as per number of guests listed. House is comfortable and clean. Loved every bit of it.

We loved our holiday in the Red Onion. It had all you could possibly want for a fabulous ski holiday. The chalet was thoughtfully equipped with all the basics plus so many wonderful extras, which made for a delightful stay (laundry powder, herbs and spices, huge range of books and entertainment). Di and George were wonderful hosts who gave us clear and easy to follow instructions with thoughtful local information and welcoming treats too. We would definitely like to return to the charming Red Onion in the future.

We had an amazing week enjoying the magnificent views from this beautiful house. The house was very well appointed with every item you could need in the kitchen and two sumptuous bathtubs to soak in after hiking or biking the surrounding mountains. There’s so much room in the house which is great when you’re there with your in-laws! Having access to the resorts facilities also made this house worth the price - we enjoyed archery, swimming and sauna but there was so much more we could’ve done. Oh and the beds were super comfortable!! Would most definitely stay there again!!

Great for a group as beds split to king singles but message separately to remind them. Handy 3 bathrooms/toilets. Nice gas fire place though lower floor (2 bedrooms) was colder than top floors (hot air rises). Kitchen was a bit small if more than 2 cooking or packing dishwasher but we took turns. Lovely large dining table to sit around and chat. They don’t tell you exact location - is Friday Flat (Google Snowsteam apartments - Mackenzie Pl) park in car park nearby (garage an angle to get into). 900m walk to Thredbo village/chairlift to Mt K. Need to fill in paperwork for Lantern Group 3.42pm before 4pm entry on email link separate to AirBnB (contrary to AirBnB comms recommendations) ensure access to email on phone and mobile reception - 3.42pm email states “The Arrival Instructions for your apartment will be sent once the guest registration has been completed and this process is required for access to your property.” Text received 3.28pm with lockbox # and to check email.

Great roomy accommodation that catered to our needs easily. Plenty of bathrooms available and rooms were of good size. Definitely perfect for our weekend with a large group. David was an easy to get along with host and is ready to help any step of the way. will definitely be top of our list for next visit in the area where larger gatherings are needed

Samphire chalets are one of the most impressive places we have stayed in.

Fabulous place to spend a few days. Lots of room and outdoor areas. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Very central to everything the area has to offer.

Nicole's place is so special, probably the best place to experience Tasmania's lake district. The cottage is gorgeous, so cleverly made that everything is comfortable, easy to use and your focus is always on the lake which is stunning no matter what the weather. It was great to meet Nicole and chat about the area and the cottage's construction. We definitely could have stayed longer.

AMAZING!!!! I’m not even sure where to start. There were so many wonderful things about Ruse Estate.. i’m not even sure where to start.I could only describe it as Australian Tuscany. Surrounded by beautiful rolling vineyards. So quiet, you could hear a pin drop except for the kookaburra’s and various species of parrots singing in the background!!! if you’re looking for a quiet, unique stay, a little off the beaten path… This is the place for you!! We arrived with an early check-in that helped us out tremendously as we got there a little early. We had a wrench thrown into our weekend with some car trouble, Karen went above and beyond her host duties, and even called a personal friend to help us out, which we were able to fix and go on with our weekend! The Airbnb itself was modern and very clean, Big beautiful TV.. very comfortable bed, and we were delighted by the welcoming of freshly made sourdough bread made by Karen herself and a local bottle of wine!! Highly recommend!!! 100/10!💕

Very kind Host and his wife. He provided us everything with reasonable price. including pick-up service to the airport and semenggoh park, plus a brief tracking tour around the accommodation. enjoyed a lot

Our family of 6 had an amazing time at Lake Oberon Estate. It had everything we needed and more. Julie was a lovely host, she was very helpful, responsive and accomodating. Looking forward to staying here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Would be a fantastic spot in winter also.

Great location close to trail heads. Nice and close to town. Great shed set up for bikes. Could do with some extra storage in the kitchen, and bigger fridge especially if you have 8 or more people. But if mtb is all you care about then this place is great, can’t beat the location.
