AnDrew and Tiffany’s property is exactly as listed. A beautiful home with spectaculars views. Tiffany was very quick to respond and made us feel right at home. I would highly recommend their space to anyone looking for a place to stay on the lake.

We had a lovely time in this wonderfully appointed home! The nicely decorated spacious main floor allows for great conversations (open concept), great cooking (amazing kitchen!) & great outdoor access (2 decks). Having 3 bedrooms & baths was also a treat. We used the private beach area several times (another great treat). Our host was incredibly responsive to all requests, as well. Thank you, Megan & Crew.

Everything was great. Simple check-in and out. Location was great for my needs. All the amenities were laid out. I would definitely stay there again.

This was my third stay at "Sweet Retreat" and it never disappoints! Terri is a wonderful host and makes sure we have everything we need for our stay! The coffee and scones are such a nice treat! We enjoy stopping in at the coffee shop just below the Airbnb. We enjoy walking through this quaint little village and to Lake Superior! We will be back and highly recommend Sweet Retreat! So convenient to Bayfield but nice to return to a quiet setting!

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

Such an amazing stay, great for a cozy weekend with friends. Was able to make many meals with the beautiful cookware provided.

We loved this place! Its modern, lovely, and huge! Downstairs has a pool table in one big room and an adjacent common area with a large screen TV and seating, and an entry room for gear storage and that leads to the lake and trails. The main floor has a large kitchen, a bath with steam shower, a bedroom, and a living room with a fireplace and huge windows with views of Bark Bay and trees. Upstairs is a loft with more lake views and seating, and 2 large bedrooms with huge closets and a large shared bathroom with a tub and separate shower. High ceilings in the main and upstairs bedrooms add to the spacious feel. The home was also beautifully decorated and there are lots of games, books, and tasteful artwork. But even better is the property's long, fabulous lake shore trail along Bark Bay, with access to the water below during the summer season, and where you can swim in the caves beneath or jump into deep water, or simply sit gazing across the lake.
