This space is a really interesting repurposing of a credit union building! It's spacious, and we liked how they incorporated elements of the C.U. We would definitely come back. Be aware that you're right on hwy 41, so there is traffic noise. It makes a nice launch spot for exploring the area.

We had a lovely time in the UP, we enjoyed access to a full kitchen, ample space, and the sauna made us feel like real “yupers” after a full day of skiing.

This home is in a great location in Chassell. We felt welcomed and at home. Great kitchen and bathroom with spacious bedrooms. The house is very well maintained.

We stayed for Winter Carnival with two other couples this place was perfect. The location was perfect, super clean and had all the amenities you could need. Nathan and Tanya were awesome hosts, and any of our questions or comments were answered immediately! The kitchen had everything you could need for a longer stay. It would be perfect for groups, especially snowmobilers, or a family. We had a great stay!

I stayed here with my fiancé and 7 of our closest friends for our combined bachelor/bachelorette party. It was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! The house fit the 9 of us comfortably and we definitely would have had enough space for 3 more, if needed. The lot is huge! We could play music as loud as we wanted without fear of someone hearing it. Keith was very responsive and was a great host! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a bit of serenity and to be surrounded by nature. It was perfect for what we had planned.

The cabin was a great base camp for our long weekend in the UP. The quiet surroundings made it easy to relax. Everything we needed and more was provided, coffee was great to have accessible! The dedicated outside pet waste container was useful. The provided Wi-Fi and Roku worked great. Mary the house manager made sure we knew how to find the house and communicated well.

Beautiful place. We had a true Yooper experience. -13 degrees and snow everyday. The house stayed warm and the driveway plowed every morning. We look forward to going back when we can experience everything in the Fall or Summer.

Nikki’s place was beautiful as is the setting. She was very accommodating and went above and beyond, having extra towels dropped off and letting us check out late without asking. We will definitely try to book her place again next year.

We enjoyed our stay at the little ranch house that did not look like much from the outside but was very warm and cozy on the inside! FYI - it lists a TV but it is really a TV with a DVD player in it, there is no live TV (or Wifi which we knew). There are some movies there but they are older, so if you plan to watch movies at night you may consider taking some of your own DVDs. I am not sure if the TV had an HDMI hook up on it to stream movies. The house manager Mary and host Phyllis were very kind and accommodating!

Would definetly stay here agian. Stayed here in mid-February and there were a good 18'' of snow around the property but there was a small walkway cleared to access the cottage. Overall this was a great place. The host was responsive with the one issue we encountered and worked to fix it same day. My only feedback would be that the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the TV audio was so bad it was basically unusable. I don't think either issue should be a disqualifier for most people who consider this location. Also my girlfriend and I both enjoyed the shower.

we enjoyed staying at lazy acres . The bath house was clean towels were available. The kitchen was clean coffee was good. My favorite part was watching the wildlife from the kitchen table as we had breakfast And the apple picking stick we had a couple of delicious apples. We will definitely enjoy returning

we spent a week Allison's place for work, and we enjoy every single one, house was really clean, peaceful and area was wonderful, we definitely recommend 👌

great place, gorgeous view with lake superior directly across the street. Town and groceries 5 minutes away. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Fast response when we had a question. Only complaint is for some weird reason, half of all lightbulbs were burnt out and i think there should be some sort of cleaner possibly in kitchen for you to clean up better after yourself and no pot holders or anything to use for hot foods when cooking. Otherwise, fantastic place

We had a great time at Ruth Lake in cabin 9. The cabin was very clean and easy to access and lock. Cabin is right out by the lake. So beautiful views in the morning and throughout the day, particularly in the fall. We used the communal sauna right next to the cabin as well which was very nice and quite fun to fire up. Location is great too if you're looking for a remote U.P experience. Craig Lake State Park is right next to the resort which is rather remote. Overall, we were genuinely very impressed and satisfied with the cabin and location for the price. Additionally, Dax was very responsive and accommodating throughout our weekend at the cabin. Highly recommend.
