We were a family of 4 adults - a 16 year old and an 8 year old and the house and location were ideal for us as the 2 adults and 2 kids were visiting from Australia. We were able to entertain friends who popped in as there was so much space, well equipped kitchen, huge BBQ etc. We loved this house and would go back. The only negative was the WiFi was not great in the house, but it's also not great reception in the area - so hopefully that will improve. If you were going to work while staying it wouldn't be easy to do so. A great experience was had by all and the highlight was being able to use the pool and leisure centre in Sheen Falls Hotel across the road. Whenever we needed anything Paudie or Kathy were on it immediately.

Grande maison avec de grandes chambres et chacune une salle de bain. Literie excellente et tout ce qu il faut pour faire la cuisine. Maison très calme dans un joli quartier. Tout peut se faire à pied. Très bon camp de base pour découvrir une très belle région et faire de splendides randonnées.

We stayed at Chris place for one night. We had an amazing stay, the location and the property is absolutely beautiful! On arrival we were met by Chris who was very friendly and showed us around. It was a very peaceful stay and would definitely recommend to all. Hope to stay there again in the future. Thank you.

The apartment has everything you need for a short stay in a remote peaceful setting. Communication re. check in was great. There is a lockbox for self check in however Nina met us on arrival and showed us around. The apartment was clean, warm and well stocked. There is not much room for luggage so pack light as the space is small. We chose this mainly for the sauna and plunge pool and they did not disappoint. Noel has done a wonderful job on the wood burning sauna and the natural plunge pool is what you would dream of having in your garden, it really was magical. We did not manage to use the fire pit as the weather was wet and windy but it looked lovely. We drove the Beara Way one of the days and was easily done from this location. The drive from Bantry and the nearest pub/restaurant is about 15 minutes on a narrow country road that I would not recommend doing in the dark so if you want peace and quiet and are happy to be secluded in the evenings this is the place for you.

Our stay in Wren Cottage was truly the most luxurious and relaxing experience. It’s the perfect place for a cosy couple retreat. Naomi kindly checked us in and showed us around. The location was extremely private. We made full use of the sauna and pool many times, and had it to ourselves each time. Just a short preheat needed for the sauna and it’s ready to use. We’d recommend bringing slippers/sandals and a robe for walking across the yard to the spa. Fold-out sofa bed is more comfortable and spacious than it looks. Wren Cottage is small but is beautifully furnished and has everything you’ll need. Both the Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker were a huge bonus. We had the most wonderful time and will definitely be back!

The makings of a good holiday can be broken or made by the accommodation, this is the booking you pray and hope for when you dip your toe into the listing's. A peaceful location with a lovely host, prepared to go the extra mile to make you comfortable and welcome. A 5 star base for your holiday plans.

Great base for weekend in killarnney

Great stay and Eamonn was very helpful and provided lots of information about the house.

We had a great stay for the 10 of us. Very short walk from the train station and downtown. Great restaurants and bars within a 5 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again next time we come to Killarney.

Lovely stay in Roscarbery , although I didn’t meet our hosts they were in contact and answered any questions we had quickly. Very cosy house especially with the open fire . Very enjoyable short break.

Simon was a top notch host! His local recommendations of Ross Castle and Harmonie Sauna were 👌. The Mill exceeded our expectations! Following the path down to the ocean and seeing it for the first time will forever be a memory that brings me joy and a smile! We hope to come back someday!

Our stay at Moone Lodge with our toddler was pure perfection! Not only was the house so clean and comfortable, but they were so kind and thoughtful with all the toys and baby necessities! They were quick to respond and took time giving us awesome recommendations! Would absolutely stay here again and refer to others!

It was so nice to walk in surprised by how welcoming and nice the house were. They left a very nice note along with the necessity items to make a breakfast, which was welcome. It was a wonderful day.

We stayed there for New Year’s, and everything exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, the rooms were spacious and incredibly comfortable, the house was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the host was always attentive and ready to help. We’re already planning to return in the summer to fully enjoy the natural surroundings.

Helen was a welcoming host offering us a late check out if required. She was very responsive and very friendly in all communication. The house is even more beautiful and cosy than the pictures suggest. The shower in my en-suite room was powerful and refreshing after a long days hiking. Would really recommend this gem of a house for exploring Kenmare and surrounding areas.

We would HIGHLY recommend Mary's house! The house was perfect--even bigger than it looked in the photos, with four total bedrooms, two sitting rooms, and a large kitchen. Ample parking and a cozy sun room as well. The house is a super quick walk into town--less than five minutes and you're on Clonakilty's main street. The town itself is fantastic--tons of great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, all extremely walkable from Mary's house. We had a fantastic trip and would stay again in a heartbeat.

I don't think I've ever stayed in an airbnb with a host as considerate, accommodating, and fashionable (both in personal and interior decorating style). The space was designed with livability and beauty in mind, and it shows. My family and I settled in instantly, as the space oozes comfort, from the wood burning stove to the well-stocked and compact kitchen. And if that wasn't enough, as it was Christmas, she brought me and my family plates from her meticulously cooked family dinner. If we're ever in Cork again, we will surely rent with her, and maybe even take her out for a cocktail. Thanks, Maureen!

A great weekend in Emer's house. It was perfect for a large family get together which fitted us easily with the 5 bedrooms. House was very clean and great heating as it was cold outside during our stay. Emer was a great host. All instructions sent were easy to follow and no fuss with any of our requests made. Great location to with short walk to the town

Bernadette’s cottage was clean peaceful and quiet with amazing views and all the amenities needed for a warm and relaxing stay. Would stay again if in County Cork.
