We had such a great stay at this cozy spot. It was so homey and peaceful, that it made is feel rested after a busy day at the beach. The best part of this place was the kubo facing the sea. We could’ve spent the entire day there just relaxing and taking in the view. After the long travel from Manila and all the activities we’d been doing, hot water in the shower is really a game changer. The free tinapay (soooo delicious 😋) and coffee was also a nice touch. And of course, we can’t forget Starlet the cat. He was like our little host together with Ate, showing us to the balcony during check-in and even greeted us goodbye when we left. It was too cute, like Starlet was thanking us for staying. Overall, this place was a gem. It’s relaxing, welcoming, and the perfect spot to unwind. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!! It does not get better than this. The sound of the ocean, the view of the surf, restaurants and cafes within minutes. We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was extremely friendly & helpful, would return and recommend.

Our recent stay was truly exceptional! The beachfront location provided breathtaking ocean views and immediate access to the pristine shores, making it a perfect retreat for beach lovers. The property was equipped with all the amenities we could ask for, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. From the well-appointed kitchen to the cozy bed spaces. What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding hospitality. The host and caretaker were incredibly friendly and responsive, promptly addressing any questions we had.

Price of the accommodation was reasonable considering it’s beachfront which is a great plus.

We spent our first wedding anniversary at Surfstar Elyu, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by Ate Jharah, who explained the amenities. Our bedroom was cozy, especially the bed—we think it has a magnet because it was so hard to leave! Haha. The comfort room was superb, and the bath and body soap smelled so good! As soon as we entered the room, we were welcomed by a relaxing fragrance that set the mood for chilling. What we loved the most was the "kubo"—super worth it for us! We had chill vibes, played games, enjoyed food trips, and had endless chit-chats. I also loved playing my music since they had speakers in the kubo! The location was great, near most of the recommended food spots in Elyu. It was really hard to leave that place. We will definitely come back! Oh, and by the way, the cheese bread was absolutely delicious! Not a single day passed without us eating it. Haha.

We had fun staying at Dr. Neil's place. The room was clean and spacious, and had appliances and furniture that made our long-term stay more comfortable. Tita Marge and the rest of the family is helpful and friendly. The location is peaceful and away from the loud and crowded parts of the beach. I also love that there are other areas you can stay in. I love spending my mornings in the bar area to watch the beach. There is also a co-working space where you can get a glimpse of the beach. The internet at that time is not stable enough to use for work, so we bought a pocket wifi. Anyway, I love the place and we will definitely come back here. Thank you Dr. Neil and family!

Place is wonderful, Cecil, Kim and Gerald were very accomodating. Did not have any issues with communication. will surely be back! My kids and mother enjoyed the stay! Thank you for having us.

My wife and I had a peaceful 4 days 3 nights stay, walking by the bay, kwentuhan sa kubo, food trip around the vicinity. Overall, I recommend this place to stay. Just a few points for future guests: bring flashlight so you can navigate the beach walking at night, off lotion for mosquitoes since the place is near the bay thus mosquitoes. if you're commuting, Partas is not a good bus company. also bring a hat since it will be sunny hot between 10am to 3pm.

It was a great stay✨ Malapit yung place sa mga resto, cafe and even sa dagat. Solo traveler-friendly pa. Mabait yung nag-aassist. Malinis yung place.

Lan's place is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful getaway away from the crowds. The view from the third floor is stunning, especially when taking a dip in the pool with the sea as your backdrop. The room is cozy and offers a beautiful sunset view, making it the perfect spot to relax. We also loved that the place is pet-friendly—our fur baby had a great time! The only challenge we faced as commuters was the lack of nearby restaurants, but we made sure to keep the tricycle driver's number handy for quick trips to Urbiztondo. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

A wonderful modern Filipino house in a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of San Fernando and San Juan! Our family throughly enjoyed the amenities of the house, including the air con in every room including the living room, the wonderful pool, and the fully stocked kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove and microwave. Upstairs restroom does have a hot water heater for those who desire to have a warm shower. The location is handy for your La Union and Ilocos adventures (40 min to San Fernando, 2.5 hours to Vigan and Baguio). Also maraming maraming salamat to the wonderful caretaker Lorena, she was available at all hours to open and close the gate and house, always straightened around the house when we were gone, and was a great help. I would not hesitate to rent this house again when I come home to La Union!
