Getting to Natasja’s house was not easy with Waze using the provided address, we ended up twice in the middle of the forest at completely different places. After getting lost in the dark forest, Natasja advised to use Google Maps and we were on track, the house’s name and location is shown correctly there. We arrived at night and the place was warm, the fireplace in the living room and iron stove in the bedroom was fired up, giving the perfect country feeling. We loved that we could take our cat and dog with us. The place is a cozy authentic farmhouse, perfect base for day hikes in the region and to relax in the evening.

Het is een klein en simpel maar zeer mooi gelegen gezellig huisje. Het uitzicht is mooi, de tuin is mooi. We hebben er erg genoten.

The place was nice and in a great location, close to everything. The hosts were so nice and helpful, highly recommended!

I spent one night during winter at Dolinka pri Štiavnici. The farm is isolated from other settlements but easy to reach by train, which goes regularly to Kozelník. Low outside temperatures are challenging because most rooms are not heated but Matej told me in advance and I was in the mood. Obviously not for sensitive people seeking comfort or fanciness. The project itself is inspirational because much of it is self-dependent and sustainable, almost like a time machine. Everything is more connected to nature, animals, slow, less distracting. I think it holds valuable lessons for everyone, at least to reflect. The location is miraculously surrounded by mountains and forest. Hiking paths are nearby. Matej has seen much and made a conscious choice with this project. He's humorous, smart, polyglot and a self-starter. I'm confident over a longer period of time that he's also great to work with.

We arrived as 14 to celebrate a bachelorette party. Miklós was very responsive and aimed to make sure that we have a pleasant stay at his place, recommending freetime activities and dining opportunities nearby. The accommodation was clean and nice for the price. It was nice to have a private area in the garden, where we could gather together to talk and play games. The jacuzzi was also really nice. Although we were asked to keep the volume down after 10pm, the place was perfect to host a laid back party.
