Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.

Wir haben uns bei typisch schottischem Wetter wunderbar geborgen gefühlt. Sonnenschein läßt sich auf der Terrasse genießen. Die Hunde waren durch die Umzäunung gut gesichert und konnten das Grundstück erkunden.

Staying at Blacksmith’s Cottage on the Isle of Mull was an absolute delight. The location couldn't have been more perfect for our adventures across the island. Nestled within walking distance to Tobermory, we found it incredibly convenient to explore the charming town and its vibrant harbor. The surrounding scenery is simply breathtaking, with picturesque landscapes at every turn. The host’s hospitality and kindness made our stay truly unforgettable. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and comfortable retreat!

If you are looking for a place on the great Isle of Islay this is it! Not too far away and just enough to have a relaxing time. Was here for 3 nights and place was perfect for short morning drives to Portnahaven, Port Ellen, Bowmore. Small little pubs/restaurants were perfect. Just make sure to book a reservation if you do look to eat. Got a chance to visit 6 distilleries while on the island. Great spot, family loved and and drinking coffee every morning or a wee dram every night watching the lighthouse was amazing…we will look to be back

Our visit to Ella's place on Mull exceeded expectations! The Blue House instantly felt like home, with all the amenities we needed. Located in a quiet area just a short distance from Tobermory, it’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to the town. The 10 minute walk into Tobermory was very pleasant. Ella was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and great recommendations for the area. The Blue House, part of a vibrant row of homes, felt like a beautiful homage to Tobermory's iconic colorful houses along the harbor. We highly recommend this charming house to anyone visiting the area and look forward to returning in the future!

We could not have had a better stay at Vanessa’s cottage. Everything was perfect. It’s lovely and clean with stunning decor. A compact kitchen with all of the essentials. There is a lovely view of the sea from the kitchen window. Tobermory is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed getting cosy in front of the wood burning stove in the evening. From start to finish Vanessa was a really friendly and responsive host. Thanks for a great stay Vanessa. ❤️

Beautifully decorated and well appointed home. Great location - 5 min walk from the co-op, 15 mins walk to the centre of Castlebay. We stayed with our two young kids and their grandparents. Everyone was comfortable, there were appropriately designed bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate all ages. The house was warm throughout and features a comfy living room, big dining table - and a bright and welcoming kitchen with a nice, smaller table for breakfast. Definitely hope to stay here again and happily recommend.

Excellent accommodation in the ideal position to explore Islay. The house was spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable and warm.

A gorgeous little place with spectacular views, privacy and the best shower that has ever existed. Elaine and family were great hosts. I'd definitely stay again.
