Pros-1st time staying here and the place was incredible, feels like home. Clean & spacious. Seaview just perfect.. juz bit frustrated coz the weather was not on our side. Cons- bedding bit hard, hopefully can be replace with more comfortable

Ok! Nice place

There were few hiccups where certain amenities was not fuctioning during our stay but Dick was very proactive and responsive in making sure that our stay was worthwhile. The place is nice and huge for family to stay. Very peaceful neighbourhood. Thanks Dick for accommodating us, will definitely stay agin in the future.

good place for family vacation

Great place to stay in Kuching. The apartment was perfect for my husband and I and the host is very accommodating and caring. Our flight was 11hrs late arriving in Kuching which impacted the check in time - we only arrived at 3am! - but Cin was very understanding and helpful! The apartment is well equipped, clean and has the comfiest pillows! We had a hire car so parking was an added plus!

We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

I would say that the home felt very cosy and a quiet place for family. On top of the all excellent amenities and facilities such as bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, the host really pull an effort to make the place feels like home by providing indoor boardgames such as scrabble, carrom and congkak, which lighten up the moods for my kids. Overall, excellent stay and highly recommended.

Very suitable place to bring large families, with each family get own bedrooms and bathrooms, privacy no issues!! House is very clean, host provided complete basic necessities. Although a bit far from centre city of Kuching nonetheless its a very recommended place to stay. Will definitely stay here if come with large groups. Thank you!!

A chill place to stay

superb interaction with host who lives nearby. Pool is huge and overlooks Sarawak River. Not many users of pool. Condo is very attractively decorated and feels like home. Quick shot in elevator down to pool. Condo has view south to city - better than many others in this multistage development, whose views are completely blocked. Restaurants and shopping markets within easy walking distance. Downtown hub of Kuching is a 5 minute drive via Grab at cost of about US$1. South side of Sarawak River is more Chinese; north side more Malay. Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana wing has a rooftop bar. Newly opened Sheraton [Feb 2024] has a Japanese restaurant on the roof. 21 Bistro has live music downstairs, and attractive restaurant upstairs with no smoking. Borneo Cultures Museum is huge and well presented. Sarawak Cultural Village at Damai [45 minutes drive from downtown Kuching hosts longhouse models to explore and dance show. Enactors teach poison blow dart use to visitors.

Value for money, good location and responsive host, recommended.

The owner is pretty friendly and quick to response if we have any questions, especially he tried his best to meet some small demands. We have a nice experience in this homestay during our Kuching trip. See you next time and thank you.

Great place to stay. Good communication and very clean

Monolocale ben arredato e funzionale in ogni dettaglio. Kelvin gentile, reattivo e con ottimi consigli. Bella vista sul fiume dal nono piano, appartamento tranquillo e dintorni silenziosi con un po’ di negozi e ristoranti. Distante 2-3 km dal centro, bisogna scaricare la App Grab per muoversi con i taxi, solo 5 RM per ogni corsa, ci vuole anche una scheda sim locale, 40 RM all’aeroporto.

Joanne was very accommodating to our request and her place is so homey and comfortable. Not to forget the view from the windows. We came with the whole family and we enjoyed the place so much.
