In stayed in his property with my family and really enjoyed the hospitality. His property iPrathimesh ji took care of us like a family and also supported in every aspect of our stay in Jaisalmer. He also helped me in booking desert stay which was amazing. He also gave respect to my parents with all their queries and needs whenever they asked for. He opened his property door like we are his family which includes early check-in considering my situation of reaching early morning at 4 am. He sent the auto-rickshaw for pick us and comfortably allowed us to check-in as my parents are old. Also he kept our luggage after check- out. I'm overwhelmed with his kind gesture. He guided us with restaurants, places to visit, hidden stories of Jaisalmer :-) My brother left his wallet and bag at some restaurant at other side of the city where we went for dinner and pratimesh ji didn't even give a second thought and ride my brother with him on his bike to get his wallet. I'm so thankful to him 🙏

For a great escape, authentic local experience and silent place to sleep under the stars. We highly recommend staying with Om’s lovely family in small traditional mud huts. His family welcome guests to live and experience homemade local dishes and best masala chai. It’s a slow pace location with no electricity, no running water and only basics. If you like outdoor adventure and looking for a place to unwind and get grounded; this is something for you. You can take long walks up the little table mountain to see the sunrise. Om offers also a safari with a dinner in the dunes and stargazing! All this just about half an hour ride from Jaisalmer Fort.

Anil’s place Desert Boys Guesthouse is inside the Jaisalmer Fort, in a quaint section with the best view of the fort and city. Living in the fort itself means you can explore the entire fort easily at your discretion. The cafe in the property also adds to your flexibility in food. Highly recommended to try Anil’s Desert safari. Mr. Himmat was an excellent safari guide and a night under the starts in the wilderness was amazing. Overall we had a magical stay in the Golden city with an amazing host at a beautiful property.

Om's place is worth the stay. We went as a family and really enjoyed the stay. The Food was great, it was cooked by his Wife and felt homely. It is a pollution free atmosphere, we were able to get a very good Sunset view from the stay and excellent Star Gazing. OM is very friendly and responsive, he is reay to attand to your calls and needs any time of day. This place is for those who like to stay away from City and have a peaceful stay with Home cooked food. We found couple of Camels wandering past our Hut. If you are found of animals, you can play with Baby goats, they are cute. There are a lot of Sparows, which have vanished from cities and towns. The cute sound of Sparows in the morning and evening is heavenly. A stroll in their village and the Village school provides glimple of Village life and exprerience. We certainly enjoyed and would recommed it to anyone who wants peace of mind and have a quite time.

Had a wonderful stay in Jaisalmer thanks to Pratimesh and Lala. Their place is steps from the fort and absolutely cozy. They were so helpful during our stay, and the desert safari was amazing!
