Joe and Odette made us feel like family on our vacation to Raratonga. If you want a personal experience with a loving Cook family, and a few funny animals, this is place visit. Odette graciously welcomed us with a Cook Island family style breakfast feast. We enjoyed quickly getting to know the other guests as food was being passed right and left. I was even taught how to open my coconut to enjoy the milk. The hosts went "above and beyond " to provide helpful tips and services to all their guests which made our time with them so meaningful. We would love to return, wake up to jolly roosters, and listen to Joe and Odette's life stories at the breakfast table. I would especially recommend "The Jolly Rooster" if you have young children.

We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time snorkeling the lagoon. A really lovely spot to sit and enjoy the day with great views. The location is great with wigmores across the road, with everything you could need, yummy ice creams too! We enjoyed our stay here, very spacious and comfortable house and Tony was a great host.

Perfect location! The house had everything we needed. The location is beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Easily walkable to Wigmores and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Rachel’s place was so good! It was perfect and even better it is right across the road from Kaps which is open til 12am! So we walked over o get midnight snacks or anything we needed. Villis is right there also and of course they say it’s the best burgers in town, and they weren’t lying! The rooms were spacious and the pool was very handy since we could t swim in that area if the beach. We did have a few problems with ants and fire ants but there’s nothing a bit of bug spray can’t fix! Loved this place and love how responsive host were! Definitely will be coming back if I ever get the chance again x

Sea Turtle Lodge was absolutely perfect for our group of 9. The pool was our favourite place, and the deck area provided a great space for us to all sit and hang out. The rooms were a good size and everything was as described, we actually thought the photos didn’t do it justice. The only improvement would be aircon - the bedrooms upstairs were extremely hot at night and we didn’t find the unit upstairs cooled it down at all. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

The pictures don't do justice to how amazing this place is. The ocean views are incredible and getting to hear the waves crashing each day. Best way to start your day with the cool breeze. Nice location where it's close to town, Muri Beach and the amazing Love Cafe. A++ and would stay again 👍🏾

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the owner Sue. She was extremely helpful and informative. The accommodation was great with a fantastic view of the reef and perfect sunrises. The 3 dogs and 3 cats and heaps of chickens were entertaining. I flew solo but would be great for a couple as well. Thanks Sue !!

This property was excellent - it is surrounded by the ocean on one side, where we all got to hone our snorkeling skills, spent time swimming or simply watching the sunset from the beautiful white sand beach's, whilst on the other side of the property a fresh water stream runs through the property, where we all got to watch eels and little fish and also little crayfish. Anchors Rest accommodates larges families which was great for us, spacious enough to provide individual space yet comfy enough to bring you all together, the 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom was ample enough for our family, the external patio and vast grounds and of course the 8metre swimming pool, i can tell you, this pool definitely was well used by all. Our host, Mark, courteous, responsive to our emails, welcoming, thank you for hosting us. Anchors Rest is a definite must if needing accommodation in beautiful Rarotonga, close to all amenities. We will miss our lovely neighbors, Thank you Anchor's Rest

Noeline was an excellent host with a beautiful home in a convenient location. Our stay was more than wonderful and Noeline was very accommodating and welcoming and we are very grateful to her for our time here in Rarotonga. Meitaki Maata
