The layout of the home with the open floor plan was perfect for hosting a number of people. Beds comfortable. Master suite nice but a bit over the top. Kitchen was the best equipped of all the rentals we have experienced. Staff friendly and very accommodating.

Great location, right on the lagoon. Awesome dock! Perfect setup for fishing, although I think we were at the wrong time of the season to find redfish but that is no reflection on the place or Owners ! Really nice pool but with the 20 degree wind chill we didn't indulge in it. Very peaceful, we'll come back !

When we first stumbled upon this house, it seemed almost too good to be true. But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Babbie was the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The house was just fabulous! The sunsets from the balcony were excellent and the location incredible. Babbie had excellent restaurant recommendations and was of great help. She went above and beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Brad’s place was beautiful. It was perfect for our family’s stay. The pool was heated, as stated in the description, and we were a short walk to the beach. It exceeded our expectations.

our host was always responsive to any questions and feedback. we loved all of the extra amenities at this location. We used the kayaks, bodies boards, chairs, fishing poles, crab pots and casting net. we loved every minute we were there.

Book it! We loved Mimosa on the Bay! It was like getting a hug from an old friend…warm, cozy and comfortable! The house feels lived in in a good way…the colors, the furnishings, the original hardwoods, comfortable beds and so well stocked! Charlotte has thought of everything to make you feel right at home! The dock is great for fishing and the sunsets are stunning! Book it!

A five star experience all around. The house was easy to find which says a lot considering its charming, tucked away location. Decorated with the perfect balance of beautiful, funky and relaxing but also functional and kid friendly. Our boys loved the spiral stairwell and loft and we really appreciated that they provided a pack n play for our toddler. Every corner we turned, we noticed more thoughtful touches by the hosts. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could require to cook but Dave gave us a great list of local restaurants/coffee shops too. The neighborhood is stunning. We enjoyed mornings on the little beach behind the house and walks through the neighborhood in the afternoon. The porch was our favorite spot to relax! It’s clear that Dave and Jenn put a lot of thought into creating and maintaining a beautiful place to stay. We hope to be back soon!

We spent 1-2hrs on the beach before we even entered the house! This location was perfect!! Close to NAS, 35 min from gulf shores beach for more great food options. The kids couldn’t wait to get in the water (and sand) everyday!

We felt right at home in this cottage. We were able to bring our 2 little fur babies too which made the vacation that much more enjoyable. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the cottage and the creek in the backyard. Even caught quite a few fish! We enjoyed a nice fire in the supplied fire pit and made s’mores! Pirates cove was a very convenient local beach area and the public beach was just a short drive from the cottage. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and we hope to have the chance to be able to come back to stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great place for two families with young kids. We could walk to the beach and walk to the lagoon to explore. Quick drive to the main drag. House was great. Really perfect for two families staying together as there were private bathrooms in each of the king rooms in addition to a shared bath for the kids rooms, and then one additional on the main floor. We had a great stay, thank you!

Immediately when we arrived we felt at home felt the sincerity of real hospitality. Love the layered richness, personality, and charm at every level in this perfect little spot. Even the water fowl diving at the pier on cue at sunset felt like a curated gift from Teresa who has mastered the essence of hospitality, taking care of us from start to finish with such grace. And a golf cart!

We visited during the week of New Year's knowing weather could be a 'wildcard' when we booked. So glad we did - we got lucky with seasonably warm weather. We enjoyed views of the bay from morning coffee to sunset cocktails, truly beautiful and peaceful. Our boys loved checking the crab trap multiple times a day and even landed a few. We would definitely visit again!

We’ve stayed at Lavanda’s cottage multiple times over the past few years and every time, it’s just as dreamy as before.

Extremely nice stay. Worth every penny! Family very much enjoyed this setting. Had everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Quiet, clean, comfortable. We will be back! Thank you!!! BTW- distance to beach was absolutely acceptable and easy to walk.

Quick weekend trip to visit OWA for my grandson's birthday. Very close, convenient and a great value for the price paid. Cabin was clean and comfortable, Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful pet friendly place to stay. Quiet and peaceful but close proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc.

Johns place was amazing! We caught some good fish off the pier and it was very private and quiet. Would definitely recommend it and we will be back😎

We enjoyed our stay at the Joe's fish camp and it was central to the events that we attended. The place was exactly as described. The enclosed back porch and dock were a great place to hangout and view the birds and wildlife in the area... very peaceful and quiet!
