The Piggeries is a lovely house in a beautiful location. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the layout of the house allows the family to socialise all together but also have the benefit of being able to have one’s own space. Patio and garden are a great advantage particularly when the Lancashire weather plays ball! All in all we had a wonderful stay at The Piggeries and would definitely like to stay here again.

We had a delightful stay in the converted barn. It was so impressive to see the photos of Angela and Wayne's efforts in the instruction book and really appreciated all the information and communication provided. Beds were comfortable, we were warm and all amenities were perfect for what we needed. We definitely want to return one day and will recommend to friends!

From good communication to the actual stay it was all great, house was in the location we needed very cleans and modern, easy to find and easy access and day of arrival, would recommend for a clean no nonsense comfortable stay

Karen was very attentive most helpful. She had the place ready for our arrival and even made flapjacks a totally unexpected treat. Karen even left a pamphlet out of a local walk we could do and possibly see some deer. Our son left his mobile phone behind and Karen ensured it was posted to our next address that day express post. This is going above and beyond what is required for a B&B and was hugely appreciated.

Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

J'ai passé un super séjour dans cet appartement, à deux pas du stade OLD TRAFFORD, mais aussi du tramway. Facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport, à cinq minutes du centre-ville, l'emplacement est super. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et réactifs, l'appartement était propre et bien équipé. Bref, je recommande !

Definitely my favourite Airbnb booking in 7 years!! The cabin it’s very well equipped, I’d say they thought about everything. Everything is super clean, good smell in every room. They have 4 smart tv’s, one in each room/lounge. Bed sheets were good quality and smelling really good. Good wi-fi as well. The cabin it’s reserved out of anyone’s way, it’s super quiet (you’ll be the last one in a cul-de-sac), you’ll only hear the animals and river which can be seen of 2 different bedroom windows , so from privacy perspective spot on, ideal for a couple or a family escape. I will definitely go again, I usually don’t even leave reviews , but after 2 nights I fully recharged my batteries. Hot tub was again spotless and the right temperature, both of us really enjoyed that too. The only suggestion I’d have which is probably not a must, more like a personal preference, would be building 3 walls to break the wind and probably cover the canopy/roof over hot tub. The place is in a nice area with beautiful surroundings. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the peace and privacy given and had everything we needed to enjoy a nice weekend. Will definitely stay again.
