My family chose to stay in Rebecca’s home during the weekend of Ironman 70.3 NC and it was the perfect choice! The house and backyard are beautiful and the house was spotless. Rebecca was incredibly communicative, easy to get a hold of, and seemed to think of everything to make us feel welcome & at home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking both nights we were there. We had an awesome time hanging out back on the patio, cold plunging in the pool (in October), and relaxing in the hot tub. Would 100% stay here again and the area/experience had us thinking about how to get down to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach more!

We loved our stay at Diana’s place! Her home was perfect for our family and provided plenty of things to do to settle in for a long weekend inside and outside of the home. We really enjoyed the playrooms close proximity to the kitchen/living room. Her home was well thought out for all ages!

Beautiful house and fantastic location in Ocean Isle. The beach access was incredibly easy to get to. The views were beautiful. Our little one loved the playground and mini golf in walking distance from the house. A great spot for families! The beds were really comfortable too!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Erin’s Home for Labor Day weekend. We were there to celebrate my birthday as well as time as a family. The home was well prepared for our stay and the necessities needed were all available. It’s such a beautiful home and having access to a pool on the premises was an added plus. The homeowners also provided us a list with information to any questions we may have needed answered which was a nice touch. I recommend anyone interested in renting a home to spend with family or friends, to consider a stay here. You won’t be disappointed! This place was amazing! The pool was beautiful and great for our family. We always take our dogs on vacation and the fenced in back yard was awesome. The ping pong table, foosball table and games kept us busy as well. Felt like home away from home. I would definitely come back next time we are Wilmington. Great place for families and dogs.

2nd summer vacation at Caroline’s home and I cannot recommend it enough. The house is clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could need. Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels, spotless bathrooms and a large kitchen/dining/living area that’s great to hang out, cook and relax in. And that’s just the inside of the house. The pool and back porch are amazing. As a family traveling with young kids, I just can’t emphasize how much time we spend hanging out in the pool and on the porch. It really makes our vacation to have this awesome feature to enjoy while we are visiting beautiful Wilmington. Caroline is an excellent and responsive host. Communication is seamless and when the only issue during our stay arose (broken dryer), she responded immediately, had a repairman at the house the same day and even took our wet clothes to her home to dry them. She goes above and beyond. I wish I could stay at this house every time I travel! 10 out of 10.

exactly as described. easy walk to beach access and peir, maybe two city blocks? Canal views were great at sunrise and sunset. Home was spotless and clean. Host was very responsive to notes and questions.

Great location and a wonderful home for a medium sized group. It was slightly overkill for my wife, daughter and I, but offseason, met our needs perfectly. My main notes are around food: 1) the stove is powerful, so easy does it 2) Even offseason, the local restaurants can get booked up quickly 3) don't miss the gardens on the water nearby. 4) There were a few stuck in crumbs on plates in the cupboard - they had gone through the dishwasher, but hadn't been rinsed before they went so weren't spotless. Nothing a little rinsing before use couldn't fix.

My son got married on the beach so I rented Sunset Cottage for my family to stay up to the wedding. It was so nice for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The beds were really comfortable. It was so much better than a hotel because we were all able to sit in the living room and on the decks with the beautiful views and talk and just spend time together. The kitchen was awesome. It has a huge island that we all sat around together, and it has high grade commercial appliances. It was quiet, and again, the waterway views were beautiful. It was both spacious and cozy at the same time. We all wanted to stay another week, but work and real life calls. I highly recommend renting this home for your family.

Rachel’s place was in the perfect location, right in the middle of great restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and beach bars. The photos did not do the house justice - it is even more beautiful in person with great homey touches and a cozy vibe. The balconies overlooking the marina was perfect and serene, and the walk to the beach was very short and doable. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

My daughter ran the Oak Island Marathon. This house was a block to the start, clean, near the ocean and great restaurants. Kerri and Doug are great at communicating clearly and quickly. We would definitely stay again.

