I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

Nice place and stunning balcony. The building is nice and the neighbors are quiet. The place wasn’t that clean but the host was very responsive to feedback and he will hire a different cleaning person from now. And he even brought a microwave when I asked! Great full service place. My only tip is that if you are a light sleeper, this place isn’t good for you. There’s a lot of construction outside and it shakes the whole apartment and makes a lot of noise. It’s not in the host’s control and hopefully will be done soon.

A beautiful apartment in the heart of Cairo- homey, clean, and beautifully decorated. Definitely will book again and recommend anyone to book. The assistant at the property was also incredibly helpful.

What can you say more than it was our best Airbnb experience by far? Ammar, the most friendliest and responsive superhost, the roof top spacious beautiful apartment, the amazing neighbourhood with all our favourite restaurants and shops in Cairo, and the greenery... Well, we definitely found home away from home for when we need to be in Cairo for a few days. Will be back there in 2 weeks' time. We totally recommend it.

I honestly felt like staying at my home even if it was for short time. Lomi's place is extremely tidy and clean. All the things you might need will be found in her apartment. I'd love to come back!

I spent wonddrful time in the flat. The balcony is a bliss. I am intending to return there.

L'appartamento era al centro di Zamalek, un quartiere molto tranquillo e piacevole, pieno di negozietti, posti dove mangiare, gallerie d'arte e palazzine storiche, situato sull'isola più grande del tratto del Nilo che passa per il Cairo. Abdelrahman ci ha accolte ed è stato sempre gentile e disponibile. La pulizia era impeccabile ed abbiamo apprezzato molto il balconcino, con vista su un bellissimo giardino. Con Uber ci siamo spostate con facilità verso il centro del Cairo. La notte era tutto molto silenzioso. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consiglierei a tutti coloro che hanno il desiderio di passare qualche splendido giorno al Cairo. Grazie.

الشقه مطابقة للصور تماما وفيها جميع الاحتياجات، لكن هناك رائحة في دورة المياة والغرفة المجاورة ، عموما المكان ممتاز ويوجد العاب وكتب، فيه صرافه قريبه وبقالة، الافياش ثنائية ولا فيه الا توصيله وحده، الافضل يكون معكم افياش.

The apartment was simply perfect - it was clean, had all amenities (+amazing rooftop), and is located in a great area with plenty of shopping and sights around it. It was made even better by the host who was super responsive and helpful during my whole stay. Check-in/out was easy and I felt so welcomed. Cant recommend enough!!

Wohnung ist wie beschrieben. Alles in Top zustand und wie wann es erwartet. Kann die Wohnung nur empfehlen und allen einen schönen Aufenthalt wünschen. Die Wohnung hat auch ein Balkon zur Strasse raus, wo man ein guten überblick hat.

اولا حصل علينا ظرف وفاه في القاهره يوم مغادرتنا للشقه وصدام كان متعاون جدا في وقت الخروج وذوق جدا وقدم خدمات كأخ في بلد غربه ثانيا تركت مفاتيح الشقه علي الطاوله وقفلت الباب وقت المغادره وعند ابلاغ صدام كانت ردت الفعل ذوق جدا عادي حصل خير بس انا ما عندي مفتاح ثاني للشقه …ليتك بلغتني قبل تخلي المفتاح جوا ..بس لا تشغلي بالك موضوع بسيط راح نغير كيلون الباب انتو اهم شي انتبهو علي نفسكم واذا احتجتو اي شي كلموني طبعا هاذي ثاني مره اسكن في الشقه المره اللي فاتت سكنت في الشقه اللي قدامها 3 غرف نوم في الواقع شقه تستاهل كل ريال يندفع فيها

المره الاولى اللي انزل فيها مصر عن طريق air bnb بالعادة فنادق .. الشقه فاقت التوقعات من نظافه من راحه نفسيه فيها وكل شيء تحتاجه ونفس الوصف تحس انك في بيتك والخدمات من الاستاذ معتز كل شوي يرسل ويسأل يعني يخليك تنحرج من اخلاقه الله يسعده .. بيكون تعاملي دائم مع الاستاذ معتز ان شاءالله شكراً لك على حسن الضيافه ويعطيك العافيه وربي يوفقك .

An unreal experience with a very responsive host. Wanted a 5star accommodation and that’s what I received. Would highly recommend and thank the host for the great 10 days spent.

Bassem is a really good host. He is very friendly and helpful and reacts super fast. His apartment is amazing. We stayed there for the second time and it has a lot of space and an amazing rooftop terrace. The location is great, there are a lot of restaurants reachable in walking distance. We will definitely come back again.

Really enjoyed my stay. The flat felt just like home and was as described. Sherry was really responsive and made sure that I had all I need. Definitely a place to consider in Maadi :)

I spent 29 days at this great place, just renovated. Very clean, the furniture quality is good, everything there as described and better. The owner (Amenah) is so helpful, cooperative, and friendly. During our stay, she didn’t hesitate to help in anything and followed with us to the end. For sure will not be the last time for us to deal with her and wish her all the best.

One of the best Airbnbs I stayed in, feels like a home. Abundance of natural light and plants. we loved it At check in, we found food, fruits and snacks which was such a sweet gesture, specially when you arrive tired after a day of traveling.
