The property was absolutely stunning!! We had arrived at 10am (several hours before check in) and the owners were amazing in preparing it with such short notice. They had connected us to a driver who was also amazing. Extremely friendly owners. Could not recommend them enough!!

One of the best places we've ever stayed! Amazing combination of comfort and nature. The view of the waterfall is incredible! Silence, peace and unforgettable beauty. But also you have bathroom and everything you need. At night we laying in the tent and watched the fireflies and this is one of the best memories of our five year old child. The staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, the best on our trip. We regretted that we had taken only one night in this amazing place. Highly recommended!

Bedste sted på vores ferie! Vi var der med to små børn og det passede perfekt. Gæstehuset ligger i Bola og familiens økolandbrug i en lille landsby 3 km fra Ellas larm. Havde virkelig følelsen af at vi oplevede det ægte sri Lanka her. Bola er en fantastisk vært. Hjalp os med alt, f.eks. købte han togbilletter til N.W for os, og hjalp os med toget med alt vores baggage..! På landbruget er der stort fokus på naturen og dyrene, stemningen er afslappet - man føler sig hjemme her. Maden var ekstremt lækker, vi spise næsten alle måltider. Vi håber at komme tilbage engang ❤️

Nous avons bien été accueilli par Dana, logement incroyable et atypique. Le repas préparé a été délicieux. Dana nous a donné de bonnes recommandations sur les activités à proximité. Nous avons eu son aide pour déposer nos bagages dans la chambre. Il nous a même aidé à mettre le feu de cheminée. Je recommande ce logement. Pour le moment c’est notre coup de cœur du Sri Lanka!

Staying at Mashita's place was a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The tranquil ambiance truly allows you to unplug and rejuvenate your senses. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! Hosts truly elevated our experience. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their impeccable manners and genuine care for their guests made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's rare to find such a gracious host, and we're grateful for their warmth and attentiveness throughout our stay.

This is an outstanding villa in a hillside location with wonderful views of the surrounding hills including Little Adam's Peak, a waterfall, endless forest and low areas far away towards the coast. Rumesh was very welcoming and helpful with walking suggestions and tuk tuk bookings. Ella is a 30 min ride away and the track down to the villa from the road is bumpy with steep sections. The food was home made, delicious and varied and was cooked fresh each day by a lady in the local village. The villa has two very well appointed bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and a large central area where we ate meals and relaxed. There is a small library and some yoga mats. Rumesh had planted cacao, mango, curry leaf bush, coriander and lime trees close to the property and we were able to walk through these. The wildlife includes a profusion of Sri Lankan birds, squirrels, boar and fire flies. This is one of those special places in the world that will stay with you for ever. Thank you.

Wunderschönes Cabin mit toller Aussicht. Wir haben uns hier direkt zu Hause gefühlt. Wir haben mit dem gemieteten Motorrad, welches wir hier in der Unterkunft mieten konnten die atemberaubende Gegend erkundet. Wir können diese Unterkunft allen Empfehlen, die auf Ruhe und Natur wert legen und etwas abseits der üblichen Touri-Routen unterkommen wollen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

We had a lovely time. We stayed at the cottage. The property is lovely and the meals are great. We enjoyed the beautiful natural pools that are very nearby, and if you are in Ella for hikes and nature, this is a great place to stay. But if you want to be near the train station and town, you may want to look somewhere there. This is in the mountains, which is what we were looking for.