We loved the house…very quiet and private at Christmas time…very clean…I had many questions and Lindsey was very patient and prompt with her time…would definitely go back…

We enjoyed our stay at Marshall’s home. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was great that we could bring our dogs along with us with no high dog fees. The only trouble I had was being short. The cabinets are high and I had trouble reaching things in the upper cabinets but that’s short girl problems. It would have been nice to have a stool.

A Wave From It All was a perfect vacation. The views and house are pristine, peaceful, and clean. The accommodations perfectly housed 8 of us. The screened in Carolina Room offered plenty of seating and beautiful views. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans and spices for cooking and beautiful dinnerware for entertaining. We loved the decor…it was kind of unique romantic-gothic-coastal-Victorian (I know a mouthful but if you see it you get it). It looked as though the owners had made it a hobby to collect beautiful original pieces of art. The house has a dock that we utilized for fishing, crabbing, floating, and kayaking. Under the house there are two kayaks, a paddle board, floats, chairs, skim boards and boogie boards. You can walk, bike, or golf cart anywhere. The hosts were by far the kindest and most thoughtful we have ever experienced. They offered excellent restaurant recommendations. 10/10 recommend!!! The island is beautiful.

We had the best time staying at this house. I am very particular about beds because usually when I go on vacation I wake up and can’t barely walk, my neck is stiff, and I’m miserable. The beds were amazing and I woke up each day not in pain and feeling very refreshed! This is a big deal for me! I will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this clean, quiet, and comfortable bungalow just a stone's throw from UNCW. Self check in was a breeze. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the whole home was pristine. James was quick to respond to questions. We'll stay again the next time we're in Wilmington!

We were impressed how comfortable her place was for us. We were moving from New Jersey to Leland and had a gap between closings and needed a comfortable place for an 8 night stay and it was absolutely perfect. Its a beautiful comfortable home and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Extremely happy with our choice of accomodations. Highly recommend. Beautiful neighborhood and pool area too. Just lovely.

My stay at Oak Island Oasis was wonderful. The house was just as posted and very clean. Quiet neighborhood and perfect for walks along the ICW and to the Veterans Park. Everything you need for a great vacation was provided. The screened front porch and the back deck were both enjoyed. Backyard perfect for playing ball with my fur baby. Kolleen was wonderful to work with. She checked in when I arrived to make sure everything was good. I definitely hope to return next year for another fall getaway. OKI is my happy place!

We are so happy that we stayed at the Rivers! Everyone young and old had a great time. The estate is so private and beautiful we could not believe it. The home is amazing and well stocked. We enjoyed the sun rises and sunsets so much. We had kayaks delivered and explored the area and it was something dreams are made of in a fairytale. The elevator allowed us to comfortably enjoy this home with older members of our family with ease. The nature and bird wildlife is just incredible. from the Anhingas swimming in the Cape Fear River and the Kingfisher flying back and forth over the pond to the plentiful Bluebirds we constantly entertained. We can’t wait to visit again and transport to serenity. Thank you for a vacation that will always be remembered ❤️

Awesome place close to the beach. Ashley’s place is very clean and has everything you and your dogs need! There are tons of things to do within the area and Southport is only a 10 min drive.

This was our second stay at Reel Lucky! We have fallen in love with Holden Beach and it was nice to come back to a familiar place. Mark’s place is clean, great proximity to the beach and has everything you need. We especially love the backyard with the inlet and enjoyed fishing on the dock and sitting out on the porch at night. We would eventually like to have our own place at Holden beach but until then will choose Reel Lucky again and again. Thank you for another great stay!

Wow. Probably the nicest airbnb I’ve ever been to. The house is pure luxury with every amenity included. Coffee, cream, soap, shampoo, snacks, fruit, you name it. The pool is out of a magazine and I couldn’t believe it was all ours. The house is in an excluded gated community about 12 minutes to the beach. We will be back next year without a doubt. We had such a blast.
