I loved my stay in this magical hill top haven. The view alone was worth it. To wake up to the sun rising over the valley was the most serene experience. The breakfast was great, and it felt incredibly luxurious to have it served to the villa, where you eat it with the stunning view, to the soundtrack of the jungle. There are great places to eat in Sidemen, just make sure you have your own way of getting around, as it's a 15 minute scooter ride away. Driving around the area was maybe my favourite thing to do as it's incredibly stunning, around every corner a new stunning view revealed, just wow. My stay had what I needed to have a great time and the host was kind and responsive on WA throughout my time there. Loved my time here and would absolutely not hesitate to come back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Gamat Bay Resort and we were lucky enough to be their first guests after their official opening. Gamat Bay is a beautiful and quiet bay with Gamat Bay Resort and Gamat Bay Restaurant currently being the only open places in the whole bay. The properties are beautifully created spaces with wooden decks overlooking the bay and direct beach access. The rooms are very nicely designed from an aesthetical viewpoint and lots of thought was put into their decoration. Our personal highlights were the tropical bathroom which made you feel like being in the jungle and the jacuzzi overlooking the bay. Service was top notch and our host Putu was easily reachable and he did a terrific job of being there for us with everything we required. The cooperating restaurant right next to the resort with it‘s incredibly kind owners made our stay even more perfect. 10/10 would return to this place anytime and thank you for our wonderful stay here! :)

Great secluded very close to nature place. Absolutely fell in love with the villa. The views are open rice fields and every morning cook comes to cook in your own villa. It’s like private chef. Luxury max. Amazing

Wat een fantastische en bijzondere plek. Het huis is open en het gevoel van ruimte en schoonheid is bijna niet op foto’s vast te leggen. Een huis met geschiedenis, al 25 jaar staat dit gebouw langs de rivier de Melangit. De rust, de natuur om het huis, de geluiden van vogels, kikkers en krekels is fenomenaal. Het zwembad is groot en er is genoeg ruimte eromheen om heerlijk onder je eigen parasol te gaan liggen. Overigens was ik alleen te gast en heb verder geen anderen gasten gezien. Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Er wordt iedere dag schoongemaakt en op verzoek overheerlijk gekookt met verse producten van de lokale markt . De bedden liggen lekker en alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Hier ga ik zeker nog terugkomen bij mijn volgende bezoek aan Bali. Villa Sunda Kelapa is het paradijs op aarde !

Pictures don’t do this place justice, it’s 10x better in person. If you can book this room you must! It’s beautiful and it’s so peaceful. The room and the surroundings it’s all great! Definitely recommend!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Every detail in the house was thoughtfully taken care of, and the service was exceptional. Any questions we had were answered within minutes. The view is breathtaking, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend staying here!

Мы пробыли на вилле 11 дней и очень не хотели уезжать! Наше пребывание было чудесным. Дева очень отзывчивый человек, показал нам окрестности и рассказал много интересного. Так же еда была замечательной. Если вы боитесь насекомых, то скорее всего это место не для вас. Но плюсов в этом месте несомненно больше. Лучшее место, где мы когда либо останавливались, очень рекомендую

✅ 1) Amazing location, located right next to a jungle with monkeys, a river, waterfall and water shrine. Very very peaceful sitting on the terrace looking out. 2) Food was very good 3) The staff provided excellent service, they were great with all our requests and went the extra mile ❎ 1) There was some language barrier during our stay that resulted in some minor miscommunication with food we wanted 2) I got bitten by a leech, watch out ⚠️
