We had a really great time at Crab Orchard House! It was a beautiful property and had so much character. My kids loved the old time charm and was close to all the fun things to do in the mountains! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely our favorite cabin! This was our second time staying here and we didn't want to leave. We have 3 boys aged 13 and under and this place fits the bill. The location is beautiful, the view is fantastic, the cabin is cozy w a lovely fireplace and a Foosball table, darts, boardgames, books, toys, even an Xbox! My boys specifically requested that we return to this cabin. Greg is the best and extremely responsive and helpful. Oh! Don't miss eating out at the Speckled Trout in town! Fantastic meal.

The best location for a ski trip! Maybe 40 feet to the lift! The parking area for the cabin was great. We used the bed of my truck to store our gear in, it was extremely convenient. The house was great. I love when a house has spices and things we usually forget to pack. Also a fully stocked kitchen with cookware which made eating in very easy. Bedrooms were great and we had way more than enough room. 10/10! We will be back!

This is our 3rd time staying at one of Yvonne's rentals and 1st time at Our Nest. They never disappoint. Things we love about Our Nest: *Great location *Plenty of space *Gas Logs Fireplace *Barnwood throughout home *Comfortable beds and furniture *Mountain Views (we saw deer one morning!) *All the amenities (fantastic coffee bar, snacks (the good ones!) provided, eggs, juice, and milk in the fridge when we got here!, stuff to make s'mores, bathroom toiletries...it's like a gift shop in your home, but you don't have to buy it - it's just here! *Yvonne - the owner - always available, always kind! ❤️❤️❤️

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. Thanks again Wesley for letting us use your place!

Second stay. Wonderful place for larger groups/families. Winds knocked power lines down & small fire started. Brittany not only messaged me to make sure we were okay, she also sent her dad over to check on us! Can’t ask for a better host. This is home away from home.

We had the best time and loved our view of the slopes from the porch! The pool and hot tub area was so nice and everyone was so friendly. Our son had a great time. It was a very kid friendly environment. Sherrie was an awesome communicator and very sweet. We will definitely be back.

Amy’s place was just what we were hoping it would be for a place to stay during a two day ski trip to Beech Mountain. Listing was just as described. Amy very friendly and helpful.

Nannies Nest was exactly as described and pictured. Our first night there the weather was extremely cold but this airbnb has everything you need to keep cozy. Tons of linens and blankets to choose from. Kitchen nicely equipped for cooking needs. The place was extra clean no dust anywhere. Eunice was very quick responding to questions. Wi-fi was excellent.

Have been here with my girlfriend for her birthday. We had a wonderful stay. Its a nice peaceful place.

Crystal’s place was perfect for me, my wife, and the kids. We come back to Banner talk in June and if available we will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The boys were out skiing almost every moment, and I was able to ski for a few hours and then come back and work in peace and quiet with a n ice view of the mountains. The place was comfortable and cozy and it was easy to get to both Beech Mt and Sugar Mt ski resorts.

Kevin was a very friendly host and his wife even made us cookies and offered to make us breakfast. Very sweet people and we will definitely stay again.

I had an incredible stay at this cabin! It was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway, and the attention to detail made it feel like home. The location was a little different than I expected, but it was still a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. Every moment was enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Luxurious cabin is definitely accurate! What a beautiful view of what I'm pretty sure was the profile of Grandfather Mountain from inside the house, as well as from the deck and hot tub. Incredible sunrises, clearest stars I've ever seen, and we even got to make a snowman in the backyard because we were lucky to get snow during our stay. Despite this, the driveway and roads to Blowing Rock were easy to navigate and safe. Walking in the area was beautiful, even with a wind advisory, though we did bundle up, incluidng our dog. Thanks for a stay to remember, Steve!

Great location, cabin was very clean and cozy. Host was very responsive. Answered all questions thoroughly and immediately. Had a blast, even got to sled down the hill in the backyard!! Would stay at this cabin again on the future.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kendall’s cabin. It was very cozy and comfortable. Location is great. Very close to Hawksnest Snow Tubing park and only a short drive to Banner Elk. We would definitely stay here again! A few recommendations for future guests: 1. You may want to go old school and print out directions as our GPS lost signal so we had a little trouble finding the house the first time. 2. The driveway is a bit tricky especially if you have more than 1 car. 3. The hot tub is a nice benefit and fits 2 adults comfortably.

A nice small cabin that sleeps quite a bit if need be, lots of outdoor activities to do, whilst the area is still recovering from the floods earlier some places aren’t as easily accessible but not much you can do about Mother Nature. Loved the movie selections they have laid out reminded me of my childhood going to blockbuster and picking out a family movie to watch (we watched the LOTR trilogy) easily laid out instructions for everything in the cabin and would definitely stay again come lookin for the opportunity.

We had a wonderful weekend away as a family skiing. Very convenient location, 10min from Sugar Mountain ski resort. Very comfortable accommodation, felt private and in nature and we enjoyed the hot tub. Will be back!
