Great place to say, the welcome pack was a lovely touch and everything was very clean. The space itself is bigger and even nicer than it appears in the photos. Would recommend bringing togs if you intend to use the outdoor bath as there is some visibility from the road/neighbouring property (not invasive or anything though!).

A charming , beautiful, private and very comfortable historic cottage. We felt right at home immediately. Fiona was a communicative host. Location excellent. Highly recommended.

Living in the forest was a wonderful experience, with plenty of wildlife to admire. However, the toilet door was broken and couldn’t be opened once closed, which was a bit unsettling and felt like being trapped. They will charge an additional fee (after confirmed booking) if you bring two dogs. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable.

Loved our stay. Lovely place, quiet and beautiful. The peacocks were just simply a delightful added touch .

Cute little one bedroom cottage with a study. Lovely outdoor spa and well equip kitchen. Excellent communication and easy key check in. Close to town - 1km walk along the highway. Cottage is near highway, so there is car noise.

We had a short but great stay at Michelle’s cottages close to the beach , comfortable bed, and everything we needed . What I also very much appreciate if there is soap, towels and oil vinegar salt and pepper in the kitchen , there was also coffee and tea and fresh eggs from her garden 🥰

We had a delightful stay at Judiths place. It lived up to all the wonderful reviews - if ever you need a place to recharge your batteries then is it! We will be back.

We felt so welcome and at home with Laura & Nicks cosy comfy cottage. It had everything we needed and more. It was a shame we only had one night to stay, we would definitely loved to have stayed longer. It was a peaceful and private place to rest. Our hosts were easy and friendly to communicate with and very thoughtful and kind with all the provisions as well as cooling the cottage before our arrival for added comfort. Such an easy check-in/out. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Joanne’s place it’s in a perfect location everything you need is walking distance beach, restaurants ect. Nice secured back yard and a fenced off veranda out the front which our dog loved. Would definitely recommend Joanne’s place if you’re heading to Apollo Bay.

Absolutely beautiful little weekend getaway for two couples and a dog. Great kitchen, separate sleeping spaces and the views out of the lounge over the dam were magnificent.

Very relaxing and quiet location. You have everything you need in these lovely cottages. We enjoyed our stay and seeing the kangaroos each day. Jacqueline and Gavin are great hosts.

A beautiful secluded and quiet place surrounded by nature. Very comfy king bed and lovely linen with good reading lamps beside the bed. Well set up for self catering. Picking fresh tomatoes and herbs from the cottage garden was great. The highlight was definitely the fab bath on the deck!! Great water pressure and deep bath for soaking. We hope to return one day and highly recommend to others.

Urchin Cottage is a beautiful home in a quiet residential location, it provided everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The unit and the area is very peaceful, and the outlook across the paddocks is lovely from the verandah. Bronwyn was a kind and attentive host, we had everything we needed and we had a lovely stay.

This was the second time we've stayed at Sally & Phil's cottage and we had such a wonderful time! It's the most relaxing spot and we felt right at home. Sally even provided fresh eggs from their chooks that were delicious! The spot is ideal, really close to wineries but remote enough to feel like you can switch off. We'll definitely be back again and thanks so much for hosting us :)

A beautiful old cottage with lots of history. Lovely view of the bush from the front verandah. Suzette's communication was excellent all the way through with very clear instructions.

Last minute getaway for 1 night and our only disappointment was that we should have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived we felt a sense of calm and peace. The perfect getaway if you want to experience quiet and peaceful surroundings. Well equipped and great hosts. Longer stay on the cards next time Peter and Teresa.

Fabulous place to stay. Perfect for a couple, pristine and peaceful. Lots to do in the area and host recommendations were excellent. Hosts (Nicolette and Grant) were very friendly and helpful. (Wallabies in the garden last night ❤️) Would love to return again when we are in the area.
