One of the best AirBnB’s we’ve stayed in! It really was a home away from home. Plenty of room for 5 of us, meticulously clean and nicely appointed. Comfy furniture, coffee machine, fantastic water pressure for showers, Netflix and PlayStation for kids and little personal touches here and there made it feel like home rather than a rental. Hiroko was extremely welcoming, took us grocery shopping on our first day and drove us to ski fields every day and went over and above to make our stay very comfortable. Thanks Pete and Hiroko for opening up your lovely home to us.

ホストさんが部屋の仕様を細かく教えてくれてよかったです。 近くの温泉の場所なども地図で教えてくれて丁寧でした。 部屋がかなり広いです。 木造で日本っぽいおしゃれな造りになっていました。 すべての部屋のエアコンを付けるとブレーカーが落ちてしまうので灯油ヒーターをずっと使っていましたが、快適でした。 キッチンも広く、小物も色々揃っているので使いやすかったです。 シャワールームだけ狭いので、13人全員回すのには少し時間がかかりました。 総じてとても快適な宿でした。2日間ありがとうございました。

アメニティもあるし、近くにスーパーもあるので非常にいい宿でした！

Sudo House was truly a delight to stay at. It is a large traditional japanese house and easily fit our group with ample space remaining. Despite the rustic interior, the amenities were in good condition and every room had a heater to stay warm. Narelle is a very responsive and proactive host even offering to pick us and send us to the echigo yuzawa station. All in all, we enjoyed our stay tremendously.

I had a great stay at Adam’s place! Peaceful environment. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend this place!

我們幾個女生超級享受住在這邊的時光，房子內的一切都非常的完美！整間房子很乾淨，衛浴的部分：水量夠強，洗髮精、潤髮乳也都很棒。每一個細節都可以感受到屋主很有品味。最重要的是Mako很友善，且在有需要的時候，可以很即時的得到協助。推薦給如果有到輕井澤旅遊的人，這裡絕對會是很棒的選擇。

We were four adults visiting the Matsumoto area, looking for a peaceful place close to nature — and this house was perfect. It's spacious, cozy, and full of charm, with large windows that offer stunning views of Lake Suwa and a big veranda where we could relax and enjoy the scenery. The house has a great heating system that kept the entire space wonderfully warm — it was such a treat to walk around in comfort while it was below zero outside. Communication with the host was easy and positive. Kim is a lovely person, and just chatting with him made us feel right at home. Finding the house at night was no issue at all, and parking is conveniently located right next to the house. We heard from the host about a nature trail just behind the house, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore it. Hopefully next time! We highly recommend this peaceful retreat for anyone visiting the area.

This is one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. It is atmospheric with great views. Sitting at the dining table watching the snow outside is a real treat. Luke had great instructions to get there from the bus stop. The location is excellent, it is an easy walk pretty much anywhere in town. Comfortable beds, and all the amenities you would need. We had four people, but it would definitely be comfortable with more. Definitely recommend, thank you for having us.

David is a wonderful host, always ready to jump in and help out. The location is perfect for snow sports and is close to several equipment rental spots and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The host is friendly and helpful. The house is cosy, clean and well equipped. Checkin and checkout is very easy. Recommend for couple and groups 3-4 people.

とても綺麗で、落ち着ける空間でした。エアコンも２つ備えられており、寒い時期でしたが暖かくして過ごす事ができました。お風呂場も綺麗で、安心して利用できました。また寒波が来ている時期で外は寒かったですが、チェックイン前からエアコンを付けておいて下さり、返信も早く、とても親切なホストでした。

Exatamente conforme as fotos, local super limpo e aconchegante. Já aluguei várias vezes por aqui e nunca estive em um imóvel tão equipado com coisas p/ cozinha, mantimentos e outros como aqui. Muito obrigado por nos atender tão bem.

A very convenient place to stay close to the train station. Nagano is underrated in my opinion. Full of culture and much more like the Japan I imagined than big cities. We enjoyed a great trip to the Snow monkey park which has to be done and Zenjuki temple with first Buddha in Japan and dark passageway that is quite unusual and has to be done.

Highly recommend this place. It's a great location, lovely setting in the woods, we were there in winter and with the snow its incredibly beautiful and also walkable to the gondala or chair lift. This Airbnb is a seperate apartment attached to the Mojo lodge, so you get all that's listed, 2 bedrooms + living room/kitchen/bathroom etc etc but also in Winter season you can use the communal area of the lodge as well which is great, plus you get an excellent cooked breakfast and a morning lift to the gondala. Plus all the staff at the lodge are super friendly and very approachable for advise on the area whether that's where to eat or the best onsen or other local knowledge. We really felt welcomed and at home for the whole week we were here and we'd definitely stay again.

Ive always wanted to stay in a house with traditional Japanese tatami floor and sleep on futon! My wishes were fulfilled by staying at Muu’s house. She is friendly talkative, ready to help us at all the time. Would like to visit here when I come back to Matsumoto again.

We had a great stay for our ski vacation. The place is not big but cozy, fit our family of four. We didn’t have a car but we got excellent shuttle service from the host who was responsive and arranged our trips to ski resort, train station and even supermarket! We also obtained discounted lift tickets directly from the host which is great. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place.

Very fun and beautiful place. You can tell that they took a lot of time and planning to create the layout and atmosphere. It’s by far my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever booked.

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.
